Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Diego Carlsbad

Our flight got in late so we were really trying to check in a room but no one would let us except this hotel! We are thankful because we was able to rest up and enjoy all the amenities that came with it! Thank you guys for accommodating us! Everything was great!!

This is such a great hotel in a great location. For anyone planning on going to visit Legoland but don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money then definitely book a room here. The hotel is clean and very nice. The free breakfast isn't added bonus. The staff is super friendly as well. This is my third time staying here already while going to Legoland and it has been a wonderful experience each time. My only slight complaint is that I booked a room that had a sofa bed one time and the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. Let me emphasize that it was so uncomfortable that my child who was only 7 years old was complaining that they can feel all the springs in the bed. As an adult there is no way my back can handle something like that haha and so I definitely think that's something that the hotel chain should look into. This is the Marriott and I definitely think they can afford a little extra cushion in their sofa beds haha. But other than that I've never had a complaint while staying at the hotel. The drive time from the hotel over to Legoland is approximately 10 minutes at most and the drive from the hotel to the outlets is around 6:00 or 7 minutes. It's very conveniently located

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Very accommodating, the check in was easily simple, staff were polite. Reading into other comments about the hotel people worry too much on the little stuff. They served breakfast in a bag which daily were different variety my family didn't mind it at all. The rooms were spacious and clean, the bathroom was spacious and nice. Other comments complained about towels, again worrying too much about the small stuff bring your own towel if you'd like 😅. I found my hotel I'd be staying at when in San Diego. No overnight daily parking fee which is a plus. Overall great experience!

The staff here are amazing. They are attentive and caring towards the guests. The housekeeping clean the rooms really well. I was pleased going here. They have affordable prices and the location is incredible being only like 5 minutes from the beach/shopping areas.

Pleasantly surprised how happy everyone in our party was. The breakfast was typical and found in most hotels. Seating was an issue, but that is due to ignorance of guests who take to long and don't leave to allow others to eat. They also don't clean up after themselves. Sorry for the short rant on idiots. The hotel shower was great and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The amenities were also perfect. Staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely on our list for an return stay.

Everything about this stay was great. From the excellent customer service on the phone, to the warm cookies at check in. Nice, cozy, safe motel. What can I say, you get what you pay for. The pool and hot tub where working. The nice lady at the counter even provided extra towels. There was a pretty substantial continental breakfast in the morning. Quite rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. I will be staying here again.

This was a great little place to stay! I like how it's tucked away against the hill. It wasn't very close to the things I was doing so that was kind of a bummer. But it was a lot more affordable than everywhere else. But the rooms were nice and it felt like the area was nice as well.

The place was very very nice. Very clean, the hallways were nice and uncluttered. No old stains or worn spots. The room itself was spacious, nice large bathroom, plenty of towels. The bed was very very cozy. Air conditioner was perfect. Plenty of outlets for those of us who bring all our electronic stuff. We did not use room service. All in all a very pleasant stay. Would go there again! Decent prices.

Very modern, clean and well appointed. The breakfast service was consistent with the brand. Beds were comfortable and linen clean and soft. The location was quiet and plenty of parking. This is a great hotel spot with easy access and a great place to start your days activities.

I have stayed here for 3 weeks and very satisfied days.
Kind employee, room condition, parking lot, Wi-fi connection so on all of things were good. However, I think it would be good to consider the variety of the menu for breakfast.
I strongly recommend this hotel if you stay for business trip.

I had a very good stay at the hotel.

Firstly it’s nice and new, smells new feels fresh and that is super appealing.

The checkin experience was great, super informative and the rooms were sensible. Well stocked with towels and toilet paper and the room had a sensible sized TV.

Awesome 2 night stay at this hotel. We got a suite (2adults 1 child)with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa couch came with 2 tvs a desk , microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. Plus they had free breakfast which was very nice they have something for everyone. Staff was very friendly I would definitely stay here again. Room was clean and very comfy.

Very nice hotel. Very pleased. We only stayed one night, but got a great price. Friendly staff and nice rooms. Suites have high ceilings and great size walk in shower. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great also. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Spacious room with comfortable beds. The breakfast is good and free and the pool is warm. I am very pleased with the room size as well. The staff is also nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Great new hotel with a fresh design and friendly staff. Offers some extras, small but noticeable. .. like free breakfast including blueberry pancake mix and having a kids 4 round waffles waffle maker, an abundant amount of choices of yogurts and cereals with some special options not offered at other similar hotels.

The design is beautiful, we really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere here for a family get away to Legoland.

Our stay at the Fairfield Marriott was great. We were able to book lastinite when circumstances changed and still get a great rate. The room was large, fitting our family easily and very quiet. The staff was very kind and quick to respond to any needs. We will likely stay here again especially with the close proximity to Legoland and other activities.

Very clean rooms in a new-feeling hotel. The beds, fridge, and microwave were excellent. Everything was great! My only complaint would be the insufficient number of towels in each room, which was easily fixed by service.

Good friendly staff. Amazing rooms! Nice big shower! Nice and quiet really enjoyed our stay. Even though breakfast came in a bag it was perfect every morning.
