The best sushi in Stockton by far. Ask G for the Nigiri chef choice! Hands down he knocks it out the park.

Had the most amazing experience. Came in for lunch and G the sushi chef could not have been more friendly. He gave the rundown on which rolls he preferred on the menu and then shared some twists that he personally likes on the menu items. Very knowledable friendly and adding the unique twist to menu items was a great touch. Great guy and a great place. Best sushi in Stockton.

Good Japanese Food but there is a lot of wait time. When our order arrived it looks very good. I would visit again and post pictures. The serving felt a little on the small side compared to other sushi places. The price is fair. The interior and ambiance is really nice. :)

I have eaten here on two separate occasions; both times our meals were fantastic and the service were great. Pricing is reasonable especially given the high quality of the dishes we enjoyed. The only thing a little off was that the techno music was pretty loud and distorted. It did get turned down though. So aside from that it was perfect. We'll be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Kyodai tonight. Everything tasted fresh, was played nicely, and prepared well. It was obvious that the food was prepared with thought and care. Service was excellent. We're only in town for a few more days and hope to make it back before we leave.

Kyodai has become one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in the short amount of time it's been open. They have some of the freshest seafood you can get in the area, they prepare everything according to their high-caliber standards, and have some of the most unique rolls you can find! On top of all of this, it's a great place to take a date, go with friends, or venture by yourself! Every time I go by myself I get the chance to talk to all the servers and sushi chefs. It's always a pleasure to come here and I absolutely love it!

Not sure why the bad reviews below about service wasn't good but my experience at KYODAI was great. The Food was great! Service was great! Very nice workers. The Thunder roll is delicious! Forgot the name of the dish I ordered but the Albacore tuna with lime was perfect! Will come back soon. Didnt get a chance to try the drinks since it was late.

Kyodai is a gem here in town. One of my favorite places for sushi. Sushi plates I've tried in the past are the Red boy, Sacramento, Mafia, and Sky Sky rolls. The sky sky roll is fully cooked so no raw parts, great for those who don't like raw but like eating sushi. Other entrees and appetizers that are delicious is the fried tempura, agedashi tofu(tofu comes in a bed of light sauce), spicy edamame, and the bone marrow is really tasty too. Ambiance is nice and casual and small on the inside. A great option for dates, and family friendly. There are more tables than booths although I'll ask to see if a booth is available. They also serve imported beer like Sapporo. The restrooms are easy to find and a straightaway. Kyodai is nestled between Yogurtland and Rubios. There's a lot of parking space. They also do to-go orders (also available through Doordash) since there's a shelter-in-place taking effect.

I never had sushi in my life until 2015. It wasn't the best I ever had but I came to Kyodai and my opinion of sushi has changed. I go a couple times a month to visit because I can say with confidence and no shame, Im addicted.

Mind blowing sushi. Bomba! The Chef is a knowledgeable perfectionist who has a passion for the quality and standards of the fish he is serving. Best sushi in Stockton. The fresh daily specials are served in an Omakase tasting menu style which achieves a standard of Oishi quality that is hard to find outside of metropolitan areas. They even have a sake bomb special.

For some of the freshest Sushi around, get over here.. I will try to save you some. Head Chef is awesome and the selection (including Fresh Oysters) is probably the best within 50 miles. It's the best, so enjoy!!! I did! Fresh Wasabi, Hamachi, Uni, Toro, A5 Wagyu, etc you can't even find at most places is here at Kyodai!! TT

This is the best Japanese food in Stockton. The spicy miso ramen is seasoned just right,not too spicy or blend. Their bone marrow is a unique dish to them. Have to order one every time.

My favorite sushi place in Stockton! Surprisingly though, although I love all of the rolls, my favorite thing here is the ramen. They bring it out in this huge bowl and it is just delicious.

This might be the best sushi I have ever had in my life. The staff are both courteous and wise when it comes to making the perfect selection off their exquisite menu.

Darren is the man, most ultimate sushi chef! Everything on the menu is delicious but try the nigiri because it's all super fresh. These guys also do real wasabi!! So bomb!!

Fish was fresh, Rice was perfect. Wakame was great. Other than the annoying top 40 hits playing. It was enjoyable. Ambience was still good.

I dont like going to sushi bars but by far the best so far I thought I was going to be disappointed but my mind was blown away best food one of the house chefs Kevin did an amazing job on our 5 course dinner to top it off with dessert and a shot of a 10 year old Japanese whiskey

This is a great place to enjoy ur Japanese experience. Sushi is delish! Regular menu is awesome ... Give it a try ! It's my fave now in Stockton

Excellent quality of the fish and I really appreciated the executive chef coming to my tappe and walking me through the nigiri he selected for me.
