Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery

This is a very nice Catholic cemetery with a large piece of land.
Depending of what are your needs and preferences, they have the typical open space graveyard, and also a chapel with many row, where large coffins are placed covered with a marble block, or for small niches for the ashes amphorae, that have glass.

This chapel has a fountain at the center that provide the running water noise that gives you the peace, as well as soft Gregorian or sacred music, while you pray. As most place in Florida, the chapel has air-conditioning.

I was enamored by the artwork in the walkway.
Mother Mary, so gracefully placed at the end of the walkway.
I lost my mother earlier this year , and being a sai devotee i was drawn to this amazing church. I found solace and peace in simply being around the church and its calm surroundings.
The artwork was really breathtaking.

I hope i can visit south florida again soon and be able to attend both english and spanish services.

Every time i go to visit my is peaceful. Clean. The couple of times I've interacted with staff it has been a good expiriece

This "Catholic"cemetery is the most beautiful cemetery in Miami,the place is peacefull,always clean,im happy to now that someday I will be resting here.
Of course its going to be expensive and there is going to be a lot of rules to follow,thats the way it is.

I see a lot of people complaining about price and rules,what do you expect?
There are more cemeteries in the area.
You want to have your family member buried in this beautiful place but a the same time you don't want to pay the price and don't want to follow the rules?

Beautiful Place where my little brother Sleeps peacefully.

A beautiful and peaceful place for your loved one to rest. The cemetery is extremely well kept and the staff is always helpful with all of your needs and questions. They are prepared to help you during a time of loss and pain, and they will guide you to the burial solution that best fits your needs and desires. My family’s advisor, Marbelys, was of tremendous help in the final disposition of my grandmother.
It’s also very nice that the cemetery is adjacent to a Catholic Church where you can pray for your loved ones and is on sacred grounds.

Fernando is an extremely kind and compassionate park ranger. We couldn’t thank him enough for all the help he gave us. He went above and beyond, God bless him always.

Most peaceful and splendid place.
Our cherished one(s) may rest in peace, in this beautiful landscape, surrounded by elegant marble buildings.
Leaving noisy and crowded Miami (no further comment on a nevertheless lovely City), you feel like entering a new World, close to paradise.
The place is very well maintained, and a florist provides the appropriate flowers (closes early on Sunday afternoons).

Hello! If you are interested in buying a lot here for you and your family then you must have already visited the cemetery and have experienced something good. I visit the cemetery often because my dad is buried there, and when God wills for me to die, I will be buried there too. Visiting your families grave often changes your perception of cemeteries and of life after death for the better. Sometimes life feels so unpleasant and a visit to the cemetery to visit my dad helps to disconnect. OLOM is a pretty spacious cemetery, actually it takes up a big chunk of land! The grass is always maintained, never higher than the marker. The markers are spread apart enough so that visiting families can feel like they have their "private" space. The groundskeepers are always out there working, saying hi to us, and offering any assistance. I have been to other cemeteries where there are no workers in sight and no restrooms available so OLOM is pretty accommodating in more ways than one. I love that it offers masses (call the office for mass schedules) too.

My Dad was buried in July 2014. they handled everything so respectfully. it was a hard time and they were exceptional when it came to details. When the time comes the staff will help guide without becoming sales people.

My grandma and mom were buried in this cemetery. My mom choose it because it has a beautiful view of a lake.

We want to commend Mrs. Olga Perez for her diligence and high degree of professionalism. She ensured that our needs were fulfilled in a timely basis and her amicable personality and concerns made the process simpler. Thank you Mrs. Perez.

Next to the Turnpike, a peaceful resting placed for loved ones. The Great One, Jackie Gleason is buried here. You can see it from the Turnpike... white grecian columns.

My dad and grandmother are at the cemetery they died the people who work are very nice my dad died in 2006 my grandmother died in 1997. This is a place that is nice and respectful
