Hat's Heroes

If you're hungry and want good food at a decent price, Hat's is the place to go. A variety of soups daily. Subs and sandwiches hit the spot with a side of fries or cheddar cheese spudz. Their hoagie bread is pillowy soft. I like they have combo meal options. I've never had a bad meal. I think they're a hidden gem of Chambersburg.

Nice neighborhood deli / take out. Does have seating. Good soups , subs. Open til seven p.m. weekdays so good alternative to stop on the way home from work if too tired to cook. Nice professional owner. Place is very clean. Plenty of street parking.

Nice, clean kept restaurant. Friendly staff! For as small as the restaurant looks, it is actually pretty spacious. So I definitely recommend coming here if you like crab meat and more!! Absolutely delicious

My kids love to stop here after school for snacks before sports activities- they enjoy it a lot and apparently devour more food than o realize 😉

All I have to say is cream of crab soup!!! Food is amazing and homemade.

Literally a hidden gem of a sub shop, it's so good and their menu options are surprisingly huge despite the local shop's size. Food was great the fries are amazing. 10 out of 10

the owner is very nice. there is a sweet young girl still in school who is behind the register, who will see that your order is fast and delicious. Great mom and pop establishment

I ate dinner here yesterday. I am a school bus driver who brought musselman high school students to chambersburg high. The owner welcomed me in for a break and company. I felt like I was at home. Very nice place and wonderful people. I will definitely recommend to anyone who has a trip out that way or is just visiting. Thank you for welcoming me. It was a very nice break.

Visiting from out of town, I told my friend: I just want a GOOD hoagie. Well, hero or hoagie or sub - whatever you call it - he brought me here. I am glad he did - it is a very unassuming exterior and location EXCEPT!!! THE HAT! Not only is the food really good and fresh (I got my 12" sandwich) - but this place doubles as a roadside attraction. A giant baseball hat serves as the awning. WINNING>

Echoing what others have said - staff couldn't be more lovely, soup super good (I had the stuffed pepper soup -never heard of it before - now want a recipe).

ANd...a team of highschool boys came in as we were leaving. I figure if local teens are in a place - that is an unspoken endorsement.

Next time I am in Cburg......

Best freshest subs and more in Chambersburg/Fayetteville area. We've tried from all and hands down Hat"s Hero's is consistently deliveres the most delicious subs.

Service is always so so friendly & professional. Food is so filling & always fresh. Atmosphere is always good as well. & they deliver! Love this shoppe!

This is a great place for a sandwich or sub. Also they make the best cream of crab soup I've ever ate.
