Unbelievably great gym! I'm from Portland OR so I'm bummed that it's not in Portland. The equipment is amazing and well maintained. At one point I was looking for a piece of equipment and I asked a member and they were super nice. Seems like people knew each other and were rooting each other on. motivation Is everywhere just look at the wall, awesome posters. I really think you can judge a gym by how high the dumbbells go their's goes up to 150. They have a protein shake bar! If there were more stars I'd give it more. If you're on vacation like me in palm springs you got to check this place out. It reminds me of the mecca.

The gym is spacious, clean, and everyone is there to put in work. There are more than enough machines for your workout needs. There is a protien shake counter. Also, the bathrooms are clean. Overall, I would come again if I was in the area.

Steel Gym is the best gym in Palm Springs for gay men. The main room is clean, not loud, plates and weights are put in place (unlike eos). I never have to wait as there is plenty for each muscle group. Most of the members are 50+, but there are some younger men and women. No pool, no spa, but segregated steam and sauna.

This is the gayest gym you’ve ever been to! The staff is all great, gym is clean, and they have a lot of equipment that the newer gyms don’t carry anymore. It does get busy during the day, we try to go early mornings. If you need a trainer there, ask for Jill or Rick!

This is definitely the gay gym of choice in Palm Springs. It’s big it’s roomy. There are beautiful men great Equipment definitely would go back anytime. I’m in the desert.

A nice greeting by the staff always helps get me moving to my dreaded workout. The gym is always clean and I always feel better when I leave.

My partner and I "wintered" for a month in Palm Springs and I chose to get my workout fix at World Gym and was so glad I did. The guys that work there are incredible and super friendly. I signed up for a monthly membership and they made me feel like a true local.

The clientele is very friendly as well. It's not a fancy gym but I went in, did my thing, and headed back home. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Palm Springs. Thanks to Steven and all the rest of the guys at the front desk!

Huge gym, large range of kit and equipment, some of it aging but still functional. Really friendly staff and members. Thoroughly enjoyed my daily visits and catch ups with members I got to know when working out here.

The staff is great. Very friendly and give off nice energy. People of all sorts so there is no judgement here. More of an older gym feel (which I like) however, some machines need fixing. But overall love this gym

Good gym, friendly staff, clientele is positive and will help others if asked. Equipment is reliable but they need to start swapping out the older equipment with newer leased equipment... Definitely will get their money's worth out of newer fitness equipment.

Recently visited the PS area and found my fitness needs met by World Gym. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well as members were welcoming. Nicely sized facility with a variety of equipment. Will most definitely return!

I feel like I have to leave a review after seeing some of the lower star reviews recently.

Gym was clean. Staff was friendly. There were a couple machines that were down, however there were other similar ones available. It’s not like every leg curl was broken. I imagine there isn’t a gym equipment company near by to fix it so it probably takes awhile to get fixed. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, they couple try to fix it themselves and someone could end up injured.

The equipment is older. It’s also some of the highest desired equipment by collectors and fitness enthusiasts. It’s some of the best equipment you can find. Nautilus XPLODE row, chest and shoulder press with a lot of Icarian and Hammer Strength as well, with an Icarian standing side lateral. Decent amount of free weights and benches as well.

I’m from Ohio, workout at a lot of gyms across the country and this one had some of the best old school equipment you can find.

The best gym in Palms Springs area best people, bathrooms are clean and the atmosphere is nice zumba classes are amazing, and they have this classes Monday trough Friday in the mornings equipment is good.😍😍🥰
