Took myself here on my solo date night. Sat at the bar. Excellent Service. Food was great! All around an excellent experience. I will be back

An interesting place located in what used to be bar. The Social kind of looks like a bar on the outside still, but is quite a cozy restaurant on the inside (still has a cool bar) with a Cajun vibe and good music. I would recommend this restaurant. The drinks and beer are good. They have a great beer selection and an interesting cocktail menu for dinner drinks.

First time visiting for a fun friends night out. Didn’t want anything too crazy, just some good food and good drinks! I was blown away by the quality and flavor of these dishes. We were a bit intimidated by the menu, but intimidated in awe. We wanted to try almost everything on the menu! I had the jumbalaya, my friend had some gumbo, we had the Nola fries as the starter and some pierogies! Absolutely delicious. And our drinks were so refreshing. I’m not sure if I remember the drinks name I had but it was spicy and had a jalapeño in it, if you like unique tequila drinks, try this one. So yummy! Music and vibes were comfortable and plenty of space for you and your party to not feel compacted. Service was also very attentive and had great answers to questions about food. Definitely coming back!

Our first time and it was awesome. Service was attentive, food was outstanding and everything came out fast. The portion size is big! My chicken and waffles was so good and the side of mashed potatoes were delicious! My husband enjoyed his crab cake with dirty rice. We also had Cajun wings that were really great. I would order everything again and looking forward to what I’m going to order next. When it’s crowded it can get a little loud, but the food and service is worth it!!

The Social Downingtown has a beautiful interior. The garden vegetable pasta was absolutely delicious and creative. The pistachio fried chicken was cooked to perfection and I highly recommend it! We also ordered blackened Scottish salmon which was nicely seared and flavorful. The Vermont burger had a great cook on it and the fries were fried amazingly. I can not wait to return. The service was impeccable. I love a restaurant that has unique dishes.

The service was excellent I was skeptical about getting shrimp and grits because I’ve had really bad run in with the restaurants and shrimp and grits, but I am so glad I got the shrimp and grits. These shrimp and grits were the absolute best almost better than mine you could taste the flavor throughout the cream sauce, & grits. The shrimp was nice and tender my hats off to the chef whom I met, he is awesome. The staff is awesome as well. I will be returning to try the chicken and waffles kinda excited about that so glad we chose to eat brunch here today. Will be back! I forgot to take a pic I was so excited about getting a good southern dish of shrimp and grits I started eating them and couldn’t stop🤣.

Place looks great! Friend and I loved the food and cocktails. Chicken and waffles and the meatloaf were amazing! When we were leaving my friend said she wished she wasn't so full so she could be hungry again to eat more!

One of our FAVES! Love the atmosphere with amazing food and desserts with a southern twist! The CHEF is creative with an imagination for delicious food! The drinks at the bar equals awesomeness! We come at least once a week. because we love this place. Vibe on out at The SOCIAL!

My wife and daughter dined in while they brought home dinner for me. They had the crab cake which they loved. Said the place was great and their food was awesome. I had their chicken and waffles. Best I’ve ever had. No kidding. Great flavor and not overwhelming with syrup. Spot on. Thank you. Will be back for sure.

If you're looking for an amazing dinner experience, definitely come here. The service, drinks, and food were all amazing. Highly recommend the goat cheese stuffed wings and the chicken and waffles. All around, just a great atmosphere and place to eat.

Searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. Very nice interior and staff are friendly. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. We really enjoyed our dinner, the Jambalaya, Gumbo, and Pistachio Fried Chicken, the best! Always a great spot to get great food!

Was looking for a spot to grab some drinks and some comfort food. Bam! Enter The Social. Huge bar area with very friendly staff. Jake (not from State Farm) did a great job behind the bar. Oh, and for those who come on Friday and Saturday, enjoy half price drafts and wine from 4:00-6:00. Highly recommend.

Most tender delicious scallops I've ever had! Pulled pork burrito tender and delicious with Old Bay chips. Mouth-watering pot roast fries. Bartender even handcrafted a custom drink for us!

Really delicious meal. All five of us got something different and were all very happy. The chicken and waffles had so many great flavors on one plate. Great work Chef! Our server Tyler was great as well. Look forward to going back.

Everyone loved their food tonight. Lots of Cajun influenced options and generous portions. Great value overall for the quantity and quality of food at a really reasonable price. Nice beer selection as well.

You cannot beat the energy here. Everyone is so nice and fun (btw Tim is the best!). A very bright and clean environment as well, I appreciate the contrast from dark & dingy options nearby. I don’t stop by often but clearly need to. Be sure to ask for a dessert menu! Took home a hazelnut mousse and it is FANTASTIC !

Better food than the other Socials, quicker service as well.

Staff was very friendly and the food was phenomenal. I got the blackened scallops, which were perfectly cooked and so delicious. My husband got the andouille meatloaf and raved about it. We shared the Cajun pierogi and they were perfect and so full of flavor. My husband and I would definitely eat here again. Now I want to try everything on the menu, but we'll definitely be ordering the pierogi again. Highly recommend!

The food is AMAZING! Tastes like I am back in New Orleans. Good luck with trying to stop eating the Nola fries. Huge portion of deliciousness!!
The restaurant does get extremely loud, which is why I dinged atmosphere.

First time there tonight. The food, drinks and service was fabulous! I’ll definitely be back!
