I have graduated from both the Phlebotomy and Medical assistant programs at the Scranton campus, absolutely love the staff ! Beginning Nursing program in couple months, couldn't be more excited! The support you receive from staff during your study period is incredible! Love Fortis!!!

Small campus with personalized instruction. Instructors who care and treat students with respect.[ Those instructors who do not meet benchmarks are asked to leave]. Fortis keeps the instructors who are passionate about their major--it could be in Nursing, Medical Assisting, Massage, Dental Hygiene, Phlebotomy, Billing & Coding. Check out the campus sometime--you will be happy that you did!

Maddy is very good at her profession. An overall pain free experience from her ability.

omg I almost did it!!!! I almost started classes here. Wow I dodged a bullet. Something just didn't sit right....I am so sorry you all have such scary stories. I guess its back to the old drawing board for me...

Honestly, the massage therapy program was one of the worse I have experienced in this institution. They advertised quality education and support for you to be successful instead my group had only one instructor for the 8th month program, some of the materials were very old, the tests were confusing, their computers outdated, and even reaching out to directors or administrators was almost impossible. The practicum at the end of the program was done in a very small setting, the instructor had a tendency to be an emotionally unstable person, and the instructions were lacking motivation by the time everyone was doing their practicum. I should have read the reviews and take them into consideration. I wish I could go back and step out of this institution before going through their massage therapy program.

Run as fast as you can away from this school. They do not provide the tools or support any student needs. School administration does not address ongoing issues or complaints. They will continue to take your money,bleed you dry, and you will not have the tools you need to be successful. They deserve zero stars. Ask former students who have had to struggle and self teach because support is non existent. They have no accountability to the students and no integrity when dealing with the students. Keep a paper trail of evidence if you go there, you will need it ! I had to give 1 star to be able to post if not required I would give them zero. Shame on them !

I had a very bad experience. I had MS P as a teacher and she bullied me as well as students who weren't her FAVORITE. She picks on good students, give them unfair grades or even fail for any reason. I posted a review on Facebook and for some reason the fortis Scranton page deleted my review as well as blocking me from their page for posting an honest review? ( I did not Use ANY profanity in the review) I posted the review because I believe future students have the right to KNOW before attending. AVOID having classes with her. She also harassed my bf 1:00am on a Friday night after I posted the honest review. A lot of students have complained about her, the higher ups there will not listen to you they will be on her side. I transferred to a different campus and couldn't be happier. I paid extra out of my own pocket to transfer, it was worth it, I can't afford failing a class from her. Just beware.

If you are planning on enrolling here please do your research before doing so. I've been a student at this location and I can tell you that even though most teachers here are OK, this Institution is a scam and only cares about how much money they can get out of you. Their admissions representative did a fenomal job convincing me to enroll there since the enrollment itself was very smooth. By the time I realized how bad the school was it was already late so, don't make the same mistake. First of all, the tuitions are overpriced. They charge you way more than an actual college for the same programs. For example 60k for the Dental Hygiene program. They force you to wear their poor quality uncomfortable scrubs. You can't choose your own schedule, you have to follow theirs even if it changes after each mod. Your credits are non-transferable, meaning they are useless outside this school. On top of that if you were to fail a class, you would have to wait 6 months to continue where you left off with another group. Some of the classes that I took were so irrelevant to my program that I didn't even got to use the books for those classes. Most scholarships are not accepted there. You would think that with all the money you are being charged on your tuition you wouldn't have to worry about paying for anything else but, the truth is they HIGHLY encourage you to pay for extra stuff here and there to improve your education such as tools, trips, prep tests etc. Some classrooms don't even have windows which interferes with your phone's data. The cafeteria no one uses it because it's literally a room with windows this time lol. Their Wi-Fi is unreliable, so don't count on internet while you are there. I have heard from other students about their misfortunes but this is what I have experienced myself. I understand the school is a business and all but, the price is not worth it. The funny thing is that they put A LOT of energy into students referring more people into their program so that the new students can succumb to the failures of this institute.
