Best auto service in the area! John and his team of mechanics have kept our cars in excellent shape for over 30 years. Always lets me know, in advance, the next repairs/service needed.

All the work that was performed on my 1958 Corvette was excellent. I drove the car home and it performed absolutely perfect. Thank you very much I would definitely recommend your shop to other people.

Our car battery died a few days ago but fortunately we were able to jump start it and get home. The next morning we again had to jump start the car and drove to have John replace the battery with one with a five year replacement warranty. John also took the car for a ride to feel breaking and what I felt was drag when stepping off the gas. John’s brief ride provided reassurances to us that the car was safe. We are (happily) new customers.

First time using Francis Automotive. John was great with gathering information and preparing an estimate for repairs. Repair took less time than expected. Vehicle back up and running great. Courteous and professional service! Highly recommend!

John is GREAT! He is Honest! I’ve had my little smart car at so many different repair shops first to get my ABS system fixed…I had it to the Mercedes dealer…… the price was cost prohibitive and they were VERY DISHONEST! I had it to McClane’s in Downingtown they said they could most likely fix it. They charged me close to $1000 and the car was still the same. I drove the car for almost 3 years with a bad ABS till I found Francis Autimotive! They FIXED IT COMPLETELY! And it was extremely reasonable. So now my air conditioning went! John fixed it completely and almost $1000 under what the estimate on Google thought it would be for me!
I am thrilled to have found this place for my Smart Car! I love this lil car and now I have a COMPLETLY HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY REPAIR PLACE TO TAKE HER!

John and his Team at Frances Automotive are top-notch! I’ve used them for over 25 years now and they’ve always done a great job of diagnosing and fixing any issue I’ve had with my car quickly and efficiently. And his concern and care for his customers is second to none . I’ve been a customer of Francis Automotive for over ten years, the following is just one example of why I stay.
I brought my car in to replace a headlight, but John informed me that my tires were nearly bald and I needed new brakes. The following day I was driving up rte 100 (between 202 and 30 bypass) in a heavy rain when a car in front of me hydroplaned out of control. The car bounced off the concrete median in the middle of the highway, then back across both lanes of traffic and the shoulder before eventually going off the road. I was able to keep my car under control and avoid potential disaster, which I don’t think would have happened on nearly bald tires and bad brakes. Thank you, John and team.
(fyi…I pulled over and called 911 but didn’t approach the vehicle because I did that in the past and I wasn’t prepared for what I saw, luckily by some miracle the other driver was uninjured)

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help me while my car was having issues and I’m grateful for that. Will very much be going back when car needs something and can recommend!

As usual, I had another excellent experience using Francis Automotive in West Chester. It was time for an oil change and tire rotation. I had been going to the dealer while I was under warranty. I’m glad to be back with Francis Automotive. I’ve been going to them for many many years and I’m never disappointed.
