Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Slippery Rock

We arrived around 1:00 a.m. while traveling, and they still had fresh cookies for us. The Christmas decorations were beautiful, and the staff was very kind. The nicest Fairfield Inn we've stayed at!

This was an excellent place to stay. It was clean, staff got hot water for me right away for tea when we arrived later at night. Best of all, it was decorated for the fall, making it inviting and fun to stay at. Also, the hotel sent an email ahead of time stating the pool was out of service- good customer service!

This is our first time trying a Fairfield inn and suites. When we first arrived we were greeted with construction going on at the front of the building. Kind of ugly and an eyesore , but… hey, it’s construction. It’s gotta get done sometime. I think there should’ve been better signage explaining and the area should’ve been coordinated off better. But when we got inside, it was very nice. Natalie at the front desk was awesome! We were traveling PA and she gave us a lot of ideas of places to visit around this particular area. She was super friendly and very helpful! Our room was clean neat and we had no issues at all. We have experience with hotels, and we know where to check for cleanliness. You can tell this room is cleaned between stays. The breakfast was not bad at all. Lots of options and everything was fresh & hot. Overall a great experience, and we will use Fairfield Inn and suites in the future.

Our senior volleyball team goes here every year for completion at Slippery Rock U. This is our 7th year and the quality is outstanding. Clean, up-todate, great amenities!

Everything was great at this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the better ones we've visited prior to COVID. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was clean and comfortable. The reason for the four rating for the room was the lighting in the room. In the bathroom and the bed area, it was too dark. It was difficult to put on makeup with the poor lighting.

This is the best fairfield I have ever stayed at! The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. The room was in great shape, and it looks very new and extremely clean. They gave me a handwritten letter thanking me for my business. They had perfectly cooked cookies and popcorn every night.

Great staff and experience with my stay for the eldest son's college visit.

We got upgraded to a king suite which was beautiful. very clean and inviting. My husband utilized the fitness room and got a great workout. I swam in their pool and had a great time!

It was very nice. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfy.

My home away from home when there on business. Always recieve a courteous greeting both arriving and leaving each day. The desk clerks are outstanding. The rooms have always been clean and I have never experienced an issue in the times spent here. Heck even the kitchen personnel that provide breakfast every morning had a greeting and smile for me. No better place to stay!

This Fairfield inn is exactly what you expect. A clean room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Perfect for a business trip to Slippery Rock. I am not certain when I will return, but when that happens, I will be staying here again.

I have returned and still found the Fairfield inn a great place to stay on a Business trip. The staff has been friendly and professional. Breakfast has been tasty and sufficient- if relatively simple. All in all.... i will be back and stay here when I return to Slippery Rock.

Great hotel!! Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Beds were so comfy I wanted to pack it up and take it with us!

Staff is very friendly & helpful. Breakfast is the standard free Marriott breakfast - nothing exciting, but the keep the buffet clean and stocked. Price was excellent. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

The only negative was that the "market" is pretty small & the freezer did not keep the Ben & Jerry's cold enough so we ended up with a cup of soft "pudding" rather than ice cream. But I guess I didn't need those extra calories anyway. =)

It is fairly new. So: it was clean, well decorated, homey and the staff was great. The young lady who checked in was fabulous. She took the time to tell us about nearby restaurants and where to park at them.
The pool was nice, warmer than most hotel pools. The jacuzzi was hot, the way I like it. The was a basic workout room.
There is a breakfast, seen to by helpful staff.
I would stay there again.

The room was a bit smaller then I thought it was going to be but not by much. The room was very clean upon arrival, due to covid ruling the room was not clean but I'm sure if they were able it would have been a great job. The TV was not working upon arrival but they were able to fix it with it in no time. Over all I strongly recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Please note if you do stay here be careful of the driveway entry it is a bit weird.

Great stay for leg one of 3 part trip to see long distance family. 2 queen beds were sufficient, suite would've been more comfortable but pool/spa and landry access made up for it. Late night check in and early check out were swift and smooth, staff friendly and patient, rooms clean.

Wonderful stay!! I don't understand the bad reviews I've seen. My husband and I went there for our wedding night before we left for our honeymoon. We were surprised when we got there to find that we were upgraded to a executive suite for free! When we got to our room, we were surprised to find a congratulations note for our wedding and we got a complimentary bottle of sparkling apple cider and two wine glasses. It was probably the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The staff was all friendly and welcoming, and the continental breakfast was great!

Friendly staff, quiet room, a warm and welcoming place to stay whether on business or visiting nearby. They were in the midst of updating and refreshing their public spaces, but you would have never known. Renovations were quiet, our rooms were well removed from the remodeling, and the staff was great. We look forward to returning!

Overall really nice good breakfast and it is free! The pool and spa are really nice along with the fitness center. The rooms are very clean and modern. This is a newer hotel so it has all the modern ammenities older ones don't. The staff is very friendly and next time there is a competition at the uni i will definitely be back.

My daughter and I stayed overnight for a college tour and received a warm welcome upon check in. Alex was very professional and Liz (GM) was so friendly and personable. The room was clean and comfortable. You can count on me staying again in the future!
