But seriously, who doesn't love jarred, canned, pickled and fermented goodies packed tightly onto shelves, waiting for a discerning, drooling palate to sidle on by and slide a few into a basket for purchase? Places like this are my weakness, and I usually have to restrain myself immensely on how much I allow myself to buy, or I'll be in serious financial trouble!

There's more here than just olives: garlic, sauces, jams and jellies, mustards and other condiments, pickled veggies, vinegars, oils, wine, kitchen goods, cookware and doo-dads, books, apparel, and likely a whole lot more I overlooked, while whittling down my selection to a handful of jars. Apparently I have good taste, as one of the employees remarked that I'd picked his two favorite olives in the entire store.

Samples of olives and related products are available, but limited. Employees are very friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. This is the sort of mercantile Mecca you hope, nay, pray to find while shopping in a small town, and the Olive Shoppe does La Conner proud!

Really fantastic shoppe that offers gourmet oils, jams, vinegars, pickles & olives, etc from local, domestic & international locales.

They even have an olive bar where you can sample the olives 2 for 25¢. As you're sampling the various olives, they explain the nuances of each olive to enhance the experience... Very interesting information! 😃

I always stop here when in La Conner. I get my spicy olive fix. The sample most of the olives and the staff is very knowledgeable. The shop attached sells some tourist trinkets and kitchen supplies.

From Bellingham to Aberdeen I have found this to be an excellent shoppe in regards to the quality items they provide and service. Such as the Bodum Bistro coffee grinder which I acquired from them about four years ago which is still grinding just as it did it's first day. And today we stopped in to acquire a pour spout for olive oil. As I now consider myself a local, even for a "chip clip" here than to drive to Anacortes, Mt Vernon or Burlington to save time and fuel. Nothing else to add to other peoples reviews. In humor... Each persons taste is different and sometimes a bottle can go bad. Wine is subjective. Washington Sips is a few doors down. ;)

Owners are very friendly and helpful. Very service oriented. Coffee and bicotti are our favorite treat from Orange Expresso. Store attached has many Washington products.

The owner Greg was so knowledgable in all the different olive oils and vinegars. When you are coming to LaConnor you will want to try the tasting room.
White vinegar with vanilla bean ice cream yes I said it ice cream was amazing!

Love this place absolutely the best owners you could ask for. I only make it there 4 maybe 5 times a year and they always remember my name. Great selection of stock to choose from too

Best damn bacon pickles in the world! And they are vegetarian! Maybe even vegan! Gotta get the Good and evil pickles WITH garlic!
