Food was pretty mid, enjoyable but I've had better honestly. Menu should specify if a roll is deep fried or not as the descriptions sometimes say deep fried but only a part of the roll is deepfried or one of the ingredients like the shrimp. Staff was very on point however and very kind. Always topped up on water and checked if we needed anything.

This place is a little unassuming but delicious!! We had the sashimi appetizer and the fish was cut really well. We ordered the Black Dragon and Crazy monkey and I'd come here again to have these

Excellent and superb menu and the sushi is award winning! I always want this food all the time. An absolute favorite of mine and I always suggest to others. If you like sushi, hands down this is the number 1 choice.

I Enjoy coming here. Food is always good and you have a server with a wonderful smile. Super rainbow roll is always my Jam but this time I tried the butterfly. Did not disappoint!

Food was very delicious! And the customer service was awesome!! I got the matsuyama roll and their three item bento box. It was teriyaki salmon, Catsu shrimp, and tempura shrimp. We got seated right away, our waitress came right after that. We ordered, she brought out our miso soup and then our sushi, after that we had our entree. Great food and service! Price wasn’t bad at all. Nice little quiet place.

This was my first time trying this sushi place out by my house. I tried the SPIDERMAN ROLL it includes:

(soft-shell crab, cucumber, avocado, crab mayo, tuna, hamachi, unagi, cashews, tobiko & spicy sauce) - 17.95

I tell you if you haven't tried this roll before I suggest you try it. It's fire 🔥 🔥🔥

This place is great for a variety of Japanese cuisine beyond Sushi. The cooking was perfect and flavors were excellent.

I got the Tempura Entree and a Dinner Bento Combo.

Tempura was crunchy, plenty of shrimp, and good vegetable variety. The Bento was Beef Teriyaki, California Roll, and Salmon Teriyaki. Beef was perfectly cooked, nice grill marks, tender, and delicious. Salmon was the same: Grilled to perfection, not too fishy, and so tasty. California roll had no problems at all. Tasty and filling.

I REALLY appreciate the slight under salting. That is always great because you will always get soy sauce to adjust it to your personal taste.

Also, just letting things have their natural flavor is usually the best course of action. There is no need to drown things in salt. Even the Teriyaki was subtle and the flavors of the Beef and Salmon were all there.

Finally, I called in my order and was told 20 minutes. I arrived in 10 and it was just getting placed on the To Go counter.

No complaints. Delicious, perfectly cooked, speedy and pleasant service.

Cozy environment. Friendly staff. Always a great place to get your sushi fix.

Delicious Sashimi Dinner. We decided spur of the moment to come here for dinner. Hadn’t been in awhile. Not too busy with the covid capacity restrictions. Good service. All of the food we ate, gyoza, tempura, miso soup, and of course the sashimi, was delicious. We will be back.

The food is pretty good! And the service is great! Try the Lakewood roll! Love the Bentos. Could use a little update on tables. Still learning to use chopsticks ask for fork and they gave us plastic but all in all it's it's pretty good

Been going here for over 15 years. Best place for sushi in Stockton and the surrounding areas. Friendliest servers too. A bit on the pricier side, but you won't be disappointed. Personal favorite the Triple S, Chirashi, and the soft shelled crab.

One of the best Bento box lunches. Salmon Teriyaki and Tempura is fresh! Service is fast.

Cozy sushi spot on March Lane. Me and the Hubs went for dinner. They had a wide variety of specialty rolls but we decided on the Island and Golden Dragon Rolls. Really tasty! Prices weren't so bad either. Definitely going to come back and try some more rolls

Saturday night dinner and it wasn't very busy. Service was quick, polite, and the food was great. Had the Island Roll and a Sapporo! Also had the Edamame! Would definitely go back!

Matsuyama Restaurant has changed my attitude about Shusi. The first time i ever tried Shusi it was the worst thing i had ever put in my mouth and believe me people I have had some bad stuff. I will allways give something a try 1 time before I say iI don't like it but somehow 2 of my sisters talked me into trying it again. when I first walked in to Matsuyama Restaurant we were quickly greeted by a friendly looking person that showed us to our seats, we were given menu's and told someon would take our order soon. big supprise to me less that five minutes to study the menu, so my food was ordered for me. When the food arrived it was so good looking it seemed a shame to mess the plate up. with great caution i put a peice of Volcano Roll in my mouth and slowly began to chew and was I in for a giant food awakening. there was an explosion of flavor that so great I could not belive it, I ate my Volcano Roll down before i knew it, and was wanting more. With just the right amount of spice, sauce, roe, and raw sea food Matsuyama Restaurant really changed my mind about Sushi. If you dont give it a try you are only doing yourself a dis-service

We'd been hearing about In Out Burger for the last two weeks since we entered southern California on a cross country road trip. Service was outstanding but the product just didn't measure up. If Burgers and fries are all you're offering then they should be exceptional. We ordered two cheeseburgers with onions, one without and two orders of fries. Like I said, service super but the meal came in dead last against all the other fast food restaurants.

Everything that we got was really good. I recommend trying this place. Good sushi.
