Hampton Inn Carlsbad-North San Diego County

Definitely one of the best Hampton Inns we've stayed at in awhile. Very clean facility and friendly service. The best by far was the full breakfast. There were a lot of people and the kitchen stayed stocked with food and the service was responsive and friendly. I would stay there just for that breakfast service. Great option if you're heading to Legoland and not staying on site.

Stayed here a couple of nights while we were in town for a family wedding. Clint was managing the front desk our two nights there, and he was exceptional. One evening we brought some takeout back to the hotel to eat at the lobby tables/chairs. Clint helped us grab some plates and napkins from the breakfast area, and made some fresh cookies and brought them out to our family. Just one example of the little extra touches that we experienced during our stay. The rooms (and the entire hotel) were very clean and the breakfast quality was great. We stay at Hamptons quite a bit, and this might be our best experience at a Hampton yet.

Wonderful experience!! Managers are all sweet and accommodating. Truly enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable!! Our family was so happy, we will definitely be back!!

Great stay at the Hampton Inn while in the area for a business meeting. The staff member at the front desk was incredible; he was warm, welcoming, and going above and beyond expected service! He even offered to bring a meal service delivery up to my room while I was on an evening business call so that my food wouldn't get cold. Unfortunately, I can't recall his name. Room was spacious, clean and neat, although a bit tricky to figure out how to work the blinds (small button near the top automatically raises/lowers the blinds). Love that I could pick a room on the app, used advice from other reviews to get one away from street and parking lot. I was very pleasantly surprised at how great my stay here was.

Very very happy with our stay. We stayed 3 nights with 2 small children to go to Legoland. Location was great, beds were clean and acceptably comfortable, management was very polite and most of all the breakfast buffet was delicious everyday! The breakfast kitchen staff were so nice too, my kids loved the omelette so much they made extra for them even when they weren't serving them one day. Can't recommend this place highly enough if you're in the area, especially for Legoland. You'll save a lot of money and it's a nice play to stay.

Probably one of the best Hampton Inn’s we’ve stayed at. Breakfast had soo many options - waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bagels, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, toast, muffins, etc. Quiet location. Front desk even let us check in early which helped us out so much with a wedding to go to. Would definitely stay again! The carpets felt a little sticky/dirty which is why I gave the room 4 stars. Pool and hot tub available, but we didn’t have time to take advantage of it.

We stayed four nights here. It was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The building is new and clean.The breakfast was convenient. Thank you and we loved this place!

All was good for our 3-day weekend in a neighborhood we visit several times a year. We paid a bit more than nearby alternatives because Hampton Inn offered a hot breakfast. We felt it was worth it.

Convenient location when I visit for business. The area offers many choices for dinner options. Friendly staff and rooms were nice and clean.

Clint at the front desk is their greatest asset. The hotel is clean, and the breakfast is fantastic. Highly recommend

Stayed there for a night with kids,a typical Hampton inn experience, Great service,cozy rooms and delicious complimentary breakfast.

1 of two entryway is a little hard to find if you're not looking specifically. The blinds fixtures were reversed in their function and would randomly go off by themselves at least once a day.

But staff are wonderful, very nice and mostly social. One of the better hotels/inns I've been to in a long time. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. Great clean hotel and really good breakfast. Wonderful staff members. They found out it was our sons birthday. They went extra miles to get him a complementary cake, with candles and all. It was a great stay overall. Definitely recommend and would love to come back here. We didn’t get the names of the staffs but you know who you are. THANK YOU again. My son loved it too.

This was honestly one of the best hotel stays I've ever had. The staff is INCREDIBLE. The two night clerks, the housekeeper, and even the person making breakfast all greet you, smile, tell you to have a nice day, and are always helpful when you ask where is a good place to eat or visit. I was here for business but a good hotel for vacation or business. Highly recommended. I've told my partners that this is the destination for future trips to Carlsbad and San Diego.

I'm not one that normally writes reviews, but my stay here over the last week warrants one. The rooms are just fine, the elevators are a little janky sounding, but the staff more than makes up for these little deficiencies. Curtis especially is top notch. That man deserves a raise. Any issues I had were dealt with professionally and more than adequately. Thanks for taking care of me while I'm looking for a place to live.

Hampton Inn is a Hilton property. Right next to it, sharing the parking lot, is a Hilton hotel. Be sure to go to the building labeled Hampton.

The staff at the hotel greeted us nicely upon our arrival. We immediately got a room assigned to us and we were explained the breakfast schedule and the housekeeping policy. There was always fresh coffee in the dining area. The breakfast buffet was an added bonus. The kids really enjoyed the pool which was kept at a warm temperature. They had a blast swimming. We stayed two nights and got to explore some really cool beaches, the Carlsbad Mall, and Legoland for a day. We had a great overall experience and will be coming back soon!
