Another excellent brunch! Chef Josh is a master of his craft. The breakfast sandwich and burger were phenomenal and more than reasonably priced. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Even on a busy day we only waited 10 minutes for our food. Check out Mae’s to Days!

Can’t believe I haven’t rated this place yet. Dinner is incredible… but I finally had brunch today. Chorizo pancakes are crazy good. Apple and prosciutto toast is insane. I’ve always had the specials for dinner and they’re always great. BYOB too.

It was my first time at Mae's. We had such a lovely time seated outside. The food is absolutely incredible. It is evident the chef has a love of flavors and textures and he artfully combines them. I had the chorizo pancake and if you enjoy spice and amazing flavor I couldn't recommend it more! Get the fried egg on top!

We went here for brunch after my daughters graduation last Sunday may 14 . It had been recommended to me by the West Chester mom group. We live in NJ so needed some suggestions. It was absolutely fantastic. All 7 of us ate everything on our plates. And the waitress ( I think her name was Veronica ) was the sweetest person ever ! What a wonderful way to end the graduation...I only wish we had a place like this in Bergen county NJ. The most delicious potatoes I’ve ever had too. Everything was so delicious!

Have you ever had a secondary dish that obliviates what you ordered? That’s this place.

Words can’t describe their breakfast potatoes. Most are too oily, too soggy. Either ehhh, or awful. I can’t even pretend to describe these. Opposite of what I described above, but more awesome?

Look, there are average breakfast spots, then their is this place. Haven’t been for lunch or dinner yet, but will tell you if they awesome or if they suck. I suspect they are awesome.

Went here for a holiday company dinner and it was nothing short of amazing. The service is amazing the food is just spectacular. Fresh and makes you wanting more. I had the crab and shrimp potpie and oh my goodness all I can say is, get in my belly! Worth every penny as you'll be thinking about all the good eats for weeks after. Will go back! For those interested this is a BYOB establishment.

Mae's catered our cocktail-style wedding reception. The customer service leading up to the event was clear and efficient, and they chose wonderful staff to manage the event. The food was a hit!!

We did a combination of passed appetizers and sandwich platters. The sandwich platters were all delicious and very popular - we had no issues convincing guests to take leftovers of them home.

The hot appetizers were similarly excellent. The best ones were hands-down the ones that had more "cooking" involved where the chefs at Mae's could really shine (e.g., the chicken empanadas were surprisingly the favorite, and the risotto balls and others were huge hits too). The appetizers like bacon wrapped scallops were delicious because, well, it's bacon and scallops, it's always a safe crowd pleaser. But again the ones that required more culinary skills really stood out to our guests as "not just another standard cocktail appetizer" if that makes sense. :) So, all the food was delicious and met or surpassed our hopes and expectations.

Let me tell you how amazing these people, their food, and their space are. We had our rehearsal dinner venue cancel on us last minute because of the flooding in Downingtown, and after hours and hours of calling around, Maes agreed to accommodate our 48 person dinner party.

Throughout the entire process, they were friendly, accommodating, efficient and thorough. They made sure we had everything we needed to host a successful event.

The food was PHENOMENAL. Every bite we put in our mouths was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked.

Their waitstaff (two college girls) were two of the best waitresses we've had in a really long time. They were great at their jobs and made sure we had everything we needed.

The space was well-decorated and had a farmhouse vibe which was exactly what we were looking for!

Anyone who wants to try a new restaurant in West Chester, please head to Maes, they deserve yours and everyone else's business!

What's not to love? I've had both breakfast and lunch items and each time they are amazing. Love the outdoor street seating (while it lasts) when the weather cooperates. Give this place a shot, you won't regret it.

Updating...went for dinner as well. Just as awesome with some amazing desserts as well. Servers and owner super friendly and great to talk to.

My friend and I found ourselves in West Chester this weekend looking for a few fun, COVID-safe activities. We started our day with brunch at Mae’s, and we are so glad we did. We shared the crab crostini appetizer, and it was so good I couldn’t even stop to get a picture before we finished it. Then I got the brisket sandwich and my friend got the carved turkey sandwich. Both came with a pickle and homemade potato chips which were so good. Both sandwiches came on amazing brioche rolls. The brisket was just so well prepared, I was honestly emotional— I live over an hour from this place so just thinking about how I can’t stop in anytime to get another one is mildly upsetting. That being said, everything was so good that I will definitely be making the effort to get out to Mae’s again soon. Please keep the brisket on the menu forever. Mae’s featured outdoor dining, friendly service, and a clean atmosphere that made me feel safe covid-wise.

I had my bridal shower hosted here and Mae’s really knocked it out of the park with everything. The food was amazing and they were so helpful with setting everything up and making the day as stress-free as possible. They were also really great with accommodating food allergies. Everyone kept raving about the food and really enjoyed the ambience of the place too. Thank you so much!!

Best French toast in town!!! Dense with flavor! Everything you order is very fresh. Presentations are creative, and all dishes present beautifully. Try the burger with bacon jam or the salmon. Salads are crispy-fresh with homemade dressing. Mae’s never disappoints!

New favorite place to eat in West Chester!! I went here for brunch today with my mom and Aunt for Mother’s Day, and it was perfect. Our food was delicious, the coffee was great, and our server, Veronica, was truly the nicest waitress we’ve ever met. She was so sweet! She even wrote the reheating instructions for my panini on the to-go box. We will definitely be back! (and I love that they take reservations.) Thank you for such a great experience.

Mae's is an amazing place to do breakfast or brunch, but if you want a heavier fare there are also burgers on the menu. I had more of a breakfast sandwich with spinach and eggs that also came with the best homefries I've had in a while. Everything was crisp and delicious, even the side of bacon that I added. Looking forward to my next visit.

The restaurant is beautifully designed. It has a very welcoming vibe- a smaller restaurant, where you feel like family. You can tell the food is very fresh, with delicious ingredients. They are highly recommended as well for catering- they work with clients to create the perfect menu, and are very easy to work with.

Great food, excellent service, and wonderful ambiance. The breakfast sandwich with Lebanon bologna was unique and tasty. Best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever eaten!

We chose Mae's to cater our wedding and we were blown away. Erin and Josh, the owners of Mae's were incredible to work with and truly made our day special. From our guac bar, taco bar, dessert bar and handmade margarita mix, they didn't miss a thing. Erin not only was there during the day of to help but she made sure we (the bride and groom) were taken care of. Each and every person on their staff was exceptional. The food was delicious and we are still receiving compliments on it all. Go now! Eat their food, have them cater your event! You will not be disappointed.
