Extensive selection, friendly owners, beautiful sewing space, and they long arm quilts in the shop! The owner was so kind and gave me tour of the shop and encouraged me to return next time I stopped in town, which I will do gladly. I was glad to see her Nebula quilt in person! What a talented quilter.

I had the pleasure of taking the jelly roll rug making class with Carol last week. What a fun day sewing and chatting while working on this project. Plenty of workspace and Carol was full of tips, tricks to complete the rug. Thanks for the discount on the days purchase too! This is the best fabric, notions store, I have ever been to in my life time. It is like walking back in time, and the prices are just amazing, considering the price wars with the economy today. The owner's Herb Sr., and Jr., and all of the staff, Emily and many others have years of experience and always ready to help in any way they can! One of my favorite stops when fabric shopping in Lancaster pa. Great online service during the virus shutdown. My fabric came in 3 business days! Much faster than the chain stores. Look forward to doing business with them again! And visiting the store once all this virus stuff is over.

Another of my "top three" quilt and fabric stores.. This is a no-frills fabric shop with a wide variety of fabrics for quilting, home decorating, and crafting, at affordable prices. Bonus is that in this store is narrow, but length of a half city block because of its connecting, but separately owned, Nancy's Notions, and Country Cupboard. It has a flea market feel, but cleaner.. It is a one-stop-shop.

One of my favorite fabric shops in Pa! Great prices and selection. $8-$9 a yard is average but the sale section usually has stuff for $3-$5

The blurb on Google says people typically spend 30 minutes to an hour here. I find that to be inaccurate. Once I get into Zooks, I don't want to leave!!!! Row after row of delicious quilting fabrics, all patterns and colors. Have you ever heard of quilter's eye candy? You'll find it here. The only problem is that the sheer volume and variety of fabrics can be overwhelming. I have learned to deal with that problem well - I just buy more fabric! Prices are right, staff is supportive, it's centrally located within 2 minutes' walk of Kitchen Kettle Village. I live hours away, but make it a point to get there at least once a year.

Excellent selection of fabrics and super friendly staff! Lots of out of the normal fabrics. Will be back in the future.
