Snyder's Furniture

First time ordering with Snyder's. We liked their selection on the outdoor poly wood furniture. Spoke to Dennis over the phone, answered my questions and emailed helpful information to visual possible color combinations. We met with Dennis on Saturday, he was very patient helping and guiding us. We replaced all of our weathered and chipped metal screenhouse furniture with beautiful durable poly wood furniture. We are very excited and can't wait for delivery!!!

I love this company! I placed an order for the first time with them and they delivered what they promised when they promised it. The furniture arrived when I was told it would. The delivery was smooth as well. I did noticed later in the evening that I was missing a chair and reached out to customer service right away. They responded by telling me I was correct and that I would be contacted once the new chair was ready for shipment. I was contact by the delivery company to let me know when the reminding chair would be delivered. I received my chair today, yay! Very pleased with this company. I will definitely order from them again. I have order other items from local vendors and items have never been on time. Best to order straight from the makers. Yes, it takes a bit since the items are custom but they will arrived when you are told. I would recommend this company.

I ordered a custom piece and it was a Wonderful experience. Staff was very helpful and responsive. My cabinet is perfect. Very well made and beautiful!! I highly recommend Snyder’s furniture!!

We were interested in purchasing quality furniture made by the Amish and so, even though Amish furniture is available in FL, we traveled to PA to see what we could find. Snyder's had great reviews so it was first on our list of stores to visit. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection. We have a 6-8 week wait for our furniture, so will update this post after delivery. Thank you, Jason!

This is long overdue. I have purchased furniture from Snyders for two decades - and have always been happy with what I bought. The highlight of the whole years of buying is a dining room set - table and 6 chairs - shipped to UTAH, of all places - arriving in perfect condition, and still looking wonderful after all these years. At that time, it was John and Minnie who helped me - and my tour groups - many, many times. Thanks Snyders !

Friendly staff, quick shipping considering handmade Amish furniture. Can't say enough about the quality of the furniture. Purchased 6 dining room chairs and went back for bar stools. Highly recommend

Jason, the salesman was very helpful, very friendly and personable. We went to Snyder’s knowing what we wanted. He pointed us in the right direction and then left us alone, which we really appreciated. When we did have questions, Jason answered them quickly and completely. The web site was also very good, easy to use and accurate (some items on web site were not displayed in store). We highly recommend Snyder’s and are looking forward to our furniture being delivered in a few months.

Entered the showroom and was immediately greeted by a friendly staff. They found what I was looking for. They printed out information for me. I left and said I would be in contact. No hassle, no hard sell. Returned in 3 minutes and bought the furniture piece. Hand made special order. Will be delivered in 8 weeks. Great price and better service.

I loved working with Eileen & Pete!!! They were very patient with me & my specific (crazy) needs for a small NYC apartment. Pete kept me laughing while figuring this all out.
I had been working with another larger company (who shall not be named). They are very nice but, when they failed to communicate with me, I started looking elsewhere and found Snyders. They are a smaller family business that is actually located near the Amish builders. I loved the fact that, if necessary , they could swing by the builder (who does not have a phone) if there was a problem.
I feel very lucky to have found them.
I will update after I receive my custom built coffee table.

My complaint is regarding customer service and scheduling delivery.
After twenty weeks two regular chairs were delivered by mistake instead of the recliners. The rest of the $6,000+ order was correct. I called and spoke to customer service and they said they would get back to me. I waited an hour and called back again. Fortunately, I had my original receipt. After three hours speaking to multiple customer service representatives, Snyders is now ordering the recliners but I have to wait another 20 weeks for delivery. I am concerned that the color shade of the new recliners may be off from the ottomans since they are made in a different lot. Customer service denied that the color might be off. I also have to return the chairs that were delivered when the recliners arrive. They refused to make any financial compensation for the mistake and stated it was the Amish company's mistake. From the customer's point of view, the transaction should be seamless between Synder's partners. I should not have to hear who's mistake it was. I don't feel fully compensated for this error nor do I feel that Snyder's values me as a customer.

Also, once the furniture was ready, I was not given sufficient notice nor able to schedule the delivery date. I was notified via email on a Friday that the furniture would be delivered the following Monday. I was able to contact the delivery team who agreed to a 6:30 pm delivery time. (Not sure what would have happened if I had been away and not seen the email.) When notifying Snyder's of the frustration, they stated that this is the furniture delivery company.

It is unfortunate because the furniture is beautiful, but I don't think I will do business with Snyder's again. I don't feel they value me as a customer on a very large purchase. You're only as strong as your weakest link.

We were looking for well constructed quality wood furniture and definitely found this at Snyder’s. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Eileen and Peter spent time with us and explained and showed us the different items patiently. We decided on a book case ands hope chest that are simply incredible. The workmanship is outstanding and can be found today in very few furniture. The price was good and to say we are pleased and highly recommend Snyder’s is an understatement. Will definitely return and look for more great items.

*Edit* - Despite some lengthy delays and issues getting a status on my order, after posting a previous poor review Travis at Snyder's reached out, apologized and helped get my ordered completed. It may have taken a bit longer than I hoped to get my issues resolved but I was satisfied with the resolution and final promises kept by management. Our furniture was delivered today and we love it. Can't wait to buy from Snyder's again!

What an incredible store. We were able to find the exact glider we wanted to order for the outside of our home.
In addition, we found an amazing half circle table for photos in a mid century style that we love!
Everything here is such incredible quality and the service is second to none.
Pete Blumenthal, the store manager is a real delight. Our cousins are working with him now and we are all so thrilled that we made the trip from Delaware.
All in all a perfect experience!

I found Snyder’s Furniture online because I was in search of a toy box for my granddaughter. Although they did not have the styles in stock that were posted on their website, I was able to find one even prettier in the color I liked along with a matching rocker! I wanted solid quality and Snyder’s delivered! My granddaughter will have these pieces for years to come and in time, the toy box is so lovely that it can serve as a hope chest! Amazing quality for the price! It was well worth the hour drive!
In addition, the sales staff was very helpful and easily directed me to the items I was looking for.

We were looking for a fairly unique piece of furniture and we finally found just what we needed at Snyder's. Pete, the store manager, offered helpful advice and helped us tremendously in arriving at our final selection. We will definitely be repeat customers the next time we have a need for furniture.
