Central Hotel

Food was perfect! We had a group of 15 who visited, giving us a wide variety of menu items from chicken fingers to broiled steak. Everyone complimented their dinner. Kid friendly and will visit again.

The delmonico and Shrimp and lobster linguine were super! Carmel apple pie started my meal and it was to die for!
We search for places like this all the time and have never come across it until just the other day. It definitely won’t be long before we make the hour drive to visit again! Thank you for your hospitality as well !

Best dang steak you'll find in Central Pennsylvania. Excellent lunches also. Good people. A must try.

The owner Jim Null really has it together at the Central Hotel the food is always very good and the service is outstanding.. The prices are very reasonable..

Best place to eat in Curwensville! Would be cool if you could post your weekly specials on for the entire week every Sunday.

The best steaks anywhere. My wife and I have been going there 30 years. Food has always been good and the steaks are absolutely delicious. Highly reccomended.

Compliments to the chef!!! Steaks are great! Broiled salmon was delicious😋, portions are great and prices are reasonable...staff was friendly and professional, great atmosphere and decorated nicely for fall. Will definitely come back.

The food was delicious 🤤 and the portions were Decent size. Very friendly environment as well. Highly recommend it!

We found this place on Google maps. We came at lunch time & there wasn't anyone there. Their main dining room wasn't open yet so where we sat was just ok.

But where that room lacked much atmosphere, the service & food quality, quantity & price more than made up for it.

The waitress was very kind, laughed at my dumb jokes & made some jokes also. She answeed all our questions & knew the menu well.
I had the Marco Polo chicken which was like cordon bleu but stuffed with broccoli, cheese & other goodies. Came with green beans, salad & potato. Mine was baked & was very fluffy. Of Course I mashed the tater, beans & real butter & sour cream all together. Good to the last drop!

Chicken melted in my mouth,it was so moist. Plus thebroccoli & cheese made it all healthy! On my head anyway...

The lil missus has chicken Kiev. She got 2 pieces with er! She liked her food too. She loved the bread that cane on the side too (Safety note:i you don't have to speak Ukrainian to eat chicken Kiev--I checked)

They make the best Delmonico steak.

Our waitress was kind and answered any questions we had as well as helped with suggestions.

The Delmonico steak was to die for. Very tender and juicy, cooked to perfection. My boyfriend got the special of the evening, spaghetti and meatballs. He said the only thing bad about it was he didn't get enough meatballs!! The meatballs were plentiful but so delicious he wanted more. The whole dining experience was exceptional.

The food, service and atmosphere at the Central Hotel is great.
I normally go there for the Delmonico Steak which is always great, cooked the way you want it and always tender!

Very clean. Nice atmosphere. Good waitress. Our appetizer , onion rings , were very good. Not over cooked. We got the Delmonico steaks,with baked potatoes and salads. Great portion sizes on everything. The steak was very,very good. Tender, juicy and cooked to my liking of medium rare. Topped with lots of sauted mushrooms and onions. Never been here before, but if I were in the area again, I would definitely stop. They do not accept major credit cards or bank cards. Cash only. That's about the only downfall to it.

It was a really busy Friday. The service was great. That waitress ran her butt off. We didn't have reservations but maybe next time we should. Excellent steak! Salmon cooked to perfection. And peanut butter pie to top it off. Yummy!

We had a wonderful time with our small group. The food was delicious! We highly recommend the steak dinners and the Stuffed Flounder. Also Friday and Saturday special of Shrimp Scampi! The staff was friendly, courteous and saw to our every request and need.
