The Gilpin Casino

We really enjoy coming to the Gilpin every time we come to Blackhawk! It's not too crowded like the larger places. One thing to note if you go and you cannot do stairs, there are multiple entrances. Also, note which elevator if you go upstairs to Lucille Malone's to eat.

Been here 3 weeks now. I am in hotels over 300 days a year. This is the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed at. I was greatted by freindly staff and even a welcome bag in my room. I love this hotel. Great location for easy access to freeway yet quiet enough to get rest. Every employee goes above and beyond to make this truly your home away from home.

Such a fun place to go and enjoy the day or night. They have a free photo booth that is super cool. Enjoyed our visit

The staff are laid back and friendly. The meals are plentiful, served with hospitality, and a smile. I've yet to win anything, but that's why they call it gambling.

This little casino cool use to work there in the nineties. Food wouldn’t recommend. More like a nasty dennys. But the desserts are a must. This casino you can still walk out with Tens of Thousands of Dollars! No Bill!

Super clean. Small but quiet. Went to the restaurant on the second floor and it was amazing. My waiter Brian was so nice and kind and extremely thoughtful and the food was too die for. Definitely referring and going back

Atmosphere was great this day. Staff was friendly. Food was great! Machines were actually paying off! We had a wonderful time and am looking forward to going back soon!

So we always stop in and play a little and to eat at the restaurant upstairs "Lucille Malones" always a good meal and very affordable depending on how much you spend in the casino if you get what I'm saying. Always clean and friendly staff.

It's been a long time, and still a great time at Gilpin. Not rich yet. But the ribs? To die for!

Ate at Lucille Malones. Very good food at a reasonable price. Had fish and chips and a philly cheese steak. Served hot and tasty. Wait staff was pleasant. Clean dining room with plenty of space. Desserts are the best in Blackhawk.

Will say that for a first time playing here to offer $50.00 it was a very nice gesture and really went into making my decision in joining and visiting tonight. Staff was extremely courteous and was on top of the cleaning the machines after each use. Thank you for you're extra steps towards safety.

Tuesday night dinner for those 50 and older 1/2 off is great. The Fillet Mignon is melt in your mouth good. Total cost about $20 including the tip you leave. Love all thier food. Great assortment of machines and table games. Very friendly staff.

I have not been to the Gilpin in years oh, and I had a great time there on Saturday night. Everybody was winning money and the staff was really nice and it was really relaxing there I really enjoyed myself. I recommend you go I've been going to Central City and Blackhawk for 20 years now and I haven't been to the Gilpin much but I know I'm going to start going back there cuz I had such a great time there.
