I went to the VONS in Pacific Beach today for the first time.

I was so impressed. I don't think I've ever seen so many self-check out machines before and numerous checkers open too. It was a quick grab my items and really fast checkout.

I highly recommend going there if you don't like waiting in long, slow lines.

I compare this to the Pacific Beach Ralph's that I went to the night before.
It was a mess. Only 2 checkers open with long slow lines and a couple self-check out machines. Meanwhile they had numerous self-checkout machines at the other end all locked off.

Horrible "service". I used to go there, but it's been a year since. What a DISAPPOINTMENT !!!

i ordered on the app and had curb pick-up. It was very smooth and easy. Everything i ordered out of $175 in groceries was received. i highly recommended this service. There was no extra charge. i simply let them know i was on my way through the app. Parked, gave my space number, and the grocher came out with a cart full of bagged groceries. So cool!

This store employees all have a high desire to please and are so nice while doing it. One employee in particular, Colleen is fabulous! I won't go into detail, but she went beyond the call of her job and saved my bacon. Thank you Colleen, you rock! I love me some PB Vons.

Check out process can be difficult or long, but still a great grocery store. Large parking lot that’s easy to get in and out of.

I told my wife that I don't use the Von's deli near my work (Scripps Ranch) due to mediocre service. And the first time at Von's deli (Pacific Beach) it felt rushed, thanks Dave. But today was an exceptional experience from Rik. I felt he genuinely wanted me to have the best food Von's had to offer. Thank you, Rik.

Had an amazing experience with Coleen and her team at the bakery here! It was very easy to communicate - she even checked in before finalizing the order. Since I had so many cakes, they make it easy with 1 receipt and by walking to my car with two carts to help me. Such a pleasure!!!

Great location. Rick in the deli provided exemplary service and is excellent at what he does.

Went i last minute for cake and balloons for a 1st birthday. I got everything I needed and the cakes were cute and delicious. No need for going to a fancy bakery.

The store is always stocked well and I like shopping here. It's just so different from other Vons stores. Wayyyy different.

Probably the most helpful and friendly employees of any store we have every been in!
My wife and I shop at Safeway in Arizona so we both need help finding just about everything in this California Vons. We asked no less than 4 employees for help and without exception they were outstanding. Escorted us to find exactly what we needed in spite of the fact that were super busy.
Can't say enough good things!

I had a very pleasant experience with curbside pickup, ordering from the app yesterday and getting it this morning. They sent my order with a store employee right to the door of my vehicle, checked my verification code and put it right where I asked. Great customer service with a smile and thanks for shopping with us today!

Very clean and organized store. I Like the fresh pressed juice section.

There were lots of parking spots available. Everything was clean and organized. The staff is helpful, both inside and outside the store. Super easy to get what you need. Sometimes there is a wait to pay but then I usually go self service and it’s never too long of a wait.

My experience was great, the store itself has a very up scale atmosphere. Quite a large Vons, all items fully stocked & in place. I was able to get a glimpse of a crew member sanitizing the carts. A plus for me along with the disposable wipe stand they have to the right of the entrance. Nearly no wait in line 3 to 5 minutes give or take & my cashier was calm & collected. Over all experience, I would gladly go back, if only I could afford it.
Four point eight starts only do to the price, but with everything I mentioned above it's a proper tradeoff in ones opinion.

This is s great store with a big, fast moving inventory. Some of the employees have worked here over 25 years and the customer service is top shelf. It's in the heart of Pacific Beach so it can be hectic at times.

Great place to shop, had every thing we needed for our vacation

They keep store clean, and the layout makes sense and helps save you time while shopping and above that it’s really the staff that makes the difference for me. I always enjoy running into that store manager. He’s always in a great mood and you can tell that everyone else enjoys working there.

My go-to regular grocery store…get the app and save every digital coupon you can, each time you go in. They sometimes throw crazy deals in alcohol bevs and pretty much everything else

My family likes Von's. They have a good bakery and on Fridays they have special deals like $5 bags of chicken which is good for value shoppers.
