Great crowd, great vibe, friendly staff close to restaurants

Wandered on one day just to use the restroom. I was surprised by how nice and super clean the lady's sitting room was and the actual toilet area was really clean. What a pleasant surprise and experience. My husband and I were treated with kindness and drinks from neighbors. The owner is a sweetheart with a very calm demeanour. He was training a new employee and was very nice and patient with her as well. My husband and I stayed for awhile and enjoyed our time there. My husband went back on Memorial Day and gave the owner a wooden horse head art piece to display. We really enjoyed ourselves. Great customer service, great clientele, clean and comfortable environment👍😍

Do you remember the show Cheers? Well if you do, I can tell you this place is even better. Everyone from the bartenders, owner and patrons are like family. You don't have to come here everyday to feel the love either. In addition to a great atmosphere, the drinks are great and fairly priced. No matter the day, stockmans is the place to relax, unwind and unload the stress of the day. Always a diverse group of people, with the commonality of friendships to be made.

A good old neighborhood bar in downtown Fair Oaks, AKA The Village by newcomers!

To set the tone for 5-Stars:
1) This is bar is in the historic Fair Oaks shopping district. So,
A) parking is sparse (and mobility-impaired parking/sidewalk access difficult to navigate for those not up to the formidable challenge).
B) the inside is old/dingy/low ceilings/cramped.

2) Like most clubs whose primary objective is to serve alcohol and hang out, it's loud and crowded.

With above said:
1) Ironically, the above is what also give this club its unique, musty, down-home vibe that a newer establish couldn't pull off.
2) The bar & wait staff table service was responsive, quick, and nice/enjoyable.
3) The drinks were good.
4) Amazingly, group of six was able to walk right in on a busy Friday later evening and secure one of two 8-10 seating tables in the back by the restrooms.
5) Long, narrow bar room (single seating bar on one side all the way down, and small tables the other side going half way down.
6) I did not see food being served of any kind (not even nuts, crackers, pretzels).
7) They have a complete other billiards game room area attached to the bar area.
8) ATM: one generic, freestanding one inside (see pic).

It’s a Dive bar but really good.

I was visiting the fair oaks area Friday and stopped in. What an inviting place to have a Cocktail. A very nostalgic feel! The bartender was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely return again.

This bar is so amazing. Everyone that you talk to or meet are amazing people, and nothing crazy ever happens here. Staff is friendly, beer selection is decent, and its always a good time because it's just relaxing. Highly recommend. 👍🏼

A pretty sweet lil' hole in the wall, it consistently delivers good times. The drinks are fairly priced and the pour is solid from friendly bartenders, the music is great and there are 2 pool tables in a separate game room(with an add'l locking bathroom!), what more can you ask for? Oh, and did I mention that there are random wild chickens roaming around the neighborhood? Pretty fun to encounter these after you've had a few. Highly recommend!

Great little hole in the wall bar with excellent prices. The People watching can be fun too. Nice little jukebox, a couple pool tables, and some darts. Great little local bar.

This bar is amazing hands down the best jukebox ever in any bar I've ever been to. And the bartender was hilarious and made amazing drinks. Tip him well cause he deserves it. Thank you Stockman Club.

This is Totally the Best Spot ever!! Whether it be a game of pool after a very long day. Or a busy St patty’s shindig!!’ It’s the place where you will have fun. lol

Great old time bar with a fun small home town feel. There's a couple of cozy booths too.

This little dive is everything. Low drama, good vibes, good people. I spend too much of my money here and I don't care. I love the place, go and fall in love with the place too.

Cool dive bar, nice people, good drinks. Gotta love tommy. This is a great place.
