Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

who knew that one of the best smash burgers you can get is from a chain spot? I love Freddy’s. The burgers are amazing, and it’s super unpretentious. In fact I think a meal is cheaper than Mcdonald’s. Shoestring fries are great, you can swap them for other items such as a cheese curd. Shakes are great too.

It's a tasty little greasey burger with super thing fries and a concrete thick milk shake. The atmosphere is lively and it has an old school vibe to it. On one hand it feels like an upgraded McDonald's and on the other it feels like a legendary visit you'll remember forever. Worth the experience for sure but with daily usage you'll be 400 pounds. Place was packed!

So easy, used the drive through. It was quick, a great value and very yummy! We got Strawberry & Chocolate shakes, delicious, and the burger combo (double cheeseburger & shoestring fries) was really great! My husband enjoyed the cheese curds, but that's just not my thing and we also split a few onion rings which were great! Overall, service & food were excellent, it looked very clean and well organized inside (view from the drive through) and was a great value for a quick meal. I'll definitely be back again!

If you're a big fan of greasy delicious burgers than this is it, the one and only, Freddy's. The burgers are relatively inexpensive for what you are getting.

Be sure to use their rewards app, as it pays dividends quickly.

Freddy's will often change their specialty burger, as well. It's a nice variety from time to time.

Took the family here for a early dinner, the service was great the food was good and hot. If you have sodium issues I'd recommend staying away from the fries but aside from that I enjoyed it.

Great Customer Service Very Energetic And Fast Team And Very Polite Took Them 4-5 Minutes To Make 2 Meals And 1 Shake Fresh Very Clean As Well.

This place has the BEST hotdogs in town, you would be missing out if you haven’t tried them. Their milkshakes are very delicious, best food in town with friendly staff who keep the place clean.

This place never disappoints! Great burgers and fries. You have to try the Famous Fry Sauce, delicious! We have never had a bad experience here. Staff is super friendly and efficient, truly a treat!

The thin crispy burgers are really good, staff is kind, and the turtle sundae is huge and delicious!

If you love fast, great tasting, sloppy steak burgers, Freddy's is your place. Much better than the worn our fare at McD's, Wendy's and BK.

This has to be the best bugger and onion rings I’ve ever had. I inhaled the Burger and the onion rings were not too far behind. Great place to grab ice cream too.

The patty melt steakburgers are really good, with sauteed onions, and if you have more then one person have the chili cheese fries, and finish with one of their custard ice creams.

My new go to Burger place. Fries are a pain to eat. But the Burgers and shakes are fantastic. Love this place. If you never been there you need to give it a try, if you like Burgers you won't be disappointed.

Went here for a cousins birthday get together over the weekend. The burger I had was outstanding and everyone in the party had no complaints about what they ordered. Next I will have to try the hot dog cause everyone was giving high praise for them.

I never actually have been in Freddie's just through the drive through. They truly have the best burgers in the area I don't know how long they've been there but this 2023 smer is the first time I ever tried them. To think all those years I wasted eating McDonald's and Burger King! I wish I had known what I was missing I'll never eat fast food from the golden mile again... I'm driving to broomall! There was only one thing I could possibly say negatively about the service. The last time I went through I asked the girl for a piece of the key lime pie. She charged me for the whole pie! When I exclaimed omgoodness how much does that sliver of pie cost? It better be the best freakin pie I ever ate! Sh replies, OH you wanted a piece of pie? I charged you for the whole pie! She fixed it, brings the price down 5 bucks but then she started handing me the food! First the drink, the bag of burgers and Fry's (I think there were Fry's) then she hands me what I think is a handful of napkins but as I bring it through the window it squishes in my hand... I bring it closer to see what it was and all these crumbs go all over my beige Buick Lacern and I MEAN EVERYWHERE! MOW I HAVE TO GET MY CAR DETAILED BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A CORDLESS VACUUM AND I DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO AN OUTLET WHERE I LIVE AND THE PIE PART SQUISHED OUT TOO AND I DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO RUNNING WATER OUTSIDE AND CANT CARRY THE BUCKET UP AND DOWN SO BASICALLY THAT PIECE OF KEY LIME PIE IS COSTING ME OVER 200$ 😭. Technically it's not her fault, this poor thing had no clue what she was doing and shouldn't have been left alone to serve customers by herself! Obviously! Except for the one service glitch I had, you most likely won't! I never had any issues before!!!!

I have never been to freddy's before today. As i was debating with my self to rank it, i thought would i go back? And i answered yes. So its worth 5 stars. If i would be willing to return somewhere because i enjoyed it that much.
The menus are, to my opinion, kinda layed out weird. So it took a min to look up, down, and across it all.
The dine in area... wasn't exactly being "cleaned" but i wont fault the establishment. There were alot of teenagers there. Seems like it might be a weekend hang out place for people. Which is probably a positive for the neighborhood.
The food... the food was good. They do that smashed meat style; which might be someone's preference. But it had great taste to it! They do the very thin/skinny fries. They have a "fry sauce" you can get; and that was really good.. even when added on the burger.
They also have ice cream. You can do sundays, shakes,... or some weird in between thing.

So all in all. The food is really good. I would recommend

03/25/22 update: there are a large number of teenagers that work here. Do with that information as you wish

08/18/23 update: i guess I've continued coming back for a while now. Still alot of teens. And it seems crowded alot of the time

04/12/24 update: really seems like a hang out for local high schoolers. But its take out so you dont have to hang out with them.

Very friendly, great customer service. We had the burgers and the chili dog. I enjoyed the burger with the shoestring fries. We are not that close by but will definitely be returning, I gotta try a frozen custard 😁 the best part of my experience here was the customer service, that is key to me. I loved how everyone was friendly in there. Good job team. Team work makes the dream work!!!
