Having lived in cdale I had never been to this spot. Stopped in for a drink and was pleasantly surprised. It has recently been taken over by a young gentleman who was very nice! I heard the food is great. Hoping he does well!

We went there after seeing the open sign a few days ago and the two girls inside couldn't have been nicer. The wings were perfectly cooked and burgwr was great. We will definitely be back.

Legitimately one of the best burgers in the area. The wings are also great. This is one of the best places to go in Carbondale for food. Friendly staff, great prices, and good service. You won't be disappointed.

This is a hidden gem in the town of Carbondale. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere in here. The food is amazing and the chef really loves what he does. They do a trivia night which I didn't participate in personally, but I had so much fun just drinking coffee and having dinner while listening to the trivia night take place. Eric personally comes up with all of the questions and is interactive with all of the customers. I recommend trying the Guinness stew , it's out of this world!! I left there full and with a smile on my face! This is the kind of place you can bring the whole family. I highly recommend The Chip & Stone!

Excellent place. We just found this place on our drive to Lakewood. The food was amazing. we tried two different flatbreads and both were great. Wings with hot sauce was awesome as well. My wife enjoyed nice hot Chicken noodle soup

Service was amazing, staff was friendly. The chef himself came out to ask about the food. Live entertainment and fun place.

This place was a gem! We stopped in for the first time. Food was amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and warm! Trivia was a blast! We are so happy we found this place and will definitely be back. Again, the service is top notch and the owner is super friendly! I ended up getting the Irish trio which was a special. The shepherds pie is really tasty. Would highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Irish food and a great atmosphere.

I had the delicious Shepherd's Pie Pierogi. And my friend had the Irish Mac and Cheese. She said it was the best she ever had. And I can't say enough about the peanut butter pie. 😋 The service was great and the waitresses, owners and the chef are very warm and welcoming. And Trivia Night was loads of fun.

This place is fantastic! The owners are so welcoming and treat you like old friends. They have created a fabulous place to eat, drink and have fun. The food is delicious. Anything with the house made Irish cheese sauce is a MUST, BUT save room for the homemade desserts! Plenty of cold beer on tap and not overpriced. The staff are all so friendly! The bathrooms are clean AND they stock the ladies room with items you might have a need for in a pinch- which is a detail I think should be applauded.

Vibrant, cozy pub with shockingly good shepherd’s pie.
My wife and I came early evening before a ski day for a few pints of smithwick’s and guinness, and ended up staying through a trivia night! The staff were incredibly welcoming - at the end of trivia both owners offered drive us half a mile down the road to Hotel Anthracite just to avoid a frigid walk - and we loved the energy from all the regulars enjoying their Friday night.
A+ for food, friendliness, and good vibes.

Decided to try this "hidden gem" and wasn't disappointed. Settled on an off road of Route 6 you could definitely pass by it, missing a great new restaurant!

I ordered the seafood chowder and hot wings when I made my visit. Both items were great with the chowder being OUT OF THIS WORLD! It was really creamy and well seasoned and had decent sized chunks of seafood in it. The wings were perfectly crispy and not soggy with a great sauce that wasn't thick and messy.

The interior is clean and modern for a small Irish pub and sports bar. Service was quick and wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back here again. Don t miss out and try this place for yourself!

First time there for dinner and "drink and think" night which is a trivia with a twist game. Food was top rate, prices were reasonable, the trivia game was entertaining for all! Excellent atmosphere and we will be returning again soon!

We stopped in to check out the new bar and have some dinner. My husband and I ordered a stuffed burger with side salad, fish and chips, and seafood chowder.

The chowder was absolutely fantastic! We will definitely come back for this. My husband said his fries were delicious and I enjoyed my burger stuffed with jalapenos and mozzarella cheese. I was pleasantly surprised with the side salad too. It was fresh romaine salad, not cheap iceberg lettuce, and the Cesar dressing was perfect.

The atmosphere was welcoming and everything looks well put together. The staff was friendly, and served with a smile, which isn't common around this area. We definitely recommend locals and travelers check this place out. You won't be disappointed.
