Helene’s has been amazing for me so far!! They’ve been attending to maintenance requests as soon as they can and they’re always available via email or phone when I’ve needed them to be!
The staff are also all super nice, especially Jaime on the maintenance team & they always clear my “total due” amounts within a day or two after I pay them(if you’re a peace of mind girl like me then you get it)! Happy to renting from a place that cares about me so much as a paying tenant! 😊 ✨

I recently moved into a unit managed by Helene's and really enjoy the property and space. The application process went very smooth. I have only put in one maintenance request and it was for an outdoor common space. There was someone there the next day doing the repairs which I greatly appreciated the promptness!

The maintenance manager does a wonderful job in maintenance! Our unit has been fixed time and time again thanks to her hard work!

I have rented through Helene's off and on for the past 5 years and each time I have had a great experience! They are always quick on work order requests and the move in and move out is always a smooth process. I really liked having the opportunity to come back after moving out and touching up some cleaning items that may have been missed. Always nice to get a good chunk of your deposit back.

I would highly recommend Helene's Property Place for their diverse options provided met your demands, excellent maintenance work, transparent online system for financial processing and friendly staff there. I lived in one of their property for a while till I graduated, and also with their help to find a apt for my friend. Unfortunately my friend could not come at the end, so they also helped to sublease the place . During the whole process, I greatly appreciate the patience they had to answer my questions and clearly explained processes to me. Additionally, I was very pleased by the efficient fixation of the smoke detector by their maintenance team in the following days after I reported. Two days right before I moved out, the CO detector reached its lifespan. So I reported to them and they replaced it without charging me. They also helped me to schedule the floor and carpet cleaning after I moved out. That's very nice of them. About the financial part, they have a very transparent online system to help tracking the activities and maintenance, so you do not need to worry about that. Based on what my accounts showed, they are doing very well to be transparent and fair regarding fees charged.

Communication and trust are core belief for any good relationship. Believe that they are there to help and being honest with each other is a great start for a pleasant stay. Again I would like to give special thanks to Monica and Jessica and their maintenance team, and highly recommend HPP LLC for their wonderful service.

So far, I have had nothing bad happen with this company. I see all the bad reviews and wonder what happened. There is never been an instance where they came by or in our apartment without notifying us very far in advance with a letter in the mail. Also, we have a very good deal (in my opinion) on our apartment. Buildings are a little old but that's not that big of a deal. Dishwasher isn't the best, but its much better than washing everything by hand. The maintenance requests they send out every year are nice as I always forget to report in any requests. I still live here so I do not know how the deposit will work. I have not had any bad experiences yet! Good price as well.

Edit: i recieved almost my entire deposit back and I had a dog. We lived in the apartment for over 3 years. Nothing bad to say.

We rented one of their houses for about 2 years. I'm writing this review because by reading the previous ones I felt that they've been getting the short end of the stick. In all of our interactions with them, they were polite and professional. Whenever we needed something serviced, they resolved it promptly.

Yes, the lease renewal 6 months in advance is pretty annoying, but that's how things work here in Pullman. But here's the bright side: we had to move before our lease expired (bought a house) and they helped us through the subleasing process. They do charge $100 for that, but I think it's fair given that they have to screen the candidates and arrange the showings. Also, didn't have any problem with them giving us back the deposit. All the numbers came in clearly and the cleaning fees are very reasonable. 10/10 I would do business with Helene's in the future.

We are very pleased with how well things went with the management at Helenes property place. When we moved into the place they were very helpful and friendly and all our maintenance requests were fulfilled quickly and efficiently by a very friendly great guy named James, and Maggie who is in charge of maintenance was very helpful and great as well. Whenever I called the office I was treated very kindly by a great staff. We just moved out and it was icing on the cake with how great they were. They let me know that there needed to be about an hour or two left of cleaning (which is very minimal) and that they could hire someone or I could do it. At first I was surprised by the list and questioned them in depth and they were patient and thorough in explaining what needed to still be done. When I went to clean I realized they were absolutely correct. I cleaned it again to their specifications and then we waited. We got a check in the mail from them pretty quickly after moving out and they gave us our whole deposit and part of the last months rent which was reimbursed to us since we moved out mid-month. We did pay a carpet cleaner which was agreed upon beforehand but ultimately it was such a great experience and we are grateful for the whole staff for being so excellent.

