So happy to have found my new florist. Stopped by on a Saturday a little anxious. Had a bad experience at another florist a few days before but I had nothing to worry about. This is a fantastic small business worth supporting and would highly recommend to anyone. Their prices are incredibly fair and their designs are very thoughtful and pleasing. Made it hard to choose. Only downside is that in regards to dried flowers, the arrangements they had were it. I wanted to add more color to this gorgeous arrangement but options were limited. But they did their best and I (and most importantly the recipient) were very happy with the end result.

I was in need of the perfect flowers/gift for my first granddaughter. I arrived at Genesee and was greeted by Darlene. She was pleasant and invited me to look around and ask questions if needed. I spent time around this adorable store which had been transferred into a plant oasis, a beautiful space with gorgeous plants, flowers, decor and gifts. It’s so lovely in here and I was taking it all in. I picked the perfect pot; You Grow Girl! I will be back for sure. The prices were reasonable. Good location with parking. Thanks Darlene. Baby girl will grow and will always see her plant her Mimi gifted to her.

The best flowers I have ever received. I truly am amazed at the beauty and longevity of the floral arrangement I received from Genesee. The photos can only do so much, they are breathtaking in person and I've been enjoying this bouquet for over a week.

I am so incredibly thankful my mother-in-law recommended Genesee Florist to me for our wedding. Darlene and Doug absolutely made my wedding picture perfect. I had talked to so many florists prior to selecting Genesee and they were the only ones that seemed just as excited for our wedding and the vision I had in mind for the flowers.

The team set up everything and did a breakdown as well at the end of the night. They did 6 free standing arrangements, a sweetheart garland, 6 floral center pieces, 6 tables with candle lanterns, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, my bridal bouquet, 5 boutonnieres, AND 7 chandeliers - AND everything was impeccable, beautiful, FRESH and smelled absolutely amazing.

There were more than a few hiccups with my wedding, and the team was so flexible and willing to work with me and make things happen. Needless to say Genesee has made a lifetime customer out of me and my husband, and my in-laws. I have nothing but amazing things to say about them and I can't wait to get more flowers from them soon!

I’ve been working with GF for over five years now, I’m a wedding photographer and I only send my clients and get all my personal arrangements from Genessee always!!! There’s no doubt that I’m always going to get exactly the vibe I’m going for. Whether it is a photoshoot prop or a gift for my mama, it always has such an effortless beautiful feeling connected to it. Darlen and Doug have become part of my family now and feel so lucky to have crossed paths with them!!

I came to California Burritos and stumbled upon this cute flower shop. I got to see beautiful flower arrangements being loaded into the delivery van and it peaked my interest. I decided to go inside to see their shop. I found lots of goodies inside. Flowers, cards, & beautiful decorations.

I came across Genesee through google, my best friend lives in SD and I’m down here in LA. Few places I called didn’t even deliver in the 92124 Because of the distance. Luckily, for me when I called, Doug answered the phone and my first question was if they deliver to that zip code and he said yes. So then ordering stared :) I wanted the Selfie vase (which is a super popular one now days) and luckily he had it , told him the color combo I wanted and boom he mastered the idea. I wish we had a Genesee in LA too :/ thank you Doug for the beautiful arrangement made my best friend very happy on her special birthday. Oh and I ordered these today and got delivered within like 4-5hrs ! Awesome job.

Ordered sunflowers from here and they were absolutely beautiful and well put together. Customer service was amazing, everyone in there was so sweet and so nice. Will definitely come back. Only Thing that sucks is parking and how small the plaza area is, I had to park down the street on the road.

I was out of town and did not have a chance to order from my usual florist. I stopped here because they were close to work and had good reviews. They lady said she was sorry they had a busy day and not much left. She helped me on the spot with a custom arraignment. In 15 minutes she made a beautiful arraignment. I was surprised by the cost, as I usually pay about double from my usual place for a similar arrangement that I have to order in advance. She was very nice and knows what she was doing. I think I found a new go to florist.

Genesee Flowers did a stunning job with my mother bouquet - photo is the "designer selection" bouquet - and helped me get it to her ASAP when I learned I needed to get it to her in the morning rather than the afternoon.

I have been to place time after time and they never disappoint. I ordered two bouquets online and they were delivered same day! The shop and I were chatting back and forth about the delivery time, names and messages. They wanted to make sure they got it right. It was wonderful and much appreciated. It was affordable and my friends loved their bouquets. I don’t work or live in that area but will go out of my way for them.

Online ordering was easy. Florist called to let me now that original vase wasn't available and to give me an option of others. He was super friendly. I ordered a same day delivery, it was delivered by 4:30pm same day. Super easy and the recipient loved it! recipient was a male and it was a Get Well wish so the Good Energy Crystal Bowl with succulents was perfect! I saw a picture of the actual product and it looked just like it did in the picture on website with exception of the vase. I highly recommend Genesee Florist!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. I don't know much about flowers but asked for a $75 arrangement for my grandmothers birthday and they made a beautiful arrangement that she loved. Great value too as far as I can tell. 10/10 recommend and will be absolutely going here for future occasions!

I called in this morning to have a celebration arrangement sent to my daughter for the birth of my first grandson. I mentioned a few of the arrangements that had caught my eye on their website to give a feel for what appealed to me. The designer more than heard me - he read my mind! I described wanting volume and texture, soft tones and blues. Not only did he create a stunning arrangement - he used both my daughter's favorite (Casablanca Lillies), but also mine (blue hydrangea) - and I hadn't mentioned our favorites. My daughter feels like a star with these in her room. Breathtaking and delivered within hours of ordering. I would give this experience ten stars if I could. By the way, the nursing staff are swooning over the arrangement too!

And you can order for pickup or delivery. They offer an affordable option of lovely wrapped flowers. Genessee Florist is now my go-to source for floral gifts in San Diego!

I wanted to send flowers to my sister, but I live across the country so I tried Genesee florist purely based on their website and am so happy I did. Ashley helped choose flowers/an arrangement based on a description of my sisters style and the designer absolutely nailed it. They are beautiful, even better than I could have imagined. Highly recommend!
