Taylor Community Library

The ladies working this library are true professionals and are the real MVPs when it comes to hiding library fines from your husband. I asked them to help me keep it a secret and they did everything they could to help me keep my husband from finding out (even though I’d already come clean to him lol) They are kind and professional and very helpful. Love this library 🖤

Nice staff, good book selection, and good movie selection. Overall is a normal library with kind staff.

I saw the one bad review and hope that that was a bad day for that person because I've never had a bad experience with this Library. I like to go to their craft classes. Taylor Library always has a tablet out in the middle of the library with classes and activities for children, teens and adults. When I called about these activities I've had workers go out of their way to find the person having the class.. trying to get me extra slots Etc. I like to go for the pyzanki egg class. We just did eggs for the 4th of July red white and blue. The library also host a food drive and provides food for low-income families in the area. They have Alzheimer caretaker care packages there with activities in it for you to use with your loved one. Being a small Library they cannot request a lot of purchases like the Albright can in Scranton because of their limited budget but they will bring in things from other areas for you. Just borrow the Ghostbusters movie" afterlife". I like that you could still go to the libraries to get movies to watch on disk. I hate to have all the TVs subscriptions to see what I want to see. Libraries are carrying a lot of TV series once they're a year or two old releasing the box sets. And if you miss a movie when it's in the theaters you can always borrow it here.

Beautiful library with a great kids play area but the librarians were super obnoxious! There was a whole bunch of kids playing with the toys, just having fun and being kids and the librarians kept on coming over to yell at them for making too much noise. Why have a kids area if you hate kids??? Also when I went to check out the librarian didn't say hello, smile, or show any kind of interest in helping the patrons. First library I've been too where the librarians were so rude.
