The food are pretty good. Good favor and presentation! We love it! Will definitely go back again. The service was very good as well.

Went on a weekend around 6pm and the place has a good crowd already. We had the oysters (delish), spicy ramen (that broth) fresh sushi platter, a roll and a whiskey sour with egg white. I love the selection on the sushi platter and the freshness of the fish. The waiter was attentive enough, we were given two orders of oyster, didnt mind that at all and just told them to add the extra oyster order that we didnt ask for to the bill. Overall a pleasant dining experience in Stockton. We felt safe and location is convemient enough. More parking in the back.

Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu.

Jonathon gave us some great menu details and recommendations upon request and gave us a taste of a secret menu item as a fun bonus!

Each cocktail was unique and full of flavour. We especially enjoyed the spicy tuna roll.

I came here with my uncle who is a local and has been here multiple times, I see why he brings visiting friends and relatives! It is a great spot.

This place is amazing and it is definitely in my top 5 all time sushi spots! Staff is always great and the food, well, it speaks for itself. It is a little higher end on pricing but that's good sushi for ya!

Talk about a variety of beautifully plated perfectly made food. Asparagus wrapped beef simple and delicious. We kept the menu through out ordering as we went along. Our server was pleasant and helpful. A must try in Stockton. 8/7/23 I’ve been back more than a handful of times over the years. Order something new, Always pleasantly pleased.

Visited Cocoro Bistro tonight while on a work trip to Stockton. We arrived at 6:15 and our party of 3 was sat right away, no need for a reservation. Very nice! We did however have to wait until 6:55 to place our orders and this was after having to flag down our waitress. She admitted that she forgot. I was only concerned about ordering because they close down at 8! Accidents happen, I understand. The food totally made up for any shortcomings in service though. The Agadashi Tofu is a must try! The rainbow roll is one of the best I’ve ever had and the sushi chefs slice the pieces thin so they are perfectly bite sized. The soft shell crab tempura was good if you like soft shell crab. I find it’s not for me but I can see how others would like it. The 3 Ways roll pretty good and the grilled edamame is perfect for a spice lover! The prices were on point as well. For the soft shell crab tempura, rainbow roll, tofu agadashi, and a to go Dill Salmon roll the bill came out to $51. Not bad. I’ve paid more for much lower quality sushi at other restaurants. I would visit this establishment again and I recommend them to others!

The Sushi dishes are fresh. The prices are fair.

Love love love this place. When me and my boyfriend are craving sushi this is our to go spot. The grilled squid and spicy edamame is our favorite appetizer and we always like to mix up our roll orders. Every time we go the hostess is so nice and welcoming and we always leave very happy and satisfied ☺

My favorite sushi spot of all time - every time I come back to Stockton, this is the one place I make sure to visit! Love the BTS and beef cilantro rolls!

Update 2023: Cocoro has changed hands and is still great but with updated rolls. New favs are Red Dragon and Spicy Sesame Seared Tuna

What I like about Stockton is the many, many options of food! Thankfully the husband and I love sushi. We're always up for dining at newer places. Before Cocoro we only ever knew Misaki downtown and the Sushi buffet on Hammer Lane. Dining here is completely worth the wait on busy weekends especially if you're out on the patio. You get to listen to the guy with the guitar (if he's there) and enjoy the busy Miracle Mile scenery. The sushi was amazing! I was not disappointed at all. I recommend starting out with the Agedashi Tofu appetizer; simple, tasteful, and light! In the picture we have the California Deluxe sushi roll (front) and the Red Dragon sushi roll (back)- both very satisfying choices. The service was great considering how busy it got after 7PM. We're coming back for sure. *I definitely ordered another Red Dragon roll to-go lol*

Spicy albacore lived up to its name... been wanting to come here for years. So yummy. Excellent service. Even though the new guy was still learning, he was a joy.

Super delicious and great quality. Everything they brought out to the other tables looks amazing. Can’t wait to come back and try other items. The hostess was super friendly and remembers your name. Service staff was wonderful as well.

Love the spicy crunchy scallop roll! We always get the albacore tataki appetizer (not on the menu, our man Raffa knows how to make it) Staff is always great!

Oh hey there. You caught me with my mouth full. I got the California roll and the spicy tuna roll. Don't bore us, get to the chorus, Kyle. The California roll is out of this world. I mean other places are fine but those others are using imitation crab meat which suuuuuucks. Emergencies only. No before you go and order yourself a spicy tuna roll you should know that this isn't like any other spicy tuna roll you've ever had, cuz this one... It's uh, spicy. Little beads of sweat on my noggin. Hawt. And so good.

Seems to be a family affair around here. People act like they love working here which I appreciate. And they like each other. You can tell. If I lived in Stockton, I would be here every week. In fact, this place is a reason to move to Stockton. I'm sure there's a real estate agent in here somewhere. It's packed after all, but they still greeted me immediately and found me a seat without a wait.

To summarize: the crab is real and the spicy tuna is SPICY hawt. Delish. Coming back tomorrow.

This place has to be the best sushi place in town now!

Loooong time ago I visited and my experience was not satisfying at all.

Flavors were poor, the place ambience was dim and service was decent.

During this new visit the atmosphere was upbeat, the place was redesigned and thanks God we sat at the bar (drinking bar, not the sushi bar) because we met the new owner Jonathan 😃

What a delightful experience where the conversation was personalized and lighthearted.

The food was delicious as well as the many new options on the menu 🙌

This is definitely the place you want to go back again, again and again!

Wow, one awesome Sushi place! I had an Amazing roll and the Ladies Sushi masters were friendly and easy to talk to, especially Maria. Try it and you won't be disappointed.

Food and service was great! Portions were very big as you can see in my photos. And they were very accommodating for our 9 person group. A must try!!!!!

Food is always great! 😋 We had miso soup 🥣 and 3 types of sushi rolls🐉 Waiters are nice. Check in often and I don't have to wait for long to ask them for something.

Busy place when we went, which is a good sign. Friendly staff and didn't have to get their attention to fill my glass of water. They have a good variety of special rolls and could choose from soy, mango wrap instead of seaweed for the sushi.

This was my first time here and I had the chicken katsu it was and excellent option it was really good and the waiters were very nice and helpful came to my table often and I got really good seating near a window
