My family and I had a great time here! So many fun things to see and do. We attended their Fall day. Reenactment, crafts, blacksmith were our favorites.

Visited during the 50th Annual Harvest Festival. So much to see and do. The museum itself is huge. Fun for all ages.

Janice was such a good tour guide and gave us a bunch of history of the place. Then she left us alone to investigate by ourselves. The Museum is well kept for its visitors and spirit residents. They host several events throughout the year as well.

Enormous farmhouse with an incredible collection of artifacts. There is so much to look at and learn. The staff and reinactors were very friendly and knowledgeable of the history. We can't wait to come back.

This place is amazing. Went for a Paranormal Investigation and this is a place we would revisit! The spirits here did things we have never seen!

It is truly amazing all that Matters has done with the museum in the past few years. This year's Harvestfest was great. Good vendors and entertainment. Stop by and see the history of Greene County. Keep up the good work!

I cannot truly begin to explain how well this has been restored. And restored is probably a lack of a better term. They have the actual original furniture and pieces that were to this building. From going from a place that was almost abandoned and given up on to a place that and affluent family would be proud to call a home! The manager was an outstanding gentleman and a scholar. This is absolutely a must stop if not to admire the genuine hard work put in, but to meet him for a conversation!

Not sure if the museum is open year round, but the Harvest Festival in the Fall is very nice. This year it was complete with lots of vendors, good food, and Civil War Reenactment! The museum houses all kinds of historical items from the beginning of our County and the early periods of this Country, along with a little gift shop with lots of neat books about the area and the coal sculptures were my favorite!

I rented the barn as a 7th birthday party venue and it was perfect for our carnival theme. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was great! Definitely one of the most unique parties I've hosted and I will, without a doubt, be calling them to book again.

Absolutely wonderful! Tons of artifacts and lots of history. It's a fun place to visit for a few hours. Just be careful if you have a little one, because many of the artifacts are out in the open.

Such an amazing place. You could go here daily and still find something you've never seen before. Look for their many different events. The native American ones are like non ive ever been too. Worth the trip and hope to have many more.
