This place is great. I brought my guitar here to get setup and some new strings. Brien did an amazing job from start to finish. His attention to detail was very high. He even gave me a tool to help me adjust my guitar, Absolutely free. I will definitely be a customer for life. Great experience. Thanks Brien.

Robert did the repair on my mini pocket trumpet after structural damage. Although there is sings of repair (it’s impossible to fix lacquer damage) he did a great job on the bell to make it in shape! Price was less than I expected which is also a positive note. I definitely will come back if I need any type of service on my horns!

Tague Music rocks, Jacob is a great tech. Both he and the shop owner Chris set up a guitar I brought in with a floyd rose including installation of a brass block and a couple of DiMarzio Cruisers. Also fixed a Guild s100 that wasn't producing any sound plugged in, but now both guitars sound great. I highly recommend them to anyone for all your guitar needs!

I've been shopping numerous places locally to find an acoustic electric guitar (along with on-line, I've been to 4 music stores), and was expecting it would cost me $500-1000 to find something I really liked. I found Tague Music by asking google to find music store near me. I went in to see if they had anything 'd like, and a young guy suggested I should consider adding electronics to my old Art & Lutherie Cedar Acoustic - it made me feel pretty stupid because that had never crossed my mind, and no one at any of the other stores had suggested it. It took them a couple days, and I just picked it up, and it's fabulous -- the sound is crisp, clean and balanced! They also did a basic set up and replaced the saddle. It was great to play before, but now it's even easier. This was under $300!! And I didn't end up having to get a different guitar. I feel bad that I didn't get any names, but the three guys I met were outstanding, and they have a great dog on site!

Awesome music store in greenfaire shopping center. Needed my son's clarinet fixed and local music store suggested here. They fixed it on the spot for quite reasonably. Great selection of beginner sheet music. Bought both a ukulele book and sheet music for Moana. They also have a lot of the beginning sheet music that's used in the classrooms.

Went there to continue with my guitar lessons. I had to quit my lessons about 3 years ago and decided to start up again.
September now and still jammin with lessons
Dropped off a new guitar for a setup with my preferred brand and gauge strings. Brien is great at his job and I never have any issues after I pick up my guitars. Great place to get your guitar or whatever instrument tuned up.

Very polite and helpful staff. I went in to inquire about selling my clarinet and the man at the counter was very warm and friendly and gave me a lot of direction.
I've also had some repair work done on instruments in the past and they were friendly, quick and fairly priced. Thank you

I have taken several guitars to Bryan and Jacob. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and diligent. They have setup Stratocasters and Telecasters for me, fixed a tilted neck on a Tele, replaced selector switch on an Epiphone Joe Pass, and adjusted the tube retention springs on a blues jr. All stellar work. Come to think of it, I have another strat begging for a setup…. If you need some work done on a guitar or amp, you can’t go wrong with Tague Music!

Amazing staff all around, incredibly friendly. I take lessons from Billy here and he's amazing. He noticed my Les Paul bowing and suggested I bring it over so I did. Brian? immediately helped me and knew exactly what to do to fix it. Even though the bowing was pretty bad, he was able to straighten it out extremely well and the guitar works almost like new again. Will come here for all advice, instrument repair, purchasing products, etc. as long as I am playing guitar.

Tague Music repaired my VERY old Holton 178 (40 or 50 years). The thumb trigger valve had been catching for years, and now works great. I love playing my horn again, AND the price was very reasonable! Previous work at Tim's Music was NOT as good. I'm really glad I found Tague Music!

I went in with my 10 year old to have a ukulele string replaced and the guy who helped us was so nice and professional. I found it after googling Northridge Music Center and shocked to find they closed shop last year. Thank goodness for Tague! I wish I had gotten the man's name that replaced the string. He told us about musical lessons offered for various instruments. I know I'll go back to Tague for all my musical needs. Thank you for the great service! ~Peace~

Amazing service and friendly people!
I dont know many music shops, and im new to playing instruments. I got my first uke a while back ago at a different shop. It was really cheep and probably looks more like a toy. Well i noticed a screw was loose on one of the tuners. So i searched for music shops near me, and this place popped up. I called and explained the missing screw, and soon i came in the shop. The guy at the counter helped repair my uke, free of charge since it was a minor repair and only took a couple minutes. I bought new strings anyway because someday ill get good at playing the uke and i didnt want to leave without paying something for fixing my uke.

A couple hours later, i got home and i examined the fix. Looked great, then a whole different tuner suddenly fell off! The holes holding the screws were too worn and large. I called the shop again, and i came into the shop asap. Again free of charge for just a couple minutes to repair it. He even made sure to check the others just in case.
Once again i bought something to help pay for the services, a uke key/note booklet so i can learn more notes than just F, G, and C from the tiny instruction booklet my uke came with.

I am so happy with their service, and i loved looking around the shop, specially at the other ukes they had. Even tho the uke selection was small for the moment (because ukes are getting popular again) i cant wait to see when they will get more so i can upgrade from my first one.

Chris Tague runs a very successful instrument repair business and music store. I had an emergency repair to my Shires bass bone performed by Chris and his shop. Great job! Jeff Reynolds (retired LA Phil) also uses Tague's Music for his bass trombone repairs. When time allows, you may find Chris subbing in the Folsom Lake Symphony's trumpet section.

As a professional musician, my instruments have to be in better-than-new shape, ready for the wide variety of performance situations I typically play in. Kris not only is my one technician, but also a trusted friend. The whole staff are like family to me!
