El Toro Market

This is going to be my “go to” meat market!

The funny thing is that I had just visited a museum today just before looking for a “meat market near me” on Google maps. I followed the directions and was shocked to see that they were directly in front of the post office that I go to all the time!

This store took me down memory lane. It looked like the meat markets used to look in the 1960’s when I was a little girl. The difference was that this place was impeccable.

They had hot food on one side and the grocery store in the middle with this long counter with beautiful colored meats neatly laid out.

I held conversations with three employees. They didn’t act dumb they answered questions and talked to me as if they had known me as a regular customer. I felt special in there.

El Toro did not smell like the old meat markets though. It was clean and the prices were fair.

My friend who lives in Moreno Valley wants to visit El Toro. I recommend this store to everyone in Hemet

Without a doubt, the best ever u can't go wrong with their carne Asada fries and bean and cheese burrito super cheesy delicious will definitely go again and order.

Love this location for food way way more vs their location by the park. The quality of tacos here beats it every time. Along with great customer service couldn't be happier.

Great meat department with friendly butchers. I chose the meat I wanted and they added the marinade to it. Great service, great meat quality and selection!

El Toro has almost everything at very reasonable prices got good groceries vegetables and an assortment of different items

Amazingly good traditional taco 🌮 shop... with reasonable prices. I'm not crazy about Mexican food, but that place made me addicted.
Sauces are bomb too!!! Spicy goodness!

The street tacos here are just absolutely amazing. The best in town! My favorites are the carnitas and carne asada. The ladies at the counter are always very nice!

Only complaint I have about this place is that sometimes there's no cashiers at the registers. But come here for the tacos they are so worth it!!!

very clean and respectful. peoole always with a smile and greet you. compared other places in this town ive never seen peoole so kind as they are at el toro market.

The food at their deli is so good. The burritos are huge and cheap plus come with a can of soda. The burrito bowl is my new favorite and I have had it with every meat selection plus a chile verde from the steam table. Generous servings, well seasoned and all specials come with a drink.

My go to place for cardne asada and all things Mexican food related. Great atmosphere and always vlean with smiling faces.

This is a very good market for Mexican food and American food. Fresh veggies, ready made foods or deli style meats, whichever you prefer.

The people are helpful and yes, they speak English. I really had a great experience when I shopped there, and I plan to make them a regular stop on my shopping list.

El Toro Market has the best tacos and burritos. If you like spicy, just ask for the green sauce and oh!, the red sauce is also the best. Talk of value for money when you shop their farm produce. Everything sold there is affordable. Give them a try and you won't regret it.

Occasionally I would come in and buy the shredded beef burrito and it wasn't always the greatest BUT this last time I went it was very delicious and flavorful... hopefully it stays that way. Customer service was good as well

Good meat and produce. Love the hot foods here. Lots of choices of meats and really good ceviche and shrimp cocktail. Yum!

My fave local spot for mexican food, love it all, the tacos, burritos, chicken, rice, beans, everythingis fire...the ladies can cook and are super friendly, and great prices!! I even had food catered for a party one year and everyone loved it! I bring all of my out of town guests here lol.

This store is incredible. Friendly employees, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Local Mexican Market, They sell hot food tacos burritos, tamales, enchiladas, etc, u can also buy with your EBT food stamps, yes EBT food stamps

I really like this place!! The tacos are amazing , especially when the meat was just made. Very very good!!!! Everyone is so nice. ❤❤
