I love coming here to walk my dogs, fish, hike, and kayak. It's always very well maintained and clean but I keep finding these notes about nonsense that feels like a fear tactic for gun control. I reported it to DCNR but honestly all I can say is stop trying scare people and take to the streets, polls, or social media to raise awareness or speak your voice and stop littering beautiful park. These notes as shown are usually wrapped in plastic and thumbtacked to trees. What if they fall off and someone dog chokes on it or someone steps on a rusty tac and gets sepsis? Huh? How would you feel? Shame.

The Roaring Creek tract of Weiser is my happy place! I love coming here and walking the trails and seeing the different birds that migrate thru the area. One of the nicest places we have in the area to go be out in nature!

There is a trail here, not just a parking area. There are some picnic tables and a very nice view of the water, however I didn't get to explore both directions, so I'm not sure about everything that is available here, but hope to get to explore more in the future. I've also seen quite a few people riding bikes here as well. Good place to go if you want to walk around (or bike) in a nice, quiet place.

Great place to bike along a series of lakes surrounded by Pennsylvania State Forest.

The Weiser State Forest is a great place to get out for biking, kayaking, walking and running. The Roaring Creek Trail is about 8 miles from the rt 54 to rt 42 trailhead. The path is well maintained and minimal up elevation changes. The rt 54 side has more elevation changes to the halfway point compared to the rt 42 side. The trail has several picnic benches (take trash with you) throughout and rest rooms at each trailhead and near the McWilliams Reservoir dam close to the halfway point.
