Tru by Hilton Hershey Chocolate Avenue

Booked 2 rooms on Easter weekend. Without asking they were conjoined. Service was very friendly. Rooms were clean!
This is a GREAT family friendly hotel. From the food to the decor this is made for kids! The pool is open until 10pm despite the internet saying 8. Great value. As a mom of 4 I would come back for sure!!!

Overall this was a great stay. The hotel was newer and very contemporary/modern. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The location is odd as it's mixed in around homes and there is construction near by - sound is not an issue from construction. Definitely don't book for a view. Conveniently located right beside the Hershey Italian Lodge. The buffet breakfast was standard - eggs/sausage, cereal, toast/bagel. Would certainly stay again.

Good distance from Giants Center and Hershey attractions. Rooms aren't big, but if it's a weekend stay with a small family, it's do-able. Breakfast is decent - pancake maker, yogurt, granola, cereal, fruit, eggs, meat. Coffee/tea 24/7 with a ton of snacks and toiletries on sale at the front desk.
Food delivery apps delivery here quickly. Pool was frigid but my kid didn't mind. Definitely a kid/family friendly hotel.

Note to hotel: turn the news off sometimes 😩🤦🏾‍♀ I swear every year I stay here for States weekend in March and there's always news on the tv telling about some fatal car crash that took the lives of students 😭😭 Put on an animal documentary or something 😃😃

Very nice room, clean and well-appointed. We traveled with our dog and it was hassle free.

Like just about every new hotel these days, walls are thin and voices carry through bathroom vents. This seems like a great hotel if you are traveling with kids because the place was loaded with them. Big open lounge and gameroom, noisy with adults enjoying their beverages and kids running amuck. For some reason, hallways are for playing and socializing. The hotel staff do enforce quiet hours so it's all good.

Breakfast is included and absolutely incredible. Overall, great value, pleasant stay! Would come back again.

Stayed a few weeks ago and I love this hotel! Perfect for what my family needed. My son loved the pool and the foosball table. Corey, Hannah, Greg, Gary, Janette, Ali, and the rest of the staff were great. Definitely would stay again!

Best hotel stay I’ve had in a while. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. And shower pressure was perfect and I didn’t hear a peep from the road or anyone else in the hotel. Slept like a rock. 10/10

I love this hotel. The people are always so crazy friendly, the rooms are always nice and clean, and there is plenty of parking. I can't say enough about the people working here. They're awesome.

The Tru Hilton Hotel is a good hotel to stay and it’s clean! This hotel is located in a quiet area which is great. The staff is great! Also I would like to recognize Mr. Theo who works at the hotel this young man has great work ethics good communication and he is respectful. He took care of my reservation over the phone and had my room ready when I arrived early on the same day. I greatly appreciate Theo thank you for your help! 11-12-2023

We stayed overnight to enjoy the Park during the holidays. This place was great! Highly recommend anyone with kids and dogs. It was super clean, fun, and had a great location. The staff was amazing! They were ALL very friendly and accomodating to our special needs. Andrew, Nate, Ronald and Theo were wonderful. The nearby Italian Lodge had awesome food. Breakfast at Tru was complimentary and very nice. The 5th floor had a nice view and at night could see the Christmass lights. St Joan of Arc Cathedral closeby. We def will come back here. Thanks everyone for making our stay perfect!

Wonderful service! We stayed here and right away the staff were super friendly and the environment felt very low key and more modern. The design of the hotel felt super new and very accommodating to kids. The lobby was always playing Disney channel and the pool was nice and clean. The room was clean and comfortable, we even had a view of the Hershey park rides from our window! The breakfast was super unique they had a pancake machine that was hands free and all types of toppings. We left dead in the night to make it home and the staff even brewed us fresh coffee for our drive. Will definitely be staying again and if you have a large family with young kids this place will become a favorite guarantee.

Very clean and modern hotel. The room was spacious and bright. Bed could have been more comfortable but that is a personal preference. The pillows were terrible so bring your own. One gripe I have with many hotels is the lack of seating in the rooms. Why does a room with two beds only have one chair? Put a second chair so two people can sit comfortably and watch tv.

I spent a week in the Tru Hershey for business trip and wasn't disappointed. The rooms are bigger than other Tru that I stayed before and the has spacious bathroom. The hotel is very quite. Hotel lobby is plenty of snacks and they offer a fair breakfast included. I recommend the hotel and would stay there again If Im in Hershey again.

Great experience. Andrew at the front desk assisted in making it a great stay. The rooms are a little on the smaller side. Newer hotel and very clean. Housekeeping service daily. Great lobby area with activities to do with kids. At breakfast they do not have waffles, but a really neat pancake maker.

Hotel was conveniently located by Hershey, Restaurants, Shops and other attractions. Rooms were very clean. Check in and out was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. Complimentary breakfast was a plus. We were visiting for a Softball Tournament and found the accommodations were more cost effective then other surrounding hotels.

very exquisite hotel, rooms are very modern and look new, there is a snack bar the size of a penthouse down in the lobby.. lmao you can order food to he delivered, and there are also ipads and tablets in the lobby for you to use to pass time... just a few blocks away from Hershey Park and the Hershey town

This is a very comfortable, clean, and fun place to stay. The rooms are fresh, and the staff is very accommodating. What's sets this place apart is that the lobby area has a bunch of comfortable seating and games to play. So many people were hanging out there relaxing and having fun. It was great!!

I didn't interact with anyone after checking in, but the desk staff was friendly and welcoming upon arrival. The room was nice and spacious. The cleaning could be more thorough as there were piles of dust along the edges under the bed which is designated as storage space. You wouldn't notice if you didn't look, but I was doing some yoga on the floor and noticed that area is not getting cleaned. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable. Most importantly, I was there for hockey at Giant Center and it's a great location for going to games or Hershey Park or any of the stuff in that central entertainment complex. Also, the lobby area was quite lively with people, a snack stand, and game tables. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel that seemed to be in the middle of a residential area. It was a great hotel tho and literally across the street and a few trees away from The Hershey park and Giant center.

Everything was great. In a nice neighborhood just a few minute walk down to the main drag with restaurants. Rooms looked brand new. Staff couldn't have been any better. Only CON I could think of is the pool towels could use some upgrades. They were tiny. But the staff had more then enough stocked at the pool. Kids loved the lobby lots of games, places to sit, 2 Foosball tables that were all free to use anytime.
