Diamond in the rough. Pleasant and unexpected find. Open by chance and we lucked out. Would definitely recommend if traveling thru the area!

The sign said "open by chance" so we took one! Turns out that the owner comes out to greet you if he hears a car enter his driveway. I'm glad we stopped by - we got to peruse a wide variety of artifacts and antiques and speak at length with the owner, Dean, about different colonial and early American farm and fabrication tools. We bought a hetchel, or flax comb, and some brass stencils for a decent price. He said some folks get confused and think the shop is a museum and I totally understand why! If you visit say hello to the peacock flock, emu, and barn kitty.

dean & his family are so wonderful -- i purchased a fantastic canadian production wheel for a bargain. their collection of animals and objects is truly wondrous. what a fantastical place!

Didn't have high expectations about red cannon antiques but boy was I wrong. Told my wife this may be my favorite antique store I've ever been to. His collection is impressive, heard someone say his prices were high but that's because what he has is unique. Highly recommend red cannon!!!
