Best Western Lock Haven

Very clean room and friendly staff. Nice breakfast variety. TV actually a nice size and worked without issue.

Would definitely stay again.

I give 5 stars to a hotel that should be an industry 3star, not industry 2star accommodation.

Its not fancy and plush, but it was definitely clean, simple, spaceous, polite/friendly employees, breakfast, pet friendly, nice grounds, and the towels looked newish.
...and all the parts functioned properly.... the on/off faucets worked on/off, the air heater / cooler heated and cooled, the drains drained. Gazebo ourside hqd a table, a path, trash cans, and located near the pet station in a nicely mowed field.
Haha, the bed was softer than my liking, but I joke that the company didn't phone for my opinion when furnishing the facility... and turns out I slept just fine.

I dont know if there weren't any trains, or if I couldn't hear them indoors through the night.

Clean, comfortable, and location perfect for the reason I was there, which was to attend football game at Lockhaven University, which was just 10 min away.

Clean rooms, quiet, smaller hotel, comfortable beds, nice breakfast, close to restaurants, good vending machines, laundry machines, friendly staff.

This is a very affordable option for staying the in the area. The room was very good, dog friendly, and clean. The staff was polite at check-in and check-out. The entire hotel was quiet with a lot of parking and not much road noise despite its proximity to main roads. Bonus: there is a nearby train track with real trains passing by occasionally. You can walk to Main Street to some quaint shops and eateries.

Water in the shower was weak but everything worked and my dogs and I had a fun stay.

They also have a very reasonably low fee for dogs, which is a big plus.

This is, hands down to bow, the best hotel I have ever stayed at! Great hot breakfast included! Fresh eggs, bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, links, etc. The team members are also awesome. They treat you so great you cant wait to see them again! I promise you, you would regret to stay anywhere else. The building is highly maintained with new carpeting and cleanliness! From the house keepers to the front desk, you will feel right at home. Will return for sure!

Check in/out was a seamless process. Room was clean. Water was hot for showers. Was there for homecoming weekend so they were prepared.

We asked the front desk lady to clean the one bed since a guest was coming the following day and my friend was in the best the previous night. They carried out our request in a quick fashion before our roommate came.

Would definitely recommend staying here for homecoming weekend to anyone who wants to be a walking distance from the heart of town (bars, restaurants)

First off, the staff was absolutely amazing! So kind, so helpful and so attentive. The room was immaculate, breakfast was so good! I can’t say a bad thing about this hotel. Thank you for taking care of my family of 6 and our puppy!

Very friendly customer service! I needed a place to stay for the night due to car troubles and we were able to get checked in right away. Room was very clean and we had everything we needed. Good breakfast too. Highly recommend staying here!

Checked in and the woman who checked me in was awesome. She was fast, efficient and had a great sense of humor that was needed after a bad travel day. We joked about my "business trip" while she checked me in. The hotel is great, the room I got was a bit small but clean and nice! Definitely perfect for a weary traveller. She even got me on the first floor after she noticed I was limping a bit due to a healing ankle. Awesome customer service!

The staff is extremely nice (which is what brought me to write this review). We stay here for Penn State game weekends sometimes and we always enjoy our stay. Extremely easy to get to and the rooms are clean.

My husband and I were visiting Lock Haven, as I went to college there and wanted to see what was new. We hadn't intended on staying the night but last minute decided why not. We drove to the Best Western and the gentleman at the front desk that night was very helpful, and we were checked in, in no time. The parking is great, the location of the actual hotel is super easy to get to, the hotel itself is really clean and comfortable. It was a rainy day (all day rain) and when we got to our room it was nice and warm, just what we needed. That night after we got settled in we decided to walk about two blocks to Fox's Market House for dinner and drinks; the gentleman at the front desk gave us great walking directions. Overall we were both very happy with our stay. Check-out was no different, the lady who helped us was very kind, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

The people who work there are amazing. The rooms are kept very well cleaned. They are there to help you with all of your needs. Pet Friendly. Definitely recommend. 2x points for every stay

Located in a nice area, this hotel was the nicest stay I've had in some time. The room was clean, the right number of towels was provided, the staff was kind, and the continental breakfast was one of the larger ones I've seen, with a wide variety of breakfast foods and drinks (including soy milk) and not just cheap coffee, cereal, and pastries. Elevator makes the stay and leave so much easier (as do the automatic doors), and my only regret was that I didn't get a chance to check out the indoor pool and hot tub. Great stay!

Rooms are small, but adorable. Breakfast was delicious and I slept like a baby.

My visit was during the Lock Haven University graduation. The hotel was busy, but the staff were still prompt and helpful. My wife and I needed an infant "pack and play" which was waiting for us in our room upon arrival. The room was clean and included a nice sized "mini" fridge and microwave, as well as a large flat screen television and coffee maker. During a packed complimentary breakfast staff was quick to get us a high chair, while refilling the different foods. Food quality was so-so, but the Belgian waffle maker was fun and good. Check out was quick and easy. I would highly recommend if you're staying in the area.

Best Western in Lock Haven is a very clean and comfortable hotel not to mention the courteous staff. Breakfast was great as well as the coffee. Best hamburger I ever had was at Fox's around the corner. Will definitely go back as this is already my second stay as a stop off between NY and OH.

We stopped at this hotel on our drive from NYC to Michigan with our dog. We've stayed at a few hotels in PA while taking the same trip but always felt like the hotels that allow dogs were dirty. I highly recommend this hotel. It's clean, quite and although it's a little bit off of I80, it's totally worth the extra time to stay at a clean, well kept, hotel. highly recommend!

This is a typical Best Western hotel. Clean, neat, friendly staff all for a reasonable price. The only issue someone might have is that the rooms are small. Not uncomfortably small, but small. Other than that it was a very nice stay.