My apartment is extra affordable and the staff does a great job of communicating with the tenants. Definitely one of the better property management companies in Pullman! *** After coming back from a weeklong trip I found my apartment had flooded. Helene herself came to help me and call in a plumber and water mitigation team even though her office was closed! She let me out of my lease six months early no questions asked and prorated my rent for the month I moved out. After moving out and spending a little less than a full day cleaning the unit I managed to get all but $25 of my damage deposit back. If you are kind to Helene and her staff, they are very easy to work with. I am very happy with my time renting from Helene's Property Place, it was a great first apartment.

All of the bad reviews are a gross exaggeration, and honestly surprising. My roommates and I have rented with Helene's for 4 years now, and they have always fixed problems in our duplex within 24 hours, always on the same day that we call. The rent is very fair, and the maintenance crew is extremely professional. Their office staff is always smiling and helpful, and on more than one occasion they waived late fees on our rent payments. We had a huge flood this year in our unit, and they handled it professionally and quickly with new flooring, carpet, and paint. In my opinion, one of the best rental companies in the area. Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt, and go talk to them in person. Wouldn't rent with anyone else in Pullman.

I was very skeptical of this property management group, especially due to the high amount of terrible reviews they have received. I can honestly say I’m pleasantly surprised, besides having a couple of minor bumps in the road (some staff not knowing what’s going on, unwillingness to repair several holes in the walls, having to pay a $500 carpet cleaning fee) they came through pretty well. The maintenance requests were responded to promptly and we received our whole security deposit back. They were transparent and honest with their business.

I couldn't be more happy with HPP. After DRA scammed my roommates and I out of our security deposit, we switched to Helene's. We have had problems with random people parking there cars in out driveway, forcing us to find parking on the streets. Helene herself has worked with us to post no parking signs and tow vehicles when necessary. They were lenient with one of our roommates when he was late on his payment and didn't charge us the late fee, which they easily could have. And when the owners of the house decided to terminate any future leases and demolish the building, they worked with us to find a new place for the next year. Any issues that have occur have been dealt with quickly and efficiently to the best of their ability. If you are a reasonable tenant, they will work with you on just about anything, which is very few and far between in this town. Again, I couldn't speak more highly of this rental company.

Decent apartment, older appliances but a reasonable price with washer, dryer, air conditioner, fireplace and dishwasher. Unfortunately a family situation required me to leave during the middle of my lease on short notice and I was not able to find somebody to take over my lease. Initially the process was rocky but Shiloh and his team really worked hard to find somebody to take it over and am extremely grateful for their efforts. While not perfect they are good people that will make the effort and that is all you can really ask for.

My best friend and I rented from them last year and it was amazing! Whenever we put in a maintenance request they came right away or first thing in the morning. They always answered our (moms') questions when we went in or on the phone and made sure we didn't have anymore. I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent in Pullman!

The only reason I'm giving them a 5 star review is because we had just received a call from someone named Shiloh who works there. He called to wish my partner luck in her future endeavors, a completely unexpected but greatly appreciated act of kindness. Though we didn't have a good time with Helene's when we rented from them, Shiloh's commitment to going above and beyond really made our day. Thank you Shiloh!

I am very pleased with our experience with Shiloh and Helene's. Circumstances necessitated a relocation immediately. Shiloh was very helpful and willing to work with us and our daughter to get into a new location with very little turn around time. His knowledge of the area helped us decide if buying or renting was a better option, including renting somewhere else, if that was a better option for us. I found this level of help and professionalism refreshing! Above and beyond what I expected for sure!

This place is so much better than D.R.A. I went with a Single bedroom apartment on campus for cheap. They place is old but the company always worked with me and had great customer service. No doubt in my mind that Helen's is the best property mgmt in Pullman espically for college kids!

I’ve been renting from Helene’s for a couple months now and it’s been a really great experience. I’ve put in two work requests and they were attended to immediately. Our place is affordable and quiet.
