Ed was so helpful!! I bought a pair of hoka bondi and it was not the best on my feet. I was then away for vacation and was not able to return them for two weeks. During the time, my mom threw away the shoe box and along with the receipt. I let Ed know about my situation and he was happy to exchange a different pair for me. Ed is a very knowledgeable guy.

I needed the best shoes for maximum support. Ed took the time to teach me about different styles, brands and quality; they’ve had my business now for almost 10 years. Highly recommend.

Amazing staff and the gals who helped me on 2 separate occasions were both extremely courteous and knowledgeable, loved the experience. Top notch customer service and a fabulous store in general. Had my first experience buying good running shoes and this is definitely the place to go. Both my sister and I were looking for new shoes and Ed took the time to watch us walk, offer many options for shoes, and then talk us through the best option for us. He was not pushy at all about making a purchase and let us go home and decide, before coming back to get the ones we wanted. He was very kind and worked to get to know us in our time in the store. Overall 10/10 experience, they go above and beyond. Love to support local businesses and these guys make it easy to do so.

Outstanding service, super friendly! The manager and staff really care about finding you the right shoe and fit. Very easy returns. I put a good few miles on a new pair that turned out to really hurt my feet. I brought them back and exchanged for a better fit - no problem. My whole family gets their running shoes here, especially my son who only shops here for his XC and track shoes.

I recently purchased a pair of running shoes from BMRC—West Chester. I was helped by the store manager, Ed. He couldn’t have been more friendly! He was thorough in explaining the different types of shoes and gave me several detailed recommendations based on my personal preferences and needs. I just ran 3 miles in them (I haven’t run or done much of any exercise in MONTHS, and I’m not a runner but I’m trying to get there) without stopping….couldn’t be happier! Would highly recommend if you’re in the market for a pair of shoes or any running gear.

Arguably the most rewarding retail experience I’ve ever had. I left with the perfect shoe for my needs (after a few weeks, I’m still blown away by the difference proper fitting makes), and it was just plain fun to shop there.

Both guys working the day I went in were extremely attentive, helpful, and easy to talk to. I left feeling motivated. This is a great business.

So I went in to get a walking shoe and am likely the most difficult customer they get all day. I must have tried on 20 shoes and walked back and forth in the store enough times to get a workout. The employee helping me was very helpful and patient (I was probably there for 30 minutes). She assured me to take my time and I never felt rushed. Will definitely be back. Big thanks!

Ed at the west chester, pa location was best sales guy i have run into in any retail store in a long time. my foot issues are complex, from recent size changes to plantar F. and high insteps, and he explained all the issues in detail and gave me every option imaginable to try out.

Whether you’re a local or just visiting, you MUST stop by. The staff took time to listen to my running history, my past shoes and walked through 6 different shoes I might like. Never rushed me and gave solid feedback. Perfect for all athletes looking for running shoes, new and experienced.

The best place in Chester County to buy running shoes! These guys are all runners and very knowledgeable. They will take a look at your individual feet and gait, and tell you exactly which shoes are best for your bio-mechanics and running style. (You won't get this from the guys who work at Dick's, Kohl's, etc.) Very friendly, not pushy at all. They also support & do timing for a lot of the local races. The best!

How can you properly thank someone who puts you in a shoe that allows you to walk for the first time in three months? I broke my big toe in October and have developed severe osteoarthritis.
