Belly Left Coast Kitchen & Taproom

Belly has great food and excellent service in a fun, upbeat atmosphere. This was my first visit so I got a few things to try, planning to take plenty of leftovers with me. I ordered the Three Hog Mac & Cheese, a Belly BLTA, and a side salad with ranch dressing.

The Mac & Cheese was amazing, with delicious Applewood smoked bacon and two kinds of chorizo. The BLTA was good but a bit dry and very heavy on lettuce, though the flavors were excellent - add a little more jalapeño mayo so it's less dry and it will be a 5-star entree. Lastly, the side salad was delicious with fresh greens, tomatoes bursting with freshness, and flavorful ranch dressing.

I definitely recommend you try Belly Left Coast Kitchen & Taproom for yourself!

Came with a group of four close to closing time and they still let us order last minute. Would definitely recommend their garlic truffle fries, papas bravas fingerlings, cheese curds, elote street corn skillet, wild mushroom truffle pizza, and coconut grove (alcoholic and came in a coconut). Wasn’t a fan of their Mac n cheese, but overall, service and food was great. Vegetarian friendly.

Food here was great, the employees were friendly and the beer selection was very good. I'd definitely recommend going here. We tried a lot of the food:
Pork Belly Burnt End Skewers - Great!
Tuna Poke - Really nice, and lots of Tuna
Ceasar Salad - Large and Tasty
Chicken Sandwich - Crispy and flavorful
Nachos - Solid, but not spectacular
Bavarian Pretzel - QUite good, pretty sure it's spent grain and the Beer Cheese was great

Stopped in here on a roadtrip as it looked like it had the vibe we were going for. Had the pork belly skewers and they were unreal, Carolina bbq sauce was a perfect touch. Would also recommend the Cali Squeeze Beer. Service was very friendly and quick.

Another great Restaurant Week find! We typically go to the same places that we like but love trying new restaurants with a great deal, such as Belly with their $29 3-course meal. At full portion sizes, there is no reason to not get the pork belly with brussels and potatoes. The artichoke appetizer was a full artichoke, easily shared among a few folks.
Fish tacos were loaded and delicious. Bacon and mango salsa are two ingredients I would have never thought should go on fish tacos, but it was so good we left wondering how we haven't had this combination before! Pork belly was very tasty, although a bit too much sauce in my opinion.
The chocolate mousse, our usual go-to dessert, was the most disappointing. Placed on an impressive display with delicious cream, the ramekin of mousse was not something we could eat more than a couple bites of because of the sourness and strong alcoholic taste. Fortunately, our friends really liked it, so this is a hit/miss.

Pros: great for Restaurant Week dinner, good service, wide selection, live music on Saturday evenings
Cons: restrooms are in the area that can be reserved for a private party so going to the restroom gets a little awkward when there's a private party going on

We had lunch, pork belly bahn mi and shrimp tacos. Also had two delicious local draft hazy beers. Service was good, used to ordering of my phone instead of real deal menus. Food was amazing especially the bahn mi, not exactly traditional but nailed it in the favor department! Salad was fresh and delicious as well. I thought it was interesting to get a 5% fee added to the bill for a "livable wage".

This was our first visit here. We would definitely return. The food was fresh and delicious. We had the chicken wings and the poke. They do happy hour on Sundays, that was great! Our server was friendly and awesome. We definitely recommend this establishment.

Eat here! If the greek nachos is on the menu - try it. The fig pizza too. Super tasty. So good that my LA-based daughter checked it out a few weeks after I was there. She recommends the Elote Street Corn Skillet. If Chef Gray (@Mauichef) is in, ask him where he is going next and with which rock band. Dogs allowed.

UPDATE 8/23: Stopped in SR with my 100% Italian husband just for the fig pizza and he said it was some of the best pizza he has had EVER.

I love this place. It’s my go to in Santa Rosa. Excellent customer service, delicious food, and a beautiful honor to an amazing chef Anthony Bourdain. Every experience here has been so positive and comfortable. Highly recommended,. DK

We had the Pork Nachos, The Linkin Pork ribs, the 3 Meat Mac and Cheese, and the Buffalo Bleu Cheese wrap. Everything was amazing and our drinks were perfect! Never before have I had a margarita that perfect!!!

Spent an easy-going warm Sunday afternoon sampling a variety of beers and ciders while nomming some great food. The chorizo Brussels sprouts were a great starter and the shared bacon Mac n cheese and Kailua pulled pork tacos won over my taste buds. Service was attentive and friendly.

Came for restaurant week and will be back.

I had pork belly and veggies INCLUDING brussel sprouts and really enjoyed the whole dish.

Huge fan of Cheesecake and Belly delivered some of the best I can remember. Huge portions, powerful well combined flavors and delicious beers! I highly recommend them.

The beer list attracted me to the restaurant for lunch, but oh man were we impressed with the food!
The beer list was outstanding and our server was familiar with it, which you don't always find, even at a place where beer is emphasized.
They ran happy hour specials during lunch the day we were there, and our server encouraged us to try some of the specials.
Shishito peppers were good, chicken wings good too.
The fingerling potatoes were so good we ordered a second portion!
They were willing to accommodate some food allergies in our party without any fuss.

Awesome spot with decent menu. Chicken sandwich, however tasty, was quite thin and missing a lot of the chicken. Maybe it was just that one serving. Will return and try again because the service was nice and food was fast.

We've walked by Belly many times & have seen a busy restaurant with happy faced customer's, & finally got around to trying it. We should have tried this place earlier, because boy is it good. From the Henhouse and 54 other beers on tap, to the large and tasty menu, to the all-day Sunday Funday happy hour menu, this place is a home run. Great service to boot, we're definitely coming back.

Always a good time to come here. They have live music at times. Also good outdoor and indoor seating. The food is pretty decently priced along with the alcohol. The only downsides are sometimes it gets a little bit chilly outside since there aren't really any heaters towards the walkway. I think they installed those after covid so not really part of the original design. Can't fault them with that. Also, park in is always an issue but parking downtown Santa Rosa anywhere since they redid the square is usually an issue. Luckily there's plenty of street parking and a garage about two blocks away. So don't expect front door parking. Also, the staff and atmosphere is always upbeat and positive. Super friendly and helpful, but highly recommend going with co-workers or friends after work

This place is nice. I love the pork belly skewers. Nice Margherita. Live bands play sometimes.

Fun, happy and delish!
They did a great job following all of the COVID-19 guidelines and still made it a personal and fun experience. As with every other place we visited in CA, outdoor seating only. They extended the 'patio' into a closed of section of the main little street. Very cute.
We both had the beer sampling and a little food - all were fantastic. Loved it.

Fantastic little spot with live music and fantastic food. The salmon over risotto was delicious. Fish tasted very fresh and perfectly cooked, and the risotto itself was delightfully creamy and savory without being too mushy or too rich. Definitely would recommend trying this place if you're in the area!

Food was good, decent selection beers on tap, live music on Sat night.
