Philadelphia Runner (Glen Mills)

My son runs track for Garnet Valley HS l and needed shoes for his season. He said he had a great experience and they fitted him properly. He enjoyed the experience in shopping there by himself and felt confident that they helped him get a proper shoe for his feet.

I went in to Philadelphia runner to be fitted for shoes to work out. It was an easy process because the representative was knowledgeable about fitting and really helped find the right fit. I’ve been working out for two weeks without any feet issues. Thank you for that!

This was our third trip in and each one was met with friendly, helpful assistance. Even though I was unable to find the sneakers I originally wanted, they were able to help me find a comfortable pair I am happy with.

I had a great experience with PR in Glen Mills! My sneakers had to be transferred from one of their other locations, they arrived exactly when I was told, when I went to pick them up, Tyler was so friendly and polite! This is how a retail experience should feel!!

Great experience with Tyler. He was able to assist me in getting some awesome shoes. He helped my wife get some shoes and when she wasn’t happy with the first pair - Tyler was able to return and order her a new pair. Tyler also helped my daughter get a pair of new sneakers as well.

Having gotten great mileage out of my 2-year old Asics it was time for a new pair of running shoes. I visited the Glenn Mills location and after trying on several differing shoes, ended up purchasing Hoka and a Mizuno running shoes. So far I've only run in the Hoka's and am really happy with them.

Chris was very helpful in finding the right shoe. And when the first pair I bought was not quite right for my feet after a couple weeks of wear, I was able to return them for a different brand. My feet are now happy and so am I thanks to Chris!

My wife and I stopped in to scope out some new walking/running shoes and we're so glad we did. Michael was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He was quickly able to figure out exactly what types of shoes and insoles we needed and guided us through the entire process. Absolutely check this place out if you're in the market for any kind of athletic shoe.

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful my feet feel. I had one of the best experiences yesterday. Mike put me in a pair of 860’s from New Balance. He knew what would work for me, what to avoid, and he even knew his $h!t when it comes to socks! I will never ever ever EVER go anywhere else for footwear.

I’m not a runner, but I wanted professional help when it came to replacing my 10-year-old Brooks that literally were falling apart. Staff were great, measured my feet and evaluated my gait, and gave me several options to try. Ended up going with Brooks again. Great service, great shoes. Thank you!

We were visiting family and I forgot my sneakers and was dying. They were so helpful - I got a great new pair along with recovery flips which are amazing. I told them about all my injuries and they found me the perfect shoes - something I have been trying to do on my own for years. Excellent service and great products. Could not be happier! I love shopping at the Glen Mills store! Colin is the best to work with. He is so knowledgeable and patient. Every time I've been there, he measures, checks my gait and recommends sneakers based on what's going on at that moment. He originally recommended Brooks brand to me but I was not happy with changes they made to their shoes, so I switched to New Balance. I'm not really crazy with the color of the shoes I just bought. I really wanted black uppers to hide the dirt but there were none available in my size. Colin took the time to check everywhere for them. I've always been more than satisfied with my experience there.

Not a huge shoe selection but a decent one. Motivated, friendly staff, most of whom are knowledgeable. I've even seen injured runners come here for unofficial medical "opinions," so you can believe the staff has authenticity in running and related sports.

Back in early September, 2021, I walked into this store in search of a particular shoe. I explained that I was in the beginning of the process.
They di not have the shoe. However, the sales associate showed me a few other styles. I did not make a decision and left then store. Because the associate was so helpful, I knew that before I made a purchase that I would return.

Recently, I returned and purchased a pair of shoes.

They are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.

I love this store! I have been coming here for at least 5 years and buying my walking shoes. I also get my Oofos flips here. Just bought my second pair! They are my go-to shoes when my feet hurt. Absolutely amazing how any pain goes away when I start wearing them.

I'm new to running and an experienced friend told me to seek out a running store to get properly fitted for shoes. I visited this knowing nothing, and claimed as much. Colin greeted me and asked me about my experience, goals, etc.

The fitting process was excellent. They watch how you walk, take care to measure your feet and then present you with options. You don't walk in here asking for a brand, it's fit first! I like it.

Overall a fantastic experience with very knowledgeable team members. They are very welcoming to newcomers and novices. I look forward to my next visit.

I went to this store with a need of new shoes for daily work on my feet at a doctors office. The salesperson, Catharine, really listened to my needs and worked with me to find the perfect fit. In addition, she watched me walk on the treadmill to confirm that we had found what I needed. She was so pleasant to work with and there was no pressure from her to purchase the shoes. The shoes are great and I will return to this store in the future..
