What a great diner experience! There are so many WONDERFUL options to choose from and it was tough to decide! They are very accommodating to make 2 egg omelettes rather than 3 and the super spuds are a skillet without eggs - which is just my jam! They can customize almost anything to suit your taste! Great food and good friendly service! So nice to find a local place with good local folks! This is a great place to enjoy breakfast or lunch in a welcoming environment with good food! Seems like a place regulars meet up! Thanks Carlos, this place is a treasure!

This is an old blue collar diner. But the food is excellent. The staff work hard but truly appear to be happy. Carlos welcomes and thanks every customer. It feels great. And tastes even better.

If you love classic diner fare, This place is a gem. We had the joes special with sausage gravy and a biscuit, and the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are fresh, served with warm butter that is divine. The bacon was genuinely crispy. Everything tasted great!

Totally recommend this place! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. They had gluten free options available for toast and it was fantastic. The cottage fries were really great too.

Great food and atmosphere! Took my elderly parents there for lunch. They both opted for breakfast that they both enjoyed. Service was great. They have a huge menu. There is something for everyone!

Best ever Chicken Fried Steak in the county. You should stop by and try for yourself. Everything on the menu is very good.

This is a great joint for home style cooking. Great food at great prices and an awesome staff. Veggie omelette was excellent with the hash browns. The biscuits & gravy with eggs was awesome. Great portions - enough to take home.

We absolutely loved this place. It feels like an old American diner. Food is really good and portions are big. The waitress recommended sputs and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Service was also really good and friendly. Also very child friendly. Can't wait to go back the next time we are in Santa rosa.

Wow! Great place and extremely friendly staff. I needed a place to be able to keep my Keto Diet in line and... Perfection! You have to give them a try if you haven't already.

Outrageously good! The crew obviously all love working there, the food is not only excellent but huge portions. Our omelet and Philly cheese with sides were easily enough to feed four people!

Killer little spot. A Santa Rosa institution and one of the few spots you can find hot coffee and breakfast before 6 am anymore. Highly recommend trying the enchilada omelette with a side of sour cream.

Great food, friendly & welcoming staff, fast service, comfy environment, huge portions of food, small place but the food and staff make your experience an enjoyable on. Definitely recommend this place. Food is just savory and delicious¡

I go to Carlos' country kitchento feel at home, and I do each time. I am also amazed by the variety of people who come to eat. We're all looking for that special feeling beyond excellent service, comfort food (often more than I can eat), and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Amazing breakfast spot. Your traditional hole in the wall joint that has amazing food and great personable service. While waiting for your food, but the banter between the regulars and the waitresses you can't hell but feel at home and just apart of their family. Big portions that will leave you full and completely satisfied. I don't live in Santa Rosa but whenever I'm down that way during the breakfast hours, I always have to either stop in and eat or get it to go. Chicken fried steak is amazing and definitely could be enough for 2-3 people. The ambiance is your typical hole in the wall type of ambiance which makes it even that much better and it does have outside seating especially now with covid you can have that option and everyone wears masks and is very aware of the rules and regulations set forth by the state and county and they abide by them so there's no issue of not feeling safe or feel like they're not to code in any way. I highly recommend this restaurant. So if you're ever in Santa Rosa and you're looking for a place for breakfast/lunch, don't be afraid to stop on by it's well worth it and don't let the outside scare you away, because it is one of those rare gems that you definitely need to check out. I've never had lunch there but I can imagine if it's anything like their breakfast, then be prepared for huge portions and great quality food but I can't personally speak on their lunch menu.

Great little breakfast and lunch cafe. Hard working staff and owner. Very friendly local business. Good size portions and very good food for a country kitchen.

This place rocks delicious 😋 food 👌 , they have vegetarian options as well and they are very affordable for the quantity of food they give. I ate the whole meal in less than 12 minutes.
