Parking was easy and plentiful. Seating was quick! Service was super fast! Food was GREAT! Can't wait to come back! I had the Drowned Chicken Burrito that was VERY GOOD!

Great service and atmosphere! The food was delish and very vegetarian friendly. The only thing I would change is ordering a skinny veggie taco with corn tortilla versus bib lettuce. It was difficult to pick up and eat.

I’ve been here dozens of times over the last few years, probably my favorite restaurant in the entire city. Food is always on point and the drinks are always delicious especially when Ivan is making them. Only wish I lived closer!

Absolutely Awesome!! Service was great and the food.....let's just say I will be back on a regular basis!! We had spicy pineapple, frozen peach and blood orange Margaritas plus a sampler. Fish tacos were to die for same for the Barria tacos. Definitely a place to try.

Parking is not an issue a Parking Garage is located just a few steps from the Restaurant. Also it's free Parking under an Hour in the Garage so it's not that bad.
Well worth it!

The food was great! Margaritas and Mojitos were great! It was a little busy with a party when we went, so had to ask for our waitress a couple times. I did not like the Bloody Mary, but told them and got the Mojito which was a better choice! I would definitely recommend and would go back again.

Love this place. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, nice prices, authentic Mexican food. Chose the 3-for-$15 combo. Southern style tamale, ground beef burrito and spinach quesadilla. Rice and refried beans. I spent $15 on food and $12 on beers, and had food leftover to take home. Great value.

I love it here! Margaritas… to perfection. It’s my go to for a healthy filling meal, which ever plate from shrimp & steak, Mar y Tierra… to the pork dinner plater.

We went around 5:45pm it was pretty crowded. We were seated immediately & a couple minutes later we were given tortilla chips & salsa while we decided what to order. We immediately put in an appetizer order for the grilled chicken nachos(apps are 1/2 off for happy hour:) the nachos were delicious, fresh & flavorful! I ordered the fajitas with the chicken, shrimp, steak & chorizo. Huge portion & delicious! My husband ordered the grilled burrito with steak, he really enjoyed it. It also came with a little side salad that was so refreshing & citrusy. The manager came & checked on us a few times also. This place is great we will be back very soon!

Had a nice time at this place. The servers were friendly and it has a nice atmosphere. The food came out quickly and was very good. Prices are reasonable. The only issue is that margaritas are $12 apiece. This is extremely expensive and kind of took me by surprise. Good thing we only ordered one.

Best Mexican restaurant in Pittsburgh. Hands down. I have been going to the location in Mt. Lebanon for a few years now. Meand my wife are foodies and we love trying different places. But for Mexican food, no other place we have gone to matches the quality and affordability as Totopo. The enchiladas my favorite but on this recent trip I got the fish tacos and I will be getting those again for sure. This place is a must try.

Super pleasant and friendly staff. I ordered the Gumbo, which not only was a generous serving size but was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come back!

Food was absolutely incredible. Better than any Mexican food i’ve had. The service was quick and very friendly. If you order the guac, they come out and make it right infront of you!

The food here is so authentic! I don’t remember our server’s name but she did a great job. The ambiance is stellar and they sing happy birthday songs in Spanish! This is a very Latinx-friendly location. A LOT of the staff in general is very friendly and speaks fluent Spanish.

Regarding the food, my fiancé made me come here because of the fiesta rice lol. She said that the apple cider margarita was one of the best margaritas she’s ever had. My favorite thing was the shredded chicken they use in their tacos, burritos, etc. it’s fantastic - dense and very juicy. That’s some of the most shredded chicken I’ve had in my whole life.

1st time here and I was NOT expecting the restaurant to be this big but WOW there's a lot of space and it is a great Mount Lebanon find!

Drink Order: Spicy Pineapple Margarita on the rocks which is truly my only criticism of the overall experience as a person who does know her way around a margarita glass... I will say this, 1 drink did not sweep me off my feet, not even slightly, it was definitely light on the alcohol for the $$ -they are $16 and $5 off on Saturdays so it is currently priced. (just saying it was good, large, and spicy but it's not the strongest marg I've experienced, unlike the Mason jar ones that will sweep you off your feet consuming just one that I've had elsewhere locally where they definitely tuck in the alcohol and you end up getting an Uber) So expect flavorful but light alcohol (imo)

The fresh chips and salsa are really delicious and just enough to munch on till dinner arrives, which was efficiently served within about 10 minutes of ordering (being fair there were very few patrons where we were sitting so it could have been fast for that reason but they don't close until 11 so??)

My order: Shrimp Enchiladas with Black beans and rice (which was portioned SEPARATELY and appropriately). The recommendation was from our server and she was spot on! A popular dish with a thicker sauce, that cradles those enchililadas and three is more than enough, 2 would have been fine! Loved the fact that the food was separated (the sides) made me very happy.

Husband's order: the Choose 2 combination of enchilidas and burritos. "really good" and a generous combo platter with plenty of options to choose from for entrees (gotta say the portion of refried was way big)

Dessert: Fried Ice Cream - total ♥ and the simple flour tortilla bowl, shielded the interior coated ball of ice cream that had a crunchy cinnamon-flavored exterior which when portioned by spoon proved to be a very solid, hard-packed golden vanilla ice cream that was both rich in color and taste. A perfect shareable for 2. "tomaré otro por favor" who needs dinner because dessert is better!

Yes I will go back. Dessert date and a drink, or tableside guac and chips & drinks (a different margarita tho) all seem like a reason to return!

Absolutely zero complaints about Totopo. The service was fantastic - great from everyone involved. The food was delicious and we could not stop eating it! The entire restaurant was beautifully decorated and we cannot wait to go back!

The best Mexican food I’ve ever had!!! If you’re in Pittsburgh, you have to visit this restaurant. Everything I ordered was so delicious. I was wondering what Choripollo Asado was so I ordered it just to try it. Based on the reviews, people highly suggested to get this dish. They are absolutely correct!! Guacamole was very fresh, but a little acidic for me. It just needs a little less lime I think. The Salsa is so fresh and the best. The chicken taco salad was the best one I’ve ever had. The lime cilantro vinaigrette dressing is perfect. It’s not so over powering. I’m so glad I tried this salad. The part that I like about this taco salad is the shell at the end. It’s tasty, crispy and not hard. I like to dip the shell in Salsa sauce. The Tres Leche cake was so delicious according to my son. He was smiling when I asked him how his cake was 😄He rarely smiles, so that’s a good sign 😁The flan was good too, I was just so full so my son finished the rest. He said the flan was delicious too with a big smile on his face.

Had a taco and quesadillas, very good. Also got a pitcher of margaritas and it was great. Service was good, food arrived quickly. Really enjoyed the atmosphere

Absolutely love this place! Several years ago my coworkers and I would come here for lunch during the workday. They were always so quick with the service. Now that I’m back in the area, we love coming here for dinners. We always get seated right away. The servers are friendly and attentive. The food is always delicious as well. We even came on New Year’s Eve with no reservations and had a lovely dinner. I highly recommend Totopo!

Great experience! First time here, it's Taco Tuesday AND it's Happy Hour. Look out! I had 2 tacos, steak and carnitas. They were pretty good, I like the shells. Steak and pork were well cooked. Guac was good. I did manage a photo of the chips and salsa, and one of my, um.. 2 margaritas.. come and see!
