Derby's Bar & Grill

Ally helped me out she was the bartender and super kind and awesome recommendations on food and drinks. I saw this bar on the Bar Rescue, and I'm glad they turned it around! But I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Also, they do stand up if anyone reading this is into that.

Justin Fox puts on great comedy nights on Tuesdays and Fridays!

A nice bar/grill that you can rent out to host your own event. I've been invited to two events here and it was a nice good turn out. Food drinks live dj and live performances.

I went with my 20 year old son for the Justin Fox comedy show was really good he loved the party after DJs and dancing didn't try food but it looked good! Thanks Derby's and Justin and all the comedians.

I really like this place. It's compact but lots to do. I went to see the comedy show. My second time. It seems they always have a good mix of comedians from novel to the the headliner. Great place for those trying to breakout in the comedy circuit to get their practice in. And the shows are $10 per person. Worth it. In addition you have the bar with great bartenders, you have a couple pool tables in the back, table height seating around the bar floor, small dance floor with wide screen video playing popular music variety. The food is good too and drinks strong. Overall great place for a laid back date night for the established couples.

I’ve personally never been there but why I rated it was from what I seen on the show and here it is years later and you’re still getting wonderful reviews. We traveled approximately 65 miles to check out this bar. Owners are super nice and took the time to sit and tell us about there Bar Rescue experience. They still have the food and drinks from the show and they have continued to make additional improvements. The food was good. We would definitely go back there.

A place that isn't well known, but it's on its way up because of Brandy Marie Wine! I'm being biased, but I did always enjoy this place.

Rusty's 98th birthday party was a big success, the derby is a great place to chill out and relax,have a few drinks,get something to eat,heck,go next door and go rollerskating or go to the other side and go bowling! They also have great comedy shows and even have karaoke nights. Fun fun fun

I don't quite understand why this place isn't more popular amongst locals. This place has been redone by bar rescue for crying out loud and they did a wonderful job. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. There isn't any kind of rowdy crowd. Its a nice spot to grab a drink with a really cool menu. Don't miss out on trying this place out. They have great acts on every once in a while too.

Check out their monthly comedy shows. That alone is worth the visit. The food and beverages are all pretty good and the service is great.

I came here with my wife recently and i was so amazed by the support and cleanliness of the staff as i am a recovering germaphobe, the food was exquisite and the deals were plentiful i will be returning!

A must when visiting Salem Ma!!!! I chose the chicken parm, best I have ever eat! There were 3 of us, which we all ate quite well 😆, with a bill of less than $45 😲....

Always a good time. Pool tables, DJ, Karaoke, Comedy Shows, and live Bands. Drinks and finger food, taste great, priced right, and ample portions! Frequently close the place down, and the staff is always eager to please.

If you are looking for some easy fun without breaking the bank, Derbys is the ticket!!

Sweet Local Favorites spot that has been around for years.This Bar & Grill is sharing the same location as The Wheel House, and has been the place to share many drinks, plates and live artists with friends and family. Always having amazing local artists come on stage, you can assure you will always have something fun to see & hear here. Drinks and food are fairly priced, and the bartenders are always sincere. There are a few billard tables, as well as tv screens for any game of the week. Security is always nice, yet firm and I have yet to ever find an issue with my visit. Highly recommend local Bar & Grill.

Great bar!!! Good food and service! I live in Florida and always stop by Derby's every time I visit my family. I brought my husband here on our honeymoon and we had a wonderful time.

I went to Derby's for the first time. People we're friendly the DJ was awesome. The drinks we're reasonably priced. I really had a good time!

Hey I saw the episode and about that guy Jesse so I was gonna go in myself but ended up getting takeout...for such a random unplanned act of curiosity....the food was great and the flavors were fresh...didn't end up meeting Jesse the owner...but got a dinner and a TV show
