Lots of fisherman, boaters and kayakers there the day we went. It's just a neat place to see.

The Nebraska Bridge was very unique an seeing all the debris on the Bridge knowing that the Bridge gets flooded on a regular basis. As I looked to the sign that said 13ft 3in clearance I noticed above that at the top of the Bridge which was another 5 or 6 feet, there was a bunch of sticks an branches hanging out of the top which I hear that it happens an the Bridge is underwater for a day to week or even a month throughout the year. There is a gate at the end we entered an it is closed if it is under water otherwise its open. I was told by locals they have a Facebook page to find out if the Bridge is open to pass or not. Its call Is the Nebraska Bridge open. They say that its posted an they try to keep it updated. Next time we go im hoping to get to see it underwater.

It's not just a bridge! Google the history of this bridge! After heavy rain in the area, you never know if you'll be able to cross it. The US Army Corps of engineers will hold back water to prevent flooding in other areas which will flood the area where this bridge crosses. Sometimes it will completely submerge the bridge so only the very top is visible!

Great area to kayak.. spent a couple hours out on the kayak. Launched at the bridge and went a mile and quarter upstream before it was too shallow. Of course water levels vary all the time but today was a good day. 😁. Beautiful and quiet back there.

Interesting to see. First time we went everything was under water. Next time we went we were able to drive over the bridge.

This is a beautiful place to go for a day and view the scenery and it has some good fishing around the bridge too. Fortunately, I was able to go when the creek was low, so it was able to be seen and admired for it's beauty, but I would love to go see it when it is under the water too. I definitely want to go back many more times. I wasn't able to do it with my family yet, but I've also heard this is a good spot to go kayaking. There is even a little boat launch.

Great landmark to visit and especially a place to take out of town guests. We love to point out the tree limbs and debris that remain on the top of the bridge structure from it's most recent flood. People are always amazed that a bridge of that size could be covered that far under water. A very visual experience. It's also free!

We parked and sleep in the parking of Nebraska bridge pennsylvania because we're from florida taking a trip to Pennsylvania with our german shepherd. Nice and quiet place and you can go to the bridge for fishing!

Good kayak launch site. Take care in shallow areas, if using peddle driven kayaks. Less people than launching at marina.

The Pennsylvania Dept of Transportation no longer maintains this bridge. I drove across it once, highly unlikely I'd do at again. My grandmother was born here. A few stone foundations still exists. The history of this now unincorporated settlement and the area is well documented. It is south of the Tionesta Dam. When they let water out and or storms going through the water has been known to get quite deep. Like can only see top of bridge deep. Stay on paths, be aware as there are things that crawl that would hurt you.

The bridge that's too tough to tame. It's noted for the pretty much yearly flooding with the bridge being partly and sometimes totally submerged from flood waters.
