Courtyard by Marriott Hershey Chocolate Avenue

A great place to stay, very close to the Chocolate World. Very well maintained!!! Breakfast is available but it’s al carte, which may not work well for most travelers. Rest all assured, this is one good place to stay!!!

Wonderful stay after tiring visit at the park. Clean hotel, neat sheets and bathroom.
Good breakfast, not free, was told that some Marriott hotels have free breakfast but not this one. They sell Starbucks coffee in case you are a fan 🙂

Fridge and microwave are small. Be creative on how you put all of those water bottles and left over foods.

The only reason I gave rooms a 4 was due to the fact a pipe burst over our room and the neighboring room. Water started leaking in through the overhead AC unit. Our front desk attendant (apologies, I can't remember her name) handled the situation quickly getting us into a new room immediately and also providing complementary breakfast for the inconvenience. She was on top of the entire situation and made the transition as easy as possible.

The Courtyard in Hershey is a great place to stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a problem with our first room because the thermostat wasn’t working. I called and asked to switch rooms but they said they didn’t have other rooms available, but would send their maintenance person to investigate.

The gentleman was very thorough with his investigation and really took his time to try and resolve the problem. Ultimately he called to the front desk and said we needed to be switched rooms.

This is where the 1 star is docked, when I initially called, they said they were full and had no other rooms available… but when their maintenance person said we needed to be moved, suddenly a room opened up. I would’ve appreciated just being honest in their communication with me and telling me they would like to see if they can fix it first before moving me. I would completely understand that. But don’t lie to me and tell me there are no rooms available…

Overall, it was a great experience. The stay was perfect. Rooms were clean. Beds comfortable. Location perfect for where we needed to be.

Don't usually review hotels. The manager caused me to do so at this one. Really nice guy. Made you feel like you were staying as a guest at his house and wanted to make sure you were happy. Rest of the staff I interacted with was really nice too. Room was clean and was a neat layout. Felt more expensive than it was. It is off the main drag so a bit quiter but not so far as to be a pain to get places. Car or uber for transportation not a ton to walk to but for my needs excellent.

The room was clean, amenities great, but the real star of the show was Maialani (I might have that wrong) she checked us in and had us in stitches. The folks who checked us out in the morning were also great. And the girl running circles in the coffee bar was a delight. Will absolutely be returning.

I mean just the best. Greeted upon entry, given water and cookies, lobby is warm and welcoming, beautifully designed, has a Starbucks, pool, gym, laundry...I didn't want to leave! Our room was clean and I felt safe staying there, meaning it was sanitized properly. Our room was a queen with a pull out couch which is so convenient. Bed was comfortable and we had enough towels and toilet paper for the three days that we were there. Recycling bin in the room is awesome! Also had a microwave and teeny fridge and I love the fact that I can watch Netflix on the television!

When I am visiting the Penn State Cancer Institute and I need a place to stay that is comfortable and feels as nice as home, I stay at the Marriott Hershey Chocolate Avenue. The rooms are big, the bathrooms are nice and modern. The reception area and coffee station is nice. Much appreciated.

Was initially hesitant about staying here because of the reviews about cleanliness. Got there, the room, and bath room were clean, modern and comfortable. Didn't have any problems with the cleanliness at all. The staff was very friendly, greeting everyone with a smile and friendly hotel. The front desk was always managed, and the clerk made sure that we were happy with the stay. Didn't get to use many of the amenities, but it looked like a nice pool area, and courtyard with fire pit. Had breakfast in the hotel one morning, prepared quickly. The barista who made my drinks made sure that I was pleased with them. They were good. A little pricey on breakfast, but it's to be expected in a resort hotel.
The hotel was at the end of downtown Hershey, close to the attractions and easy to get in and out of.
Only downside was low water pressure in the shower. And the shower / bathroom is quite large, so the bathroom didn't get very warm.

Great hotel and kept very clean, the mattress was comfortable the linens are very clean. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The gentleman working the front desk was extremely personable and even helped us pick a restaurant that was fantastic. I prefer only staying at Marriott or Hilton hotels and this one beat my expectations. I’m also a Bonvoy Silver or something member if that matters. We stay in their hotels often.

We took our grandchildren to Hershey PA and stayed at this Courtyard by Marriott in Hershey. The service was excellent. The assistant GM Dee Brown was exceptional. I run a medical practice and customer service is so important. Upon arriving the room that I was supposed to have with additional bedding for our grandchildren was not noted in the reservation or available. The check in employee ask for the manager on duty and then I met Dee. She resolved the situation immediately as well as trained the employee how to handle on her own. Great management mentoring. I will always stay at this Marriott when planning additional trips to Hershey.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting HersheyPark. Our room was large and comfortable for a family of 4.

We had two queen size beds plus desk and chair TV, fridge, microwave and so on. The bathroom was a nice size and plenty of towels. However there is NO continental breakfast as most hotels offer there is a Star Bucks and all they have is coffee, muffins and juice but that just don't cut it as a breakfast. Its better than nothing at all some people can skip breakfast I can't🤔☕🍩

Stayed at the Courtyard for three nights with my family. Simply amazing! Very friendly staff, clean rooms, perfectly functioning AC 👍🏻 ideal location, two minutes away from town and three minutes away from Hershey Park! Loved the stay and would very much recommend it. Five stars ⭐👍🏻

It was just my husband and I on a weekend getaway. We spent the night in a decently large room with a king size bed and a shower for 2. We got a sandwich from downstairs and it was good. I would stay again. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

Stayed there for our Hershey Park visit. Very clean rooms and courteous staff. Best proximity to the park.
