Pymatuning State Park (Ohio) - Main Beach

Nice place. Gone multiple of times to various locations on the Ohio side.
You do need to be careful of the state lines if you decide to fish.

It was a beautiful day. The beach was nice and not too crowded. I didn't use the changing room or restroom. There is a very large parking lot, and picnic tables all around. I'll update this if/when I return.

Just a beautiful place! I met a family with a couple children and a 18 year old small dog and they assured me that the water was very nice and warm as well. The park also offered a nice selection of cabins for rent.

Always catching a beautiful view, great fish and not crazy packed. One of my favorote places to go and fish/cruise by.

This is a really nice beach amazing views. Nice big parking lot, bathroom facilities and pic nick areas. The sand is nice beach sand not that dirty lake sand. We will be back!

Huge lake with tons to do. Boat rental prices are reasonable and there are a lot of great fishing spots. Also, being a neutral water was great to explore both sides, (Ohio and PA).

Went for the Andover Beach Festival. Very nice time! Music was enjoyable. Crafts were very nice and so much to choose from. We ate from the caterer, which was delicious! I even copied what we had at home, it was so good!

Great place to visit…cozy, nice little beach area, small town feel! Great place to bring the family…be aware there are currently no bathrooms that are open to the public and we also didn’t notice any available trash receptacles.

Still recommend you visit and see.

Very beautiful and relaxing area. I've been through here several times and didn't even know this place existed until today. I would love to go back.

Pymatuning State Park is in my Top 5 favorite places to be.

Bathrooms are a reasonable accommodation although I would personally benefit if they were not to lock them up most of the year.

Family reunion during the warmer months, a desire for a small adventure such as geocaching, a bike ride with your son, a place to enjoy your lunch break special and/or even the need to have a solo, quiet moment to recharge mentally, put Pymatuning State Park into your Google Maps and enjoy!

Pretty location. Clean area. It wasn't crowded at all.

ABOUSTLEY beautiful love this place within minutes of are camper site,the lake is breathtaking!! Kid & dog friendly.

Very clean water. Beach was large enough for everyone to spread out. Easy to find. Water was deep but always able to touch.

The beach was extremely clean. A lot of sand but not a lot of stones in the walking area. Met some nice people from the Pittsburgh area got to talking to them which was good. The bathrooms were clean and had toilet paper in them which was very appreciative.

Nice little shallow beach tucked away off the highway. It is a "Swim at your own risk" type beach with no lifeguards on duty but honestly even all the way out to the buoys it was no deeper than maybe 5 feet. Great place to take the family on a nice warm day. It does have a bathroom facility with a shower in each bathroom. It ain't no sunset beach in LA but for the area definitely worth going.

Dated bathrooms that needed a good cleaning. Otherwise, fine place to relax with your dog, family, or yourself.

The park is beautiful and the cabins are awesome. Everything you need

Nice small park, & the beaches are nice & the views around the park are very interesting.
