Short ribs were great if you go would definitely recommend getting it. Along with a bowl of cream of mushroom soup.

Celebrated with my 38th birthday dinner here. Lovely experience!

We already loved the food here, so we were not worried about that. (And this visit did not disappoint!) We requested to eat outside, and they set us up with the heaters and blankets. They also had a table set up inside just in case it became too cold. Our waitress was wonderful and the host that greeted us made sure we were comfortable when we arrived. I cannot recommend this place enough, even in a pandemic!

Our server was extremely helpful giving candid information about the menu items. We went for the fish and chips special which was spot on. Great wine and beer selection. Excellent spot especially if you want to be able to hear each other! We would have eaten outside but there was a lightning storm.

I am almost reluctant to talk about this place. I don't want the word to get out on how awesome it is. Wow is what I kept saying. The grilled seafood anti-pasta was great But my go to dish would forever be the Steak Chesapeake. It's was amazing I can not wait to go back. All with a great drink and wine list. Worth every bite and penny.

Nice atmosphere and great mushroom soup. High quality food at reasonable prices. Give it a try. We stumbled upon it one night and have been back 4-5 times now. The seats out front are nice too.

Excellent, friendly staff plus a great menu. Will definitely be eating here again. Also forgot to mention how fantastic the tomato crab bisque was! Got some great recommendations for on-tap brews as well.

Relaxed atmosphere and great service and varied menu--from fancy steak meals and appetizers, to more informal sandwiches. Nice patio outside with heaters to comfortably eat outside and people watch. Very much enjoyed!

You would never guess how amazing their food is but, Wow! We had fried mushrooms, French Dip, Pulled Pork, and Creme Brulee. One was better than the other. I wish there were more mushrooms but, that is really the only little complaint. The meat was very tender and perfectly seasoned for both sandwiches and the creme brulee was the
perfect consistency. I will be back. Yummy!

Seriously some of the best mushroom soup that I have ever had in my life. The stuff that dreams are made of. The restaurant has an old elegant and comforting feel to it and I love it. A must stop when in town.

LOVE this restaurant. Great staff & kitchen. When in Kennett Square EAT Mushrooms! Great menu and well prepared steak, seafood and apps. Tip 1 - Look for the Specials chalkboard on the way in and order the Chef's daily specials. Tip 2 - Municipal parking garage is very nearby and no charge for parking on most Weekends! Tip 3 - Across the street from Live Entertainment at the Kennett Flash.

Here for the holidays and had a perfect Thanksgiving Meal with a large group. Started with perfectly cooked shrimp Lejon and local fried mushrooms for appetizers, followed by the Thanksgiving Dinner special: Began with the Caesar salad followed by the main course of white and dark turkey, both mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes all perfectly cooked, and pleasantly surprised to see delicious creamed pearl onions and the chef's excellent interpretation of a gourmet succotash as well. Choice of pie to finish it off. Our large group all left with new memories made over a wonderful meal, and the service was excellent as well. Hope to return to the Kennett Square Inn soon for more!

We love the Kennett Inn and dine here even though we live north of West Chester.
The menu is a perfect blend of classic with a touch of "trending" and has never become boring as some other local fine-diining restaurants.
The service is excellent and the preparation and presentation of the menu exceptional.

Wonderful food, charming staff, great atmosphere; a local community institution. The place to have a good meal, fine drink, and romantic night out.

Best meal I’ve had out in a while. Great French onion soup! Wonderful building and interior. A gem in the heart of Kennett Square.

The Kennett Inn is a treasure. Great food with various daily specials, but best of all is the owner & staff - Steve, Jimmy, Joyce and Bev - who all go out of their way to make you feel at home. Kudos also to Alfred (the Head Chef) for his menu planning.

Absolutely awesome place! The food is all made from scratch unlike most restaurants today and the staff is great. Definitely one of my favorite places!
