Ramada by Wyndham Carlsbad

Here’s a 3D view of the room with kitchenette. I’ve stayed here twice with my two kiddos during my visits. I’ve had a couple issues such as the bathroom tub drain stopper not working and the doorknob coming loose but those are the only issues I’ve really had. The rooms are comfortable, and pretty good sized. You have to call the lobby for a dish pack and just explain what you need.

For the kitchenette, there’s a two burner cooktop, full fridge with freezer, a dish washer and a rather large microwave.

For the price and for what you get, it’s completely reasonable. I’ve stayed in far more expensive hotels and have gotten much less.

They also have a continental breakfast as well.

Parking is also good here. I haven’t had to park out in the street or anything and there’s been ample parking.

Rooms are very accommodating. The service is exemplary. The team here at Ramada Inn are special people with amazing work ethic. Pool was always clean, and the hot tub was always in service. Clean sheets and towels daily. Great for family vacations or even business trips. Not far from San Diego. Close to everything fun in southern California. I will come back. Thanks Ramada Inn!!!!

I loved the room. I was expecting much less of a room for the price I paid through hotwire and the room exceeded my expectations. I thought I was getting a regular 2 bed room and walked in to what seemed like a modern miniature apartment with a full kitchen and all. Great breakfast too. I will definitely go back.

Pleasant surprise when we got into the room. We figured for a holiday time stay at 70 a night the room wouldn't be great. But it was actually nice than some rooms that I have paid double for in a non-prime season. Would definitely stay again.

This is one of my new favorite hotels. It's very close to the beach. I also enjoyed the room that I had that was two bedrooms like an apartment. The spa was clean and warm as well as the heated pool. The morning breakfast was great.

Staff is a little touchy from the usual suspects running through there. Once they realize you are not causing trouble they go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. The hotel is under renovation currently but the upgrades are well worth the dust. I highly recommend the queen suite. For around 70$ you walk into a living and kitchen area and through one or two private doorways you will find a secluded private quiet comfortable bed room. I have frequented many establishments in the hospitality industry of North San Diego County and the Ramada of Carlsbad is by far my favorite.

It's ranked a two star hotel and that's why I'm giving it 5 stars because they have some nicer features than some fancy hotels I've stayed in. We got a room for 3 nights for around 180$ and they let us bring our dogs at no extra charge. The room had the bedroom and bathroom separate from the kitchenette and living space. They had a larger mini fridge, microwave, single burner and dishwasher. If we had know we were getting all that we would have brought pots and pans and cooked at least one meal there. The location is great for going to lego land or the beach!

Room was spacious and clean, have great amenities(didn't know it had a complete kitchenette and could have made our own dinner) and the kids also loved it. Breakfast was good and a nice time frame if you wanted to sleep in, and close to our destination

When we decided last minute we were going to San Diego, I called up the Ramada in Carlsbad because we have stayed there numerous times when visiting LEGOLAND. This location works great for us. Walking distance to beach, close to Costco and LEGOLAND. However, this time we were only hitting the beach. Lani took my call on Tuesday to set me up with a great rate and a great room 2 bed suite with king size beds and a pull out couch. When we arrived early, (by about and hour) Heather was kind enough to check us in early and have great directions to Costco (it’s been 2 years since we were there!). On Wednesday night after waiting all day to get my laundry in the washer it was finally available at 8:45 but closes at 9. I asked Lani what I could do and she asked the gentleman who usually locks up the laundry to wait until 10 when he got off giving me plenty of time to wash the clothes and at least get them in the dryer. She went above and beyond ever time I had any interactions with her. I had called about purchasing laundry soap and when I walked up front she had a line of guests checking in but asked if I was there for the laundry soap and got me taken care of in between helping the others check in! Alley was also awesome I needed some bags to put the dirty clothes in just some extra trash bags and she put a call in for the guest room attendant’s to bring them to my room and even followed up to make sure I got them!

My husband and I stayed at Ramada for quite a long time and were absolutely delighted with everything. We enjoyed being 2 blks from the ocean and were most intrigued by our room. Staff hooked us up with a lovely 1-bedroom suite with full kitchen. They were all consistently spot on and went back and beyond for us. Can't praise them enough and highly recommend staying at Ramada Carlsbad.

Stayed here on our anniversary trip and loved this hotel so much! So close to in and out burger mmmm! Location was great! The free breakfast was incredible!!!! Would love to go back here soon! Clean hotel and very friendly staff. Very safe area.

I don't know what it is what all these bad reviews. My stay was awesome. It was a bit sketchy to see the place look like it was in need of updating but the interior wowed me. It is really cozy and clean with there updated rooms. Like a split studio apt. 👍👍👍

We stayed on 4.25.15. It was a great stay. This is our 2nd time here. The building is a little old but for the price you can't beat this place. Pool and hot tub always in working order. As well now they have hot and cold breakfast which saves us even more money. Great place. Great location. Great value.

Ok after reading reviews we did not know what to expect.. This place is amazing. We have a suite with 2 Queen bed perfect for our girls get away. Room is huugge and clean. Super friendly staff and walking distance from a cute lil shopping center. Yes they are under construction but this remodeled room was more than I expected.

Upgraded suite at no cost. Nice stsff.good parking. Hot hot tub.king size beds. Living room 2 tv's kitchen , and everything else you could ask for they eve. Sell ice cream and have one of the nicest complimentary breakfasts in North county.

I stayed at the ramada in a two bed and sofa bed suite, with my 3 kids and wife and it was great. We were afraid because most reveiws of this place were not the best but upon staying two days it wasn't bad at all. The outside isn't the best visually but the rooms were. Updated everything, tv, and appliances. If on a budget stay here its nicer than it seems.

I made a delivery and found the nuance of the place to be welcoming and safe. All was clean and well maintained. I only interfaced with one staff member and he was competent and respectful. The room i toured was exceptional . I would encourage anyone to visit this place.

So far my stay has been great I still have a few more nights but the bed is super comfortable the breakfast was good the pool could use a bit of a cleaning maybe just the filter but other than that I'm satisfied

My husband is in town for work often and we love staying here. Nice pool and hot tub, clean rooms and the small issues we have had come up they deal with right away. I highly recommend this place is your looking for a good deal in Carlsbad.
