Look, I actually went to TRIAL BY A JURY OF 12 IN SAN MATEO COUNTY...and he convinced me to instruct the Jury on Incorrect Instructions... (CALCRIM). He lied to me and got me convicted on his own Inaccurate and misguided "advice". I was young and naive and did not know better. After over a decade of research and having personal relationship with my appellate attorneys, I've learned that inaccurate instructions were given to jury to decide on. Over 95% of individuals that go thru the "criminal justice system" will plead out . I'm only one of the less than 5% that take their trial to the jury.
