Awesome staff, clean rooms at fantastic prices. I only stay when we have early doctors appointments but the three times I've stayed I felt safe staying as a female alone while my husband was in the ICU. Very close to the hospital and good breakfast included in the rate.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. The place wasn’t bad at all for a 2-star hotel. It was clean, staff was nice, the area where it is located is a quick in and out from the main road.
The furniture in the room was a bit outdated but I just needed a place to sleep so I really didn’t mind (no bed bugs!!!). Also, The complimentary breakfast was SO good!!
I highly recommend this place.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by our stay. Staff were extremely friendly, breakfast was good, the rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, shower pressure good. The Smokehouse across the street was amazing with staff able to accommodate a large group with separate checks.

We had a wonderful stay here . Our room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and most of all the staff here is professional, courteous and friendly. After an online billing error , Malvin quickly made the correction. He insisted that I verified the correction and insured my complete satisfaction. He is courteous and sincere. It was a pleasure interacting with him and and the BW staff. I will definitely stay here again.

I don't know why this place only rates a 3. My experience was excellent. The service was exceptional, the food was as good or better than most hotels. Our room was clean & comfortable. The best part was the price was more than fair. We stayed near the end of October 2023 for 3 day's.

This honestly feels like a best kept secret! Went with my husband, nephew and friends for a Hershey Park visit and it didn't disappoint! The hotel and room was very clean. The kids loved the outdoor pool! It was so chill and relaxing. The hotel also smelled AMAZING! Every time we entered the hallway we were taking deep breaths! The free included continental breakfast was great and the staff super friendly. There's coffee, tea and snacks available all the time and it was nice to just downstairs and grab something if you needed a warm beverage or little snack. The beds were comfortable and we slept like babies. Harry, the general manager greeted us and went out of his way to ensure we felt welcomed and had a great stay; and it made a world of difference!

The hotel is not very far from major attractions like Hershey Park, The Giant Center, and the Hershey Tanger Outlets. We also were very close to other eateries such as Pizza Hut, Bob Evans, and Mcdonald's, if that's your thing. If you're looking to visit any of these places, you're in for great value because so many of the neighboring hotels will charge you so much more. As someone who often visits that area in Pennsylvania from out of state, we definitely plan to return! Thank you Harry for making us feel like we had a home away from home!

Everything was good. If your lathered to visit Hershey Park perfect location. Priced was very reasonable. The owner was wonderful very friendly from the beginning. We are there with our tractor trailer and wanted to visit chocolate world, wasn't able to get a uber at the time he offered to give us a ride and told us if we couldn't get one back he'd come get us.
We will be back !

I thought I'd already left a review but it seems to have disappeared. ??? Anyway, this was a GREAT place to stay for our visit to HersheyPark. The location is just right. The beds, pillows, and sheets were super comfortable. The staff was friendly and thorough, and we felt as though the price we paid was fair. Of course we wish it was less, but you must pay what the market will bear. Breakfast is passable, the sausages are hot and plentiful but the eggs are powdered and after trying them once, something to pass up. But there are bagels, toast, yogurt, cereals and fruit. You'll be okay. :) The coffee was perfect.

This hotel was in a perfect location to everything we wanted to do in Hershey, PA. The pool was awesome, and the kids made a lot of great memories playing with other kids. The room was clean. Breakfast was not amazing, but pretty reasonable. What WAS fabulous was the staff. Young gentleman in the afternoon at check in and a young lady in the morning, as well as cleaning staff were very professional, friendly, and attentive. They went out of their way to assist my husband (who has a bad back) and got him extra pillows to make our stay more pleasant. There were some other questions and minor issues that were handled by them beautifully. I wish i remembered their names.

This hotel was clean and perfectly located. No it's not a 5 start hotel but it was clean and friendly. There was a decent selection for breakfast and they have a spot where you can get hot chocolate/tea/coffee anytime of the day.

Loved the stay here during my vacation to PA. It was very affordable and last minute. The lovely receptionist by the name of Tatiana squeezed me in during the middle of the night when she would be sure my room would be ready by 3 pm by the time I landed in PA the following morning. She was very attentive to the situation and was more than happy to help. The rooms were outdated but you get what you pay for I guess & overall the cleanliness and the free breakfast were okay. I would stay here again, thank you to your staff again!

Is this a 5 star hotel? No. Is this a 5 star hotel for what you pay for? Absolutely! And we didn't even get to use the pool because it was closed due to it being off season. Great location, great staff, room was large as was the TV. Only negative was the tiny toilet, so large people beware! All in all a great place to stay at while visiting the sweetest place on earth! Will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Stayed one night. Staff were so friendly, room was clean, bed was comfortable, pillows were nice and firm, breakfast was great, they even had my favorite coffee creamer French vanilla! Staff continually restocked the breakfast bar! My family and I will stay here again next time we come to Hershey! And I swear it smelled like chocolate in there!

The staff is amazing and my room wasn't terrible. The floor I am on is decently clean. Carpet could be updated. Greta went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. And for the price we paid it was worth it. Some things need updating but the office staff makes it worth the stay.

Very close to Penn State Health - Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. The rooms were very clean and breakfast options were surprisingly amazing. The most amazing thing about my stay was the hospitality and compassion David and Sue were so accommodating and generous in the process of my medical emergency. I can not say thank you enough for your help! When I come to visit for touristy things the gorgeous area has to offer, I will most definitely stay again.

We left the best western in Harrisburg and checked into this place...and boy did we wish we stayed here to begin with...great service...breakfast...location...smoked across the street is the best place to eat!! We loved this hotel! The pool ....everything and everyone

Had a wonderful stay at the Inn At Chocolate Ave! Front desk employees were friendly and made sure everything was ok with our stay. Greeted us everytime we walked by. The room was super clean and comfortable. Breakfast although crowded was good and the staff did a great job making sure everything was stocked up and clean. The location of the Inn is great close to everything!
After booking our family stay and then reading the reviews I was a little nervous. Thankfully the reviews were not accurate and we had a great stay.

For a very modest price the place was great. I had not noticed any indications for why this Inn was plagued with terrible reviews. This place was clean the staff was welcoming and they offered free breakfast that was even good. Somethings like the bathroom light switch did seem dated but it was all in working condition. The staff were down to earth and sweet. They allowed our dog and treated her as if she were another guest. We will most likely be staying there when we go back next time. I'd suggest giving them a shot if you are looking for a cozy stay and you would rather save your money for your trip. Thank you.
