We went for the Chicken and Dumplings. The food and service were great! Prices are reasonable too! We're looking forward to a return visit! 👍

Update: Since my first review we've been back quite a few times, including Thanksgiving dinners the last two years. Each time the food & service have been terrific! 👍

I had the meatloaf dinner which was delicious my brother-in-law and sister had stuffed cabbage they were very good my boyfriend had the ribs he said they were very good. Our waitress Veronica was wonderful she had just such a great sense of humor and was very very efficient

Congratulations on 22 years of service to your hungry fans! Thank you for the celebratory special today! The selections were mouth-watering. I had the clams and shrimp over pasta, and it was delectable! I'll be back for more! Wishing you all the best for 22 MORE years of good old-fashioned home cooking!

Good service. Basic American dishes. The crab salad was enough for my 2 companions to share. I tried the new chicken BOB salad. I never had a salad with fried onion rings on it, and it was interesting.

Gibney's Restaurant is a family run establishment! Sandy a wonderful chef and Rich who runs the grill area are awesome. Over the years I have never come close to a meal I was not happy with!
There is Tori, a bundle of positive energy and Miclelle who is also very attentive.
Sometimes I have a lot of questions which they handle in stride!
My husband and I gave them 5 stars because we had no doubts about bringing out of state guests there. They absolutely loved the whole experience. Jan and Russ

Super good... had the crab salad sandwich and onion rings... the onion rings were nice and big.. cooked to perfection..

Tonight was my first time eating here. The food was delicious and the service excellent. It's a very friendly and family oriented atmosphere. I will definitely go back again!

If your looking for a nice Cozy place for an early dinner; Gibneys is just the place though only one waitress she is beyond fanominal. She is very well interactive with her customers as well as her respectfulness towards COVID-19 guidelines. On top of that the food is at one a great price, and two, it's very very good quality food.
My recommendation is that this spot though on a high mountain area is a wonderful place to go with family for an earlier dinner.
I recommend dining in around 4:30-5pm they close at 7.

So most definitely stop in and give this restaurant some business guys I leave my honest opinions and I have started coming here every Wednesday because the hospitality is so gracious and open armed welcoming. ☺☺

Great home made food.

Coming back from a hike in Raymondskill Falls, needed a meal. Nothing on the GPS sounds good... So we are driving and this place pops up.

OMG I'm glad we did.
Staff was friendly and funny.
Food was great, we both had burgers. MUSHROOM SWISS and the CHILI CHEESE BURGER even ordered some to take home.
That was the NASHVILLE CHICKEN SANDWICH.

Warm, happy atmosphere. Waitress was absolutely excellent! Food was so good, it was like being at home. Start to finish a great place to eat!

Reasonable prices for home style food. The place is nostalgic and homy. Just like Mom used to make. They even have small antiques on shelves to brose while you wait for your dinner.

Home cooking and delicious. A great place to relax and let someone else do the work. Enjoyed most thoroughly.

Always great food. Go there all the time! My wife loves the meatloaf, I am partial to the stuffed cabbage and hamburger steak.
