The Local Flea is UNBELIEVABLE!
We came across them after reading an article at SFGate and went and checked out their online catalog. Immediately found a large framed painting and ordered it for delivery. Just the frame was worth more than they were charging for it. They got back to us immediately and set up a delivery time. In the meantime, we looked around some more and came across a beautiful 55" round granite table. We wrote them immediately and asked if it would be possible to get it delivered at the same time as the painting. They agreed and, despite the table being huge and weighing a ton (almost literally), they didn't charge more for the delivery. When the delivery arrived, on-time, the granite pedestal for the table was damaged and taped together. It would take some work, but it was fixable, so we accepted delivery since the table was so beautiful and a steal at the price. It did appear to us that the damage was probably caused by the delivery company. We wrote to The Local Flea and explained the problem and sent photos of the damage. They got back to us immediately and offered an extremely generous adjustment. They are obviously willing to go well above and beyond to make the customer happy. We were able to get the table repaired and it is beyond beautiful. The Local Flea is an honest, reputable, and customer-oriented business that we look forward to purchasing from again. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Tons of high quality merchandise at rock bottom prices and the best customer service we have found anywhere. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

What not to love? A perfect place for people moving to San Francisco or are looking for older and high quality furniture (or bicycles, equipment for working out, paintings etc.) A very friendly and informative owner/leader with great energy. The prices are the lowest I've seen in similar flea markets - most second hand stores have much higher prices. According to the owner, new items arrives every week.

I ordered two ellipticals online from them with delivery. The prices were out of this world affordable. It was a huge blessing finding out about them after my old elliptical broke down.

Their customer service is next level. Everything about my delivery went according to plan and they answered my phone calls and emails. It was easy to contact them with questions and every single person I had contact with was very amiable and helpful.

When one of the ellipticals I ordered was missing a screw, they looked for it and when they couldn't find it, they offered me a 50% discount or a refund. I didn't even have to ask. They didn't give me a hard time at all. It was very easy and pleasant. I would definitely buy from them again.

Purchased a standing desk through their website. Customer service was quick and responsive and very accommodating in arranging my delivery! The desk is in great condition, exactly as pictured, and I got it for a great price.

I recently moved and had to buy new furniture, so I bought a few things from the Local Flea and am really happy with all of my purchases!! You can find a lot of name-brand items at a good price, and they can ship them anywhere (in the US), so it was perfect for me. Make sure to take advantage of their bidding feature (you can make an offer for the price)!

Just moved here and since I don't have a car, I was looking for furniture online. This shop has unique items for a decent price, they list everything online, and they offer fast and efficient delivery (for a fee). Found a lovely leather couch and a solid wood dresser for a good price. You can place a bid for items. Also I missed the introductory discount code and they refunded me the difference even after I placed my order. Delivery was timely, they gave me a 2-hour window and called me 30 minutes before arriving. Movers did a great job getting the furniture into my apartment. Great experience for consignment furniture.

Stumbled upon this furniture warehouse on a lark, and holy cow are we glad that we did! If you're into browsing a giant space filled with all manner of style and furniture gems, even if just to get ideas, this is the place! We found exactly what we had been searching for (and failing) for months -- and then they delivered and placed everything upstairs in our Alameda home for a flat rate -- the very next morning. I can't even fathom a better experience. Thanks all, we will see you next time!

The Local Flea is awesome. We pretty much furnished our whole apartment in one afternoon for a lot cheaper than if we had gone to Ikea. All the items in the showroom were stylish and tasteful and of much higher quality than Ikea or Target. It almost felt like a liquidation sale at West Elm and Crate and Barrel. Tiffany did an excellent job in assisting us with recommendations, pricing, triage and delivery arrangements. We were absolutely delighted with our experience and consider The Local Flea our go-to for all our furnishing needs.

We found some incredible deals at the Local Flea (almost new Article couch, beautiful dining room chairs, and a dining room table). We used the negotiate feature (Price Waiter, I think) and got responses right away. Luis and team are awesome to work with, super fast reliable. We also used the Bay Area delivery ($125 for everything to Oakland) and they were so fast/communicative, got text updates and everything was safely delivered during COVID-19. We couldn't recommend the Local Flea more !

Buying online was a nice process. Delivery was easy to arrange. The vendor they used for delivery was on time, professional, and careful.

Excellence is all I can say. I love to shop and buy from this store. They also have two more stores one in Arizona and Florida, but do they ship to our bay area store for pick up or to our homes ... Just curious about the other stores...

I purchased three pieces of furniture, solid wood and very reasonably priced, and had them shipped. I was very impressed with how well they were wrapped up and packaged! Pieces came on time just as advertised and I couldn’t be happier!
