Barbour's Bakery

Had a couple party trays ordered and picked up, right on time. They different parties loved their treats, they looked really delicious. I had to stop back and get a cookie for myself!

Great family business that has been in business for 110 years. They obviously know what they are doing. The macaroons are delicious and so many flavors. So many great baked goods it is ridiculous. They have fresh baked bread, rolls, etc. They as well have other goodies like pizza and pasties..and the pasties are delicious and remind me of what my great grandmother made. They as well have a sale rack and accept credit and ebt. Below is a picture of the cookie cake I asked them to make for my son it was 5-6 inches high..delicious..No matter what you have to visit and check out this family run business you will not regret it.

There's nothing like Barbours Bakery. The ladies are great at their jobs. Always friendly. Great baked items.

The cake was all moist and tasted like glory. This place has improved over the last few years. The cake is excellent, the cookies are addictive, and the brownies make me feel lovely.

Such a nice 'old home style' bakery. Wonderful people 😊 The goodies were out of this world scrumptious!! Huge cookies, turnovers and the most FULL sandwich cookies (Italian cookies) just oozing with delicious filling!! And the iced cinnamon raisin bread was delicious, full of juicy, plump raisins.

Excellent family run bakery. Quality and attention is apparent in their products. Brownies, Puffs, Squares, Cookie's.... just to mention a few..... they have a great selection and everything is fresh and delicious. It's a good stop to make when you're in Carbondale !!!!

Simply Amazing!! I been going in for their baked goods for over 35 years. If you're a fan of real baked goods and real icing instead of whipped topping and assembly line junk, then I'd highly recommend a trip to Barbour's Bakery to try your favorite homemade desserts.

This is this is what you dream of when you dream of a Small Town Bakery the help greet you as if they'd known you for years .
The baked goods are so good that you want to pitch a tent in the store and never leave and when you walk out your way 800 lb but every pound would be enjoyed

When you eat their pastries if you don't like it then your stomach should divorce your brain because it's not functioning correctly.

Best bakery I've had the pleasure of shopping. Their buttercream icing is amazing! Light and fluffy. The only place I get my daughter's birthday cake. All of the sweets are delicious.

Always worth a visit to a small family bakery. Great food at great prices

Bakery has been in C'dale for over 100 years, so you know they're doing something right. Barbour's always has a great selection of bread & rolls, cookies and pastries - but don't wait til the end of the day, as some items sell out fast. Recommend the small dinner rolls, Linzer cookies and mini eclairs.

Scooped in here for a quick bite and walked out with an arm full of tasty treats. The Cherry Pie was outstanding as well as the Danish and the cookies. We don't get down to Carbondale very often but this is definitely on the list of places to setup when we are.

Everything at Barbour's is excellent, from hamburger rolls to cinnamon rolls. Sweet tooth? They will satisfy it for you.

Love this bakery! Always fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and there is a nice selection. My son loves going in and picking out a treat.
