We had a great overall experience here. The decor inside and outside the building is awesome! There are projectors inside with one showing a sport game. One wasn't on at the time. There is a bar inside that has a noticeable fancy cappuccino machine. Inside there are two tables with semi-private rooms that are away from the open tables in the middle of the main room.

The outside is what made us want to try eating here since we saw it as we drove by. It's a really nicely decorated area with nice lighting at night with a grassy section that's well maintained.

The service was great with being able to wait for specific tables. There is a nice waiting area with a homey fireplace-look setup. The food and drinks that we ordered were great too. I personally had tacos that were very flavorful. The churros that we ordered were a bit too dry though. They were possibly overcooked or were initially stale. This was the only negative of my first experience, but I expect to visit this place again since it's local. Thank you!

Love this restaurant. Very good cocktails. The brisket is mouthwatering and is delicious in the grilled cheese. The tacos are great . They have some really good hot sauces too.

A hidden gem in Downingtown, P.a.
A beautiful fusion of local fare meets Tex- Mex. Local brewery just upstairs and a majority of crafts on tap and in cans are from other breweries surrounding the area.
There wasn't a single item I had that I regretted ordering. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable... Hands down one of the best places I've eaten at in a long time!!!!

P.s fried chicken steak taco will put you in a food coma and it's worth it

The atmosphere is nicely arranged and decor is fitting. Has an outdoor patio. Clean, well kept restrooms. The menu is diverse and labeled well for those with food restrictions. The menu has a TexMex fusion feel and some interesting combinations. I would recommend the spicy fried chicken taco for the heat, its really well thought out with the pickled red cabbage. Leave room for dessert!

This was our second time here and it didn't disappoint.
We had a brisket, fish, fried avocado and a few other tacos to try different flavors.

I also loved my beer cocktail with Belgian tripel, gin and lime juice, which was unexpectedly delicious (and strong).

Men's bathroom is quite a work of genius... You gotta check it out.

They have plentiful parking just outside the building, but it could get busy since Estrella is just one of the two restaurants in the same building.

Finally a superb Tex-mex place in Downingtown, and they have breakfast tacos all day! I ordered the H-Town taco with smoked brisket, refried beans, a cheese blend, and scrambled egg and it was phenomenal! I can’t believe how delicious and well-seasoned it was, bursting with flavor with the right combination of ingredients. Absolutely perfect! And there are four housemade sauces and all were delightful. I found out one of the owners is from Austin, so that explains it, and having lived in Texas myself, I can attest this is the real deal and would make any Texan happy.
And the iced latte using La Colombe coffee was refreshing. So thrilled this place opened and I plan to go back many times. Gorgeous interior, excellent food, and wonderful service.

Food is so good. Highly recommend the nachos and their barbeque is incredible - try the brisket!

Worth the wait for this establishment to finally open. A group of us covered a decent amount of the menu opening night and everything was fantastic. Estrella has an awesome ambience inside as well as an outdoor seating area. With a solid rotating draft list and delicious tacos, we can easily see becoming regulars here.

The food is awesome and the service has been great every time I've been here. It does get pretty busy on weekends but you can always go upstairs which is usually a little more tame.

Really liked it. You'll probably call home about the mixed drinks more than the food, at least if your experience resembles ours, but the food is really good too. And there's a wild boar in the men's bathroom, so there's that...

Estrella is a medium size restaurant in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. It never gets old! This restaurant serves some of the best creative dishes and drinks in the state. Serving cactus agave lemonade, blackberry bourbon, and the best Manhattans ever. They certainly live up and past their potential. There are so many things that make this restaurant the best of its kind but I will be telling you the top 3 things that are so fantastic about Estrella.

The service at Estrella can’t get any better. It is so amazing having food served quickly, friendly waiters, and quick service. One waiter named Isabelle—my favorite waiter—is so friendly and welcoming. On the topic of quick service, it is quicker than any restaurant I’ve been to because the food always comes out hot and within a reasonable amount of time. You can look forward to being welcomed by these amazing people and having a good time!

The menu never gets old with new exciting things that are added all the time. Their food is made with the most care possible. Estrella has brisket fries; they are the best fries known to man. They also have tacos which exceed all expectations. You’ll definitely want to eat here more than once.

Before you know these things though you need to actually look at the restaurant. They do an amazing job of this. Estrella is so appealing to the eye. It has unique architecture that never gets old. With the cool assortments of cacti and other plants, with bright bulging colors, and the intelligent industrial look, you’ll want to live here forever.

Estrella is a one of a kind for many reasons. It has amazing people, food, and architecture that simply have no match. Estrella is the best restaurant in Downingtown.

Excited for this to open in Dtown borough as I run by it frequently. Had the spiked slushees on the patio which were very refreshing on a hot day. Please add to the regular menu! Guacamole was good but could use a little more flavor. Updated: 2nd visit: The margaritas are perfect and the avocado taco was delicious (and only $4). Food prices are not bad at all. Higher prices for liquor drinks.

Great food. The spicy Chicken Taco was fantastic. 7 dollars for one. The brisket fries were ok. I personally don't like the battered type fry but others may. The brisket was very good. Wings were very tasty. Perfectly done. Salsa and chips with Queso really good. Drinks were great. Cold brew coffee very good.
Our server Morgan was fantastic. She was upbeat and happy to be there, especially considering a Sunday. Most places these days the staff just puts off the vibe they don't want to be there.
Outside has very nice seating area, fun things for kids/groups.
If Tshirt s are the attire norm for staff at least have them not be wrinkled. This is an establishment that serves food and drink that goes into people's bodies. The 2 go hand and hand. Think!

Food was delicious and the beer list was was great. Shrimp tacos were very good. The staff was very courteous and my food was ready very quickly.

After a long week at work, Estrella is the best place to hit happy hour in town! Whether you want a cold craft beer or a refreshing marg, taking on of those to the face a 5pm on a Friday is a must!

First visit to Estrella Tacos after hearing such great reviews. The cocktails are delicious and guacamole is fresh and delicious. The maragaritas are served with fresh lime. The best we have had!! The shrimp tacslos are tasty. We also had the chicken biscuit which was filling and the honey butter makes me want to come back for more. This is definitely a hot spot in Downingtown. A great outside venue as well!

THE BEST QUESO!!!! My family and I go here regularly and love everything: the food, environment and people. It’s a great place to hangout, grab some margs and enjoy tacos. We’re huge fans.

But seriously, try the queso...so good 🤤
