Lots of neat stuff here at the store. So many different types of chocolates and delicious looking cakes. Totally not cool when you are trying to cut sugar! :) So glad that this reasonably priced store is in State College when you need a mini escape to Europe! Very friendly staff!

Good place to get Eastern European goods like pelmeni and ajvar. Salmon Roe is reasonably priced for the amount you get. I do wish they carried chocolate plombir more often in their ice cream freezer.

It’s small, but they have a nice variety of items you can’t find at other grocery stores. I needed some ingredients Wegmans and Weis didn’t have and was really happy to find them here. It saved me from having to pay twice the price to get them from Amazon.

Definitely check them out and support this small business!

What a sweet owner! She was so kind and understanding and explained a few of the items to me. I was there with a friend, but she was too busy shopping, haha

I really enjoy this market as they carry a wide variety of sweets and snacks from Russia, Ukraine, Poland and Turkey. The location is in close proximity to my home. The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I love to stop here for Krakus in which they sell my favorite flavors: the strawberry and plum. Food is fresh and frequently stocked. I am delighted with the opportunity to purchase foods from my second home land and will return weekly for more, and to try others. Thanks!

You'll find a treasure of treats from Poland, Russia, the Ukraine, etc. at this small but packed market. This is my go to place to find a taste of my heritage. So many things I had as a child that I thought would never be tasted again, was discovered here!

Walking through the door of this store transports me back to a time when the markets were small, friendly, and a place where you got personal service. The owners of this shop do that. Certainly a wonderful old world touch. Service is always warm, friendly and with a smile. One never feels like a burden to these folks, no matter how many questions are asked or how long one wants to browse.

I love this market!

The only place in town to get freshly baked dark rye bread! Great selection of leaf teas, deli meats, Russian and eastern European chocolates and cookies, cakes, smoked everything, and many Russian staples. Staff is very friendly, although may not be fluent in English. Deli pickles are amazing! Reasonable prices! Credit cards are accepted on purchases greater than $5.

This is a great grocery store, with a good selection of food packed into their space. I’ve eaten so many delicious things from here, and their prices are good for an import type of store. So many things to try, and so little time…

Amazing gem of a food store here offering a superb assortment of sweet and savory foods from Eastern Europe. The cheese danish I had today from there is one of the best pastries I ever ate (and I’ve been to Eastern Europe).

I remember when this store first opened, and I would go there whenever I could, not just to support them but also because they are a great example of the types of stores that can thrive these days. Now that I have moved away, I am so happy to see this small business thriving and pop my head in when I come back to visit.

Hands down the best selection for tinned, pickled, salted fish products. Matjes, Herring, Riga Sprats, Caviar, Smoked Salmon, Hot and Cold Smoked Mackerel, occasionally Smoked Eel...the list goes on and on. Another highlight is the (Eastern European regional) Charcuterie, and yes they do carry blood sausage products and some other items you won’t find elsewhere, almost certainly not in State College.

There are a bunch of candies, interesting chocolates, Halva (sunflower) cut to order, Sunflower and other oils, some solid frozen products. It’s very specific in many cases and although there are certainly some more strongly represented regions of Eastern Europe, you really can’t have it all, so I can’t really fault them for that.

Tim and his family has always been friendly towards me and this place is a real gem, on par with stores in some of the bigger cities.

Fantastic foreign grocery store specializing in European and eastern European products. Large selection such as confections, candy, breads, cheeses, meats, oils, sauces, spreads, cookies, pastries, jam and jellies and so much more. Also selection of frozen food items also. Resonable prices for the quality and scarcity of the products here. Compact sized shop very well filled. Free parking located near Wegmans and Trader Joe's for convenience. Will return!

I love this store! I drive there for around 50 minutes from my town but trip worth it. When you hungry for herring and zefir it doesn't matter how long trip is.

I love this little shop. It has all the foods and snacks and drinks I miss from Russia and Belarus at fair prices. The man who works there is very friendly.
